IF they would give free legendaries to ALL, maybe the anger will slowly fade away.. but not when only few people will get free golden legendaries for nothing while others don´t, the rage will be much worse imo..
It wouldn't help, it's a really short term tactic people want a long term reward system/rework, AND a sensible apology.
BTW there was a "buy packs now" statement in the official expansion art for the game..
They are just trying to get every single bit of money in the scummiest way possible before going down, don't defend the undefendable, please.
Let the game die, go play gwent, LoR, mtga or any other card game, they are worth your time and money much more than this cash grab game, Blizzard got the lowest the have ever been, they are not even trying to hide their plans from us, using every psychological trick in the book: FOMO, frontloaded rewards then slow going, etc.
You miss the main aspect here: Blizzard making misleading and false statements about the new system. They made statements / promises they did not honor. And that is certainly a thing people can rightfully be angry about.
That, and the whole fiasco has served to bring straight to the limelight just how expensive and unrewarding Hearthstone has always been, in comparison to other games. But people were already invested in it, and they were used to it, so they didn't notice what it meant that they were dropping $80 or $130 three times per year (and still not getting all the cards they wanted to get) - all for Blizzard to create a few hundred cards and curate some events, plus pay out some prizes for e-sports. (And incidentally, they didn't even do all the payout for those events - they crowd-funded some of those payouts, despite being easily able to afford to just pay them out from the game's profits).
It's not even about the Battle Pass anymore. The fiasco with the Battle Pass has just served to wake people up to all the problems with the way the game has always been operated. I think Blizzard is permanently losing a LOT of players who have just had enough - they don't want to give another dime to a company that they now see as greedy and corrupt.
I completed Sun and Moon to Me with the Elekk. The wording on the achievement "Cast 6 Lunar or Solar Eclipses" has me thinking that it can be completed with just 2 copies of each spell. All that is needed is 4 mana (3 with coin), play Solar Eclipse then play Lunar Eclipse which should count as 3 casts then repeat when you get both in hand again.
Apparently, there is a control deck in standard right now. ETC Warrior turns out to be a real powerhouse. Don't give up after failing miserably the first few tries. For me, this guide turned out to be really helpful.
Compared to the degeneracy of token druid, aggro demon hunter, libram paladin, or totem shaman what is this deck going to do? Nothing.
I thought exactly the same, but the opposite appears to be true. I'm not calling it an OTK deck for a reason. More often than not you're using your Bloodsworn Mercenarys to double up on Rattlegore or an Armorsmith. Sometimes it's the right play to toss in your other combo pieces too. Just to control the board. This deck actually preys on aggro decks when you get the hang of it. When they run out of gas, it's time for you to smack them in the face with Rattlegore, Galakrond's Might, and whatever is left of your combo.

According to the latest Vicious Syndicate report, ETC Control Warrior is neck-and-neck with Soul Demon Hunter as the most meta-defining deck so far, with the potential to even be the best deck in the game once it's refined. And yes, it's still unrefined. It crushes aggro (ESPECIALLY Demon Hunters) and can pull wins out of nowhere against other control decks with its OTK combo. It's a pretty unique deck.
Probably more tempo oriented than most Quest Warriors but I believe it's better than going for a slower Control gameplan. The Ringmaster package may be bad but it feels aight.

I have to admire the ingenuity of the strategy. I had already given up on this one since I didn't get Deck of Chaos. Now I just have to check if I even got the Rabbit or Webweavers...
I'd also like to suggest adding Master's Call for even better draw, in case you didn't have that already.
Hah, I had totally forgotten about Master's Call. I had a bunch of neutral draw minions like Novice Engineer, so it wouldn't have made sense in my deck anyway. Also, since the combo relied on Mana Wraith, it might end up being less helpful, but I like that thinking! You could maybe do it with Call Pet too (another card I had completely forgotten about).

300$ per year for a third of the expensions is the only argument that prove they abuse us. I cannot think of another game that is so expensive. We are all drugged by this game and they know it. So why not take all from us if we are willing to give them ??? For decency's god sake !
Would like to get feedback on the wording and balance/idea. I'm thinking the third is best? Flavor wise i think it fits darkmoon faire because she could be from some animal show, and killing the caretaker makes her animals upset. I think because it's a deathrattle, it's slow so the buff to the card is warrented.
Pretty expensive, but once you hit the combo you're 100% guaranteed to get the achievement.
Edit: I just scrolled through the thread and noticed that someone posted a Zeddy's video where he plays the exact same combo I suggested. Don't mind me.
EDIT: Also apologies for not really giving feedback. I feel like my advice would sound mundane and flat for the most part.
I have the same feeling, but I feel like I'm forced to do so if I want feedback myself, I dont know how others think about this. At least I can hope that I helped at least one person. The worst part is that I'm worried that I could give bad advice, and somebody might lose because of me.
If you're talking about the advice you have given me, that was tremendously helpful! I'm very happy with the card now and that's probably even more important than the scores it will receive. Thanks a lot!
They've added several F2P-friendly formats (Battlegrounds, Duels), and will be adding another new mode before the end of the Year of the Phoenix
this statement can't be further from the truth.. the pass for battlegrounds gives you an insane advantage 2-> 4 hero picks.. when some heroes are busted are, not to mention how broken are some heroes on release, having early access to them before they are nerfed is a huge advantage...
duels..F2P friendly? are you sure? please check again.
Maxima The Ancient One OTK!
Inventive combo. Love seeing underused cards like Body Wrapper and Blood of The Ancient One find a home.
Legendary

People who are willing to come back at least..
Adding cards to your opponent's hand
Apart from those that have been mentioned above I remember Lorewalker Cho and Tentacled Menace.
Legendary
stil nothing about this
Hot take - Blizzard is actually not that bad

I hopefully open every day the OOC site to check - was there, somewhere, ANY communication from Blizzard?
No, there is not any.

Is control dying? Serious question...

Going Against Hearthstone's Meta - Off-Meta Wild Decks for Memes and Dreams
Here's an offmeta Quest Warrior I've whipped up, it's a bunch of fun although it only has a 200% winrate.

Any tips to fulfill the C`Thun achievement?
Aviana into Kun the Forgotten King into Innervate into Ysiel Windsinger into Tree of Life into C'Thun, the Shattered.
