Had to go find the text since the image is the signature version. That said, while I don't think Warrior has quite the armor generation it had in the past, I'm pretty sure it has enough to make this a pretty big threat.

Notice how he chose the visage of a human, eons before the human race existed.

Now this is gonna bother me till the end of time. Also Neltharion/Deathwing was the only Aspect to choose a human visage while the rest stuck with Night Elf. Not gonna dig up old lore but I'm assuming it's likely a plot hole left by Blizzard when creating the Cataclysm expansion coz I don't know if his visage was shown before that expansion. Obviously Dragonflight delves into his backstory a bit more but that's more recent.

I'm assuming the OP didn't see the battlecry: "for the rest of the game" which ofc makes this legendary waaaaaay better than if it was an aura that only worked when the legendary was on the board

I don't think you can say Odyn is too late in the game. Considering he encourages you to fill the rest of your deck with Armor gain, I don't think surviving to turn 8 is going to be an issue. 

Also not sure what you mean by him being "too easily sniped". There are very few ways to stop a Battlecry that lasts the rest of the game.

Im giving this a good rating simply because persistent effects almost always are good and will no doubt see play.

But really, its actually not that great. It doesn't solve warrior's biggest problem and that's actually surviving until this sees play, and then winning the game for you. Blackrock 'n' roll fulfills the latter assuming you still actually have minions in your deck, but odyn merely threatens to do the same and clearly you cannot hold on to all your armor cards until this thing gets played.

And also, unlike blackrock n roll, this card can be sniped. If you entire deck built around this card got sniped by a Dirty Rat, you'll instant concede, and that's not what makes a deck great.

In wild, where there's tons of ways to gain lots of armor, this card is more interesting, although it does need to actually maneuver past the innumerable combo and hyper aggro decks around. There's really not much else I can say other than this card being strong on paper, will see play, but ultimately doesn't bring warrior up to that level it wants to be.

Lets go I predicted Norse Hearthstone and an Odin Warrior legendary years ago.

Sometimes this just hits the nuts in your hand and suddenly your way ahead of everyone else.

But really, its best asset is that it tutors a spell. A chance that you can play 29 minions + one Blackrock 'n' Roll to properly tutor it, but that's a very hit and miss deck indeed.

Outside of that, its actually perfect in menagerie warrior, since it tutors your win con in Roaring Applause. Being an elemental helps massively because the current deck list dont play too many of those.

Looking forward to this card doing work getting warrior upwards that isn't enrage.

Its a control warrior card and one of the better removal option from such a slow class.

The forge condition is in fact hardly one at all. Control warrior mostly skips their turn 2 anyway, and at most stages of the game they just dont do much else other than hp so banking this card is hardly a challenge.

Very possibly warrior's best card this expansion, because even Odyn isn't a guaranteed impact card.

This card however will be useful nearly all the time and does remarkable work for warrior because so many of their cards requires armor synergy. At least its one that doesn't require a bs condition to actually work.

Too slow and unreliable.

Jam Session is by far the superior option. But this card does have certain niches and that's powering up your finishers like remornia to almost obscene levels. But I dont fancy its chances to be honest, because jam session is still the better option no matter how you cut it.

Ah yes, the usual warrior conditional cards strikes again.

Well, what this card does isn't shit, but you'd be hard pressed to actually play this on curve, and even outside of curve the last thing you need is to spend 5 mana just to draw 2 cards with a spidertank on board. Even with a weapon its not a shoein and like all warrior conditional cards, they all tend to suck. Not entirely sure if this would be breaking any records anytime soon.

It basically has lifesteal, so needs to be respected.

The main bit is that its a decent 6 drop that removes a minion and heals for 5. Most of the time this would be just about enough, although its not anything special. It'll see play simply because it fits neatly into Blackrock 'n' Roll decks. I really think its wanting a tribal tag here. If it had one it'll at least be more flexible as an inclusion.

They are there, yes.  I assumed since the article said they needed to be claimed that I just wasn't getting them.  Guess that was just the pack a day that needs to be claimed.

Menagerie filler.

I like this only because its a 1 drop mech that sometimes makes The One-Amalgam Band do silly things. But really, its not amazing. Menagerie warrior already dont play many good mechs so this thing will only ever graft itself onto amalgam band and nothing else. No warrior that relies on tempo can afford to hold on to a 1 drop for so many turns.

Its basically Scale of Onyxia, for a class that cant ramp and therefore is mediocre at best.

It does solve one issue with warrior and that's their lack of good adequate removal against aggro decks that consistently reload. Brawl is no longer as good as it once was, so this card would definitely see some play. I just dont think its as good as it seems.
