So, there it is, after years of grind, today I completed 2 - Hunter & Priest - 1000 wins portraits. Damn, that felt good. Back to back victory, plus the winstreak, and the completion of a daily quest at the same time ; I am no meteoroligist, but I swear it was raining rewards ..!
I'll take a moment to savour that achievement, and after, I'll tackle the rest of my grind. Looking at my next classes left - Druid, Shaman, Mage, Warrior & Demon Hunter - I was quite please to notice the head start I'm having on most of the remaining classes, except for DH, for which I have yet to find satisfactory play style ; too aggro to my liking.
My respectively starting their next final race to the Thousand Wins milestones at :
DH - 105 ; merely 900 more to go Druid - 723 ; roughly 3/4 already done Mage - 790 ; with only 210 more to go, starting to see the light at the end Shaman - 809 ; about the same ballpark, a little under 200 more here Warrior - 953 ; I mean, that's practically there, only 47 more to go!
I find my tally with DH quite discouraging, but at the same time, when I started - a while ago - a was only targeting the 500's as an ideal, and it took me lots of grind, of experimenting, a fair share of failure and defeats before getting there too. So I guess I'm better to take it one step, or game, at a time anyway, not to be crush by the mountain ahead. It'll be a long trek!
And I can always rejoice with the other classes that made it that far :D How your journey's
I'm kind of surprised that it isn't an usual druid-druid : You know, a card without tribe and a choose one option for two beastforms. But this one is way better, with about the same flexiblity.
Feels like an ok card - gonna be tricky getting much value out of it, will depend on having enough cards in hand that you can pop a couple of cheap holy spells on it before it gets removed, and cards that require that much set up (or good fortune) I wouldn't expect to see in many top end type decks.
Just looking at the 1 drop section shurima makes one realise how much better these are: Dunekeeper: a 2/1 + a 1/1 ephemeral used eighter for nexus demage, extra death trigge, a free sac unit and an extra death trigger
Thanks to all who advised me to start playing LOR! I downloaded Mythgard too and got the free sets but I haven't really started. I play LOR now for more than 2 weeks and I really love everything about it! It's really difficult to go back to Hearthstone to do my dailies every day while this was never a problem before. Surely I get interested in Hearthstone again when the new expansion will launch but still...
Today I played the Gauntlet for the first time, hadn't touched the mode before because it seemed to be sort of qualification for some tournament. But the singleton mode was very good to play with my limited amount of cards, got to 7 wins at the first try. But I think it will get more difficult later on, like expeditions. Got 2x 7 wins on my first 2 expeditions but I got crushed in my 3rd. I think they match new players against each other on the first tries. But even I got crushed on my third try, expeditions were still so much fun too! I like ranked too, although I'm still playing at a low level. Even the single player games on the labs weren't bad. Pretty strange since I really dislike the single player content on Hearthstone and also the different modes like Battlegrounds, Brawls and Duels.
The game probably get a bit worse when it's not all new anymore, when I don't get new cards every day and when I'm not winning that much like at the moment. But I really can't imagine quiting this game in the future! Can recommend it to every one!
Lord Jaraxxus has been sad, he wasn't seeing any play and people called him a meme. One day he came across Deathstalker Rexxar and was amazed. How could 1 (hero) card turn an aggro deck into a control/value deck on it's own? Lord Jaraxxus then went under Deathstalker Rexxars tutorship and now came back as an actual hero card, that can turn a control deck into an aggro deck. Now he is ready for his revenge.
Okay Lord Jaraxxus seems really powerful and can turn control decks into a more aggro playstyle with the infinite amounts of 6/6 minions the hero power generates, and he still has that good weapon. I think Lord Jaraxxus will 100% see play, it's too good to not see any play.
One of my earliest homebrew decks (2015 or so) was stealth Shaman: I ran every stealth minion I could, then used some combination of Rockbiter Weapon, Windfury and Bloodlust for surprise burst. My favorite card was Shade of Naxxramas, which I would try to play early, and just leave it hidden until it could survive AOE and targeted removal.
Just want to share this story: way back in the early days (like, the 90's, when there were only physical cards), my brothers and I got started with Magic the Gathering. One of my brothers used to only build red decks and start every match if possible by lightning bolting the opponent's face. We all thought it was such a great opening move, dealing 3 damage before the game was even underway! Of course, I also remember building mostly green decks myself and always running Force of Nature (so cool, an 8/8 with Trample!). We had a lot to learn back then ...
Great buff, personally was already using 1 copy in control warlock decks so i'm happy to see it buffed. If Assassinate got buffed and Siphon Soul didn't than that would have been really weird.
Wow, it's still useless. The only thing this is good for is destroying eggs, because why would you want your minions be easier to remove. Also it's bad because of it's Demon tag, making it a bad target for ress effects like the Warlock Prime.
Golden Hero Portrait - Completionist & Grind
Hello fellow HearthStoners,
So, there it is, after years of grind, today I completed 2 - Hunter & Priest - 1000 wins portraits. Damn, that felt good. Back to back victory, plus the winstreak, and the completion of a daily quest at the same time ; I am no meteoroligist, but I swear it was raining rewards ..!

How your journey's
New Druid Minion - Druid of the Plains
I'm kind of surprised that it isn't an usual druid-druid : You know, a card without tribe and a choose one option for two beastforms. But this one is way better, with about the same flexiblity.
New Neutral Minion - Spirit Healer
Yeah, standard sort of card.
New Neutral Minion - Spirit Healer
Feels like an ok card - gonna be tricky getting much value out of it, will depend on having enough cards in hand that you can pop a couple of cheap holy spells on it before it gets removed, and cards that require that much set up (or good fortune) I wouldn't expect to see in many top end type decks.
Riot must be hurting for money
Bloodthirsty Marauder is just like - what was the deadly sin of Legion Rearguard !?
New Neutral Minion - Spirit Healer
Solid Body for priest, kinda boring without seeing Holy cards. Maybe only cheap Holy.
New Neutral Minion - Mankrik
Shuffle Rogue deck? You can have a board full of Mankriks.
New Neutral Minion - Peon
Filler zug. Won't do much more than zug zug (die).
New Shaman Minion - Bru'kan
He won't last long so you better execute your spells on the same turn. Cheap spells too.
New Priest Spell - Desperate Prayer
Turn 4 Soulpriest and 2 of these for 10 damage to hero face. Better have your health up vs them though.
New Neutral Minion - Razormane Raider
Turn 5 quasi-Rush. Great for Control Damage Warrior?
New Hunter Minion - Sunscale Raptor
Quest Hunter is back baby. Beast shuffle is returned for 1-cost board flood.
New Warlock Spell - Imp Swarm (Rank 1)
Kinda meh. No rank 2 features? How many of us have uses for a simple imp on Turn 2?
New Neutral Minion - Shadow Hunter Vol'jin
Use 0-cost minions as baits to switch out for bigger ones. Druid/Warlock/Warrior/Paladin can use this.
New Druid Minion - Druid of the Plains
Pretty slow, but good control at Turn 7. Can kill any 5-damage minion at least.
New Shaman Spell - Chain Lightning (Rank 1)
Upgrades to what at Turn 5? At least there's no Overload.
New Neutral Minion - Blademaster Samuro
Goes great in Buff Paladin. Any Turn 3 handbuffs?
What to play? Runeterra, Magic, Mythgard or another CCG

New Neutral Minion - Blademaster Samuro
So many possibilities with this one, I look forward putting it in Rogue decks. Nice flavor too :)
Taste my blade!
New Warlock Hero - Lord Jaraxxus
Lord Jaraxxus has been sad, he wasn't seeing any play and people called him a meme. One day he came across Deathstalker Rexxar and was amazed. New Warlock Spell - Twisting Nether
THANK YOGG it's in the core set. One of the best/most solid clears, and it has one of the most beautiful animations in the game.
New Shaman Spell - Lightning Bolt
Just want to share this story: way back in the early days (like, the 90's, when there were only physical cards), my brothers and I got started with Magic the Gathering. One of my brothers used to only build red decks and start every match if possible by lightning bolting the opponent's face. New Warlock Spell - Siphon Soul
Great buff, personally was already using 1 copy in control warlock decks so i'm happy to see it buffed. If Assassinate got buffed and Siphon Soul didn't than that would have been really weird.
New Warlock Minion - Void Terror
Wow, it's still useless. The only thing this is good for is destroying eggs, because why would you want your minions be easier to remove. Also it's bad because of it's Demon tag, making it a bad target for ress effects like the Warlock Prime.
