I have two new, kinda similar ideas, as well as a slight change to my previous one. I didn't know which set would be good for Beast Caller, so I used custom watermark. Rallying Imp has RoS watermark because 1. It shares art with Impferno 2. Warlock's RoS set has quite many Imp themed cards, and idea of Imp troops gathering under commands of Rafaam isn't out of place (just look at Rafaam's Scheme)
Beast Caller may look quite OP, like you just have a free card (even if its a mere 2 mana 1/1), but it may backfire if you get this in opening hand, as well as you have no control when you draw this, so you can't use it to draw Zixor Prime if you didn't play Zixor, Apex Predator beore drawing this.
While I think 10% compensation is fine, I can see where Ikaran is coming from - at the end of the day, 20 gold feels like they might as well have not done anything. I think the issue is more with the current XP system than with greediness. You'd really think that 3 weekly quests would be worth more than 200 gold lol
What? A company advertieses their product on their own platform? What a rare thing that only Blizzard does. Next you are telling me that they are doing this for years now.
PS: you can simply remove it by clicking on the "x"
(not trying to be mean, I'm just sick of all the "Blizzard bad" posts. Especially when they are trying to make something normal look bad)
Except... I purchased the Tavern Pass. It is funny that Blizzard is sending me the Purchase XY days after I purchased it. Consistently, especially by emails.
There are always aggro decks near the top tiers in the meta, but I think it's disappointing that in an expansion themed around the old gods, barely anyone is actually playing an old god deck because of all the aggro on ladder. You could say they're trying to appeal to mobile gamers, but then why make an expansion themed around turn 10 cards? In the last few days the only old god I've seen on ladder is C'Thun, and I have literally never seen anyone actually play C'Thun in his final form. The games never last that long.
Perhaps blizzard focus too much on stats for individual cards rather than the overall experience for ladder, because I feel like if Blizzard cared about their own themes for each expansion, they'd be a little quicker to nerf a lot of the broken aggro nonsense that's permeating ladder at the moment, and preventing players trying out the more fun, slow decks.
Good golly, we're targeting Blizz for advertising their products now are we? Granted, all the worthwhile concerns have been discussed to death at this point and there's not much more to say until Blizz gives another response, but normal advertising is not something that needs arguing over to pass the time.

It‘s still a bonus for a minority of players. Everything higher would have been unfair. It‘s just stupid to riot over every single decision they are making just because Reddit has gone mad.
Yes, that's what I mean. I check them every weekend to see what interesting and off meta decks are out there. For me these are more fun.
When you always play the same aggro decks, you will face the same aggro decks and after a week everybody cries that the game get's stale and blizzard should nerf everything to the ground. Instead, perhaps try something different to play?!
I really enjoy watching Roffle, Dane and MarkMcKz, Mark's decks I am unfortunately unable to pull off.
Everyone should play what's fit her / him. But I don't really enjoy queuing up against the same decks over and over again and it pushes me off from playing rank.
I’m glad that this post has a much calmer and more positive tone to it, but we have to accept the reality that Blizzard has messed up. The new rewards track, while a step in the right direction, is a complete disaster. It is an unrewarding, slow and grindy mess. My biggest problem is Blizzard’s complete and utter lack of communication about the issue, I have no idea what their plan is or if they even intend to address the player outrage. I mean, just look at Naga Sea Witch for a good example of Blizzard’s modus operandi when it comes to things we don’t like. I am just so fed up and completely disappointed in this system, and their lack of transparency and even outright lying to our faces just adds fuel to this
They did respond though? Didn't you see this?
They even planned a Q&A session.
And then they realized Battlepass is what they need to talk about and they silently cancelled (?) the Q&A session.
Quests can be completed in Casual, Ranked, Arena, and Duels. Certain quests may also point you to Battlegrounds or Tavern Brawls. Quests can also be completed in the Friendly Challenge variants of any of these modes.
So it looks like normal quests no longer progress in Tavern Brawls.
Does anyone know how they identify the players that were affected by the missing daily/weekly quests? Do they go by bug reports logged by players, or is there's actual logs for every player where it'll display errors when daily/weekly quests aren't given?
Legit question, coz I'm sure I was one of the players affected but didn't track it
In the past I have always finished every daily quest and played varying amounts as time allowed (i.e. more on weekends) and at the end of the season I was able to get enough gold to buy about 80 to 100 packs based on how often I played.
Under the new system...the same amount of time will yield enough gold to buy (or be granted) about 60 packs according to my calculations...
...AND Blizzard now throws in a few epic and legendary cards and a few other perks which seems to be a significant reduction in potential packs by my calculations...significant enough to prevent me from getting enough of the important cards necessary to build descent decks with all heroes.
At the end of the season...if I can't get enough gold to buy enough packs to open most of the necessary cards...I'm done with HS after playing it since beta and I have an awesome collection with over 10,000 wins and 3 heroes over 1000 wins etc. Maybe someone will want the account.
Blizzard has effectively pushed the FTP players to the mid-to bottom tier. Thanks Blizzard!
Vi may not have created any decks, but man is she good in a poro deck. I actually hit Diamond for the first time yesterday (after playing for 6 months), using a mono-Vi poros deck.

I saw progress on Daily and Weekly quests (play as X class, play X battlecry cards, spend X mana) playing Tavern Brawl against a friend.

let's be real, if you spend 240 a year you don't give a damn about experience anyway. Battle pass is about being able to be f2p

Is control dying? Serious question...

1 pack would be nice. Do you remember the compensation that happened with 15.6. patch, I guess no.

and ofcourse blizzard did not respond to this even when its a thing on twitter

It's a new brawl and it's really interesting actually, very cool idea.
(my take was to go full shaman totem, imho the combo were the hero power has the most synergy, and annoys your opponent the most)

I didn’t want to make four pantheras, but adding a second squire and a second battlefiend worked fine. Thanks

I'm sure they have internal data for this as most players probably didn't asked the support about this.

Brawl's fine, but the best part was the Golden Edwin VanCleef I got from the pack.
Did Riot Just Hint at the Release Date for the Next Runeterra Expansion?
If you click through to my profile, I have two different decks like that. The one without the big guide is better.

Thanks for the suggestion, I hadn’t thought about how she’d synergize with the Poro Generation cards.
