I'm at level 100, halfway to 101 as of today. I like the fact that I can get a level or two a day with the daily and a little bit (or more, for two) of play time.
My best guess is they're replacing Classic and HoF with a rotating core set.
The best system would be a sort of card guarantee, where each Classic card has a specific "slot", and owning that card reserves that slot so you automatically get whatever rotates in to replace it.
The scummiest system would be having to craft 100+ extra cards on rotation, and keep up with the Classic set as if it was a fourth expansion each year.
Will try that, thanks :) but I feel that sooner or later I'll just give in and craft him, since he's a good swing board card in Shudderwock (and maybe one day Even Shaman will comeback as well) and I am maining Shaman.
I like the decks. On ladder I'm playing aggro Rogue (nerfed Edwin be damned). I have close to all the cards for that hunter list, so I'll give it a shot.
After chili. I've got some chili so powerful NASA gave me a call.
Good points, but it is worth noting that Riven has a lot of support to help her get the 3 cards she needs to level up. It looks like Aphelios will need to generate most or all of his cards himself. So you'll hav to keep L1 Aphelios alive for a few turns.
(FWIW, I think Riven and Aphelios are both really fun champions, even if we still have to find the best decks for Riven.)
Now this should actually be the Viktor enabler we waited for, sure it was meant for Aphelios but with the moon-weapon-theme combined augment should finally shine
There are actually a lot of differences between him and Riven that I think might make him better:
1. You get 1 Moon Weapon every round, instead of every other round.
2. You have control over which moon Weapons to get
3. The Moon Weapons are more powerful than collectible 2 Mana spells, whereas Fragments are weaker than 1 Mana Spells
4. Moon Weapons give you stuns, removal, healing, Nexus damage, and board presence, whereas the Fragments can only give you better attacks and are counterable by removal.
5. At least 1 Moon Weapon is good on literally any boardstate, whereas Fragments are only good if you have specific units
6. Aphelios decks are in Targon, which has more support for Token generating than Noxus and more Tools to protect units.
7. Aphelios is actually more similar to Zoe than Riven because he generates 2 Mana spells and demands an answer before he gets too much value and levels up.
Sorry of this sounded dismissive or critical, I just wanted to write out what I’ve been thinking about Aphelios because I’ve slowly been realizing that he’s better than he might seem. Of course, if there’s no deck to fit him, then he’ll be bad even if he is hypothetically powerful in a vacuum.
Sure. Duplicate protection on all rarities, free Battlegrounds, battle pass actually giving more rewards than therewere before... everything is in players worst interest.
Seeing now the last announcement regarding HoF and classic set changes, I just know we are about to lose dust. But keep that confidence up, I wish I could!

Everything We Know About Runeterra's Next Champion Releasing in February, Aphelios
He is so versatile, i'm pretty sure he'll find a spot at least in 1 deck, but it won't surprise me at all to see him in multiple decks like Zoe
Also this guide is really helpfull, it was needed as the champion is a bit complicated
Rewards Track: Current progress
I just reached level 160, still 190 levels (or 9500 gold) to go. Meta feels really stale now, I doubt the nerfs will change very much.
Hopefully, the mini set arrives soon, so we can calculate how many packs should be opened to collect at least all the epics, rares and commons.
How are you progressing on the reward track?

Knowing Blizzard, it'll be somewhere in between.

You can replace it with Stormstrike.
[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
Nope, not a leaf elemental pokemon, do try another type though.
* Don't worry it's a hs card ^ ^

Once they become "regular" priced, they'll display as owned for everyone. Its a query I need to run that hasn't been created yet :D
This looks really fun, and I am only missing the Lurker Below and some commons, I am really tempted!
[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
Okay, maybe not as easy as I thought. Nope.
Good guesses though

The double Stun of Gravitum sounds pretty powerful.

Yeah, this one sounds complex. Which is not necessarily bad, but I don't see myself playing this one a lot.

Hey, hello.
This deck looks megafun, but I'm missing Chillmaw and Whatley. How good is this deck? Or maybe any ideas for replacements? Thanks!
