Too cool for school, too hot for thought.

  • In another class, this is probably an auto-include in most lists because of the stats and dangerous effect. However, in Mage, I'm not sure they want to be running a minion with an effect that can be covered by one of their strong spells.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but I don't think this will make it past the experimentation phase of the expansion.

  • Maybe it will find a place in Quest mage in wild

  • Balanced Flamewaker, which means that it is mediocre

    • Excuse me? It's got vanilla stats and, when paired with a 1-drop spell on turn 4, it can easily kill two minions. "Mediocre" this is not.

  • This card, combined with all the ways to gain spell damage, could be a threat included in an aggro mage build.  Combine this with Evocation and Cram Session and you have the recipe to fill your hand with a lot of spells to punch your opponent in the face.
