Amalgadon before this patch could count itself as a wildcard as it has all minion types. Now it will only consider other minions, reducing the number of adaptations it gets by one.
Petting Zoo is rightfully just Emerald Spellstone but requires secrets to be active rather than played, making the condition infinitely harder. Notably it will summon a 3/3 no matter what so the spell isn't exactly trash if your opponent maneuvers all the secrets. Its a very strong card that in most cases will summon at least two 3/3s when played, so I expect this to find itself in competitive at some point. Unfortunately, most likely it will end up in some face deck. I would assume that the 3/3s are beasts as well, so there's some Tundra Rhino support, if nothing else.
Don't Feed the Animals is strong at first glance, then when the haze evaporates, we realise that its a hunter card, and like all hunter cards, its cards are only useful if the hunter can afford the tempo loss or the card goes face. At present, I don't see it. Hunters already draw pretty much like shit, so under what circumstance are we running that a hunter will have at least 2 useful* beasts in hand for this card to actually be worth the while, considering that cards like Hunting Party and Scrap Shot are near nonexistent competitively in standard.
Maybe there's a card down the line that puts cheap beasts in hand for this to then be worth playing. But that will immediately make tundra rhino broken, so I'm not holding my breathe.
Definately fits a extreme low curve aggro deck best. At the moment, I don't see this having a home, but if we get a few aggressive demon buffs/ cheap aggressive minions, then maybe? Denying a board clear, is the reason Loetheb was played by aggro after all. This is worse at that, but better at denying an on-curve taunt.
Wow. I've seen folks complaining about the power level of the new heroes. They really scrolled through and upped the power level of everything else to match, didn't they? I'm excited to try these changes out!
The Brawl art: 92/10, best NA, pogchamp, 9/10 dentists agree, readers choice award.

This card’s battlecry is kind of like: both players’ cards cost 1 more next turn...
Effects that target both players are rarely good, and I think this guy may follow that trend. If Zoolock is really that worried about a clear, they would run Cult Neophyte instead.
Just a tech card, taking up an epic slot no less. The fact that its not a 3/4 spidertank at very least means team5 actually legitimately thinks that slowing down the curveline by 1 is actually, in the long run, such a huge benefit to the player that the usual generic statline cannot be applied.
In a way, it is effectively mana burning your opponent by 1, since you will still have access to the pre-burn mana amount when this is played so unless this card costs 0 its almost always beneficial to the player who plays this. But then there comes where the problem lies; why would any warlock deck play this card? The class most affected by this is obviously druid, who is already weak to tech like Cult Neophyte which comes a turn earlier. Notably, this is near worthless against aggro decks, and unless you're a low curve zoo, hinders you as well.
Is it truly a filler card? Maybe not. The fact that it mana burns the opponent is interesting. But if you dont already own this card, then there's very little reason to ever want it.
If you’re olaying Beasts, you are probably a midrange-aggressive deck. This only comes out on turn 4 and you are either winning already or losing and this card does not make a difference. Not optimistic about this one at all, but it will be used in weird meme decks for sure
Once upon a time I crafted Mojo Master Zihi thinking it was a cool card. I was gravely mistaken and ended up disenchanting her very soon after for a net loss of 1200 dust. Hopefully this card is better.
A 3 mana 3/3 is definitely better than a 6 mana 5/5, especially for an aggro deck. And losing a single mana crystal is a bit easier to cope with than going back to 5. I think this will be played in low curve aggro decks who want to delay their opponent. It isn't terrible, and in a lot of cases this will be worse for your opponent than it is for you.
Seems like a key player in Zoolock decks, I remember back in the early days when mage would wipe my board with Blizzard or flamestrike, it's nice to have a minion that can prevent that.
And minions that zoolock run don't really top off more than say...4 mana anyways. I mean there's flesh giant but you don't play that at full mana. And there's Hand of gul'dan but you never cast it for 6 mana, you always discard it.
This is an interesting card for the Arena, since it can throw off your opponents mana curve, but it throws yours off as well.
Wow. Who would guess Wagtoggle would become a good hero. Looks like all we’re doing is exchanging a Elemental meta for a Menagerie meta, but hey, at least the games will be different now. It also seemed fair to lower Amalgadon’s power while they were at it, so good on them. Eh, lets see how this shakes out, at least now they are looking at buffing old heroes (like a lot) to match up against the competition
Renowned Performer is a New Demon Hunter Card Revealed for Hearthstone's Darkmoon Faire Expansion
Warlock is mostly aggro decks and does wonders with small taunts,
especially helps vs Hunter/DH playstyle
New Paladin Weapon - Hammer of the Naaru
This card isn't terrible. A taunt is always nice and there is a bonus weapon included.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Renowned Performer
This card seems to be at odds with itself, maybe it will see play in arena.

I think it means that it doesn't count itself as a minion type (all)

Revenant Rascal is a New Warlock Card Revealed for Hearthstone's Darkmoon Faire Expansion
Wombo combo alert:
Brann Bronzebeard + Mojomaster Zihi + Revenant Rascal x2 (with Drakkari Enchanter + Emperor Thaurissan setup)
Each player now has 2 Mana and you have a 5/5, two 3/3 and a 2/4.
New Demon Hunter Spell - Expendable Performers
I'm not sure this will be competitive, but I think it will be annoying to deal with.

Soo anyone else confused by the Amalgadon change? As in what it means, as I am unsure if its just rewording the effect or something else

Similar cards in the past have destroyed one the mana crystals you used to pay for them, so it should never cost you 4.
