I’m glad that they’re adding at least some efficient Landmark removal, but I’m scared it might be too good at shutting down things like Vaults of Helia that it could oppress the meta, in the same way that Deny and Will used to. The Tutor effect is so expensive that it would only really be worth it in a deck where the Landmark is a win condition (like Star Spring). Alternatively, players could just put this and a good Landmark in their deck and use it as an anti-Landmark tech card with a Backup plan of drawing 1 against a deck without Landmarks.
Now this is... a design i didn't want to see at all and should not exist in this form in LoR.
For 2 mana this card's heal would proably be enought without the wincondition part but since it has it...
You now have heal (which can also be regeneration) what is originally meant as a countermeasure for removal as your gameplan what will proably very frustrating to face, especially for control and i wonder how such a design with such a high powerlevel gets greenlit.
If you can't remove landmarks in your deck, this card will charge up over 3-4 rounds of using a selfdamaging boardwipes and lose you the game, as a 2 mana landmark...
This seems like it was designed with Tahm Kench in mind. With all of this healing and Bayou Brunch, it’s looking a lot more likely that Tahm Kench can reliably Level Up.
This is crazy in a Crimson or Tahm Kench deck! I wonder if there will be a deck just trying to activate the win condition or if this’ll end up just being a tool for self-harm decks. This also makes the 6 Mana 3/8 from Bilgewater a lot better.
Is it just me or does Star Spring seem a bit OP? I’d be willing to pay 2 mana for its effect in a scars deck without even the possibility of it just winning me the game. Also, this card could encourage players to not attack or block, similar to how the Healing Quest in HS caused players to not attack the opponent to prevent healing. However, I do think that the amount of self-damage present in LoR is high enough that a player could win without the opponent ever killing their units. Plus, drawing the Star Springs early will require some luck (although the Tutor card helps a lot).
I think that Divergent Paths could also be problematic because it’s like a 3 Mana Deny for Landmarks. Hopefully it won’t oppress the meta and stop Landmark decks from being successful.
Wow, thanks for the in-depth reply. If you're interested, I've been trying to make an idea work that seems to fit right in with the decks you enjoy making. It's a priest deck based around Northshire Cleric, Acolyte of Pain, Hooded Acolyte, and Crazed Worshipper. I'm going slightly off the topic of the even warlock deck, but I've been trying to make a deck based around damaging then healing all minions. Although I haven't quite been able to make it work, I thought you might enjoy giving it a shot.
Pretty cool expansion, but one thing is triggering me... the lack of capital letters in words like Armor, Health etc. even more so when the letter of first word in a sentence isn't capitilized. It just take away from all the effort you made, hope you can fix these small things 😉 gj
Zoe is probably comming soon, there is in game a Lulu's voice interaction with her
Both Soraka and Zoe have been datamined, and are already featured in other card art as well (Hush, Porofly's full art) so both are definitely coming this year. Hard to say which one is next, although I believe I saw a theory that Soraka would come first since the Targon cards on the opponent's board in The Howling Abyss' reveal are the heal-synergizing Stellacorn cards. Maybe today's reveals will give more hints (or include one of the aforementioned Champions).
New Targon Spell - Divergent Paths
Its a nice, meta dependant card that eighter works as tutor or removal, what is neat design, i like it

New Targon Landmark - Star Spring
The fact that this comes out on 2 is nuts, and the Targon healing package is super scary now.
I'm not sure aggro can survive a meta where this exists. Can they afford to run Landmark destruction? Probably not, in most cases.
Don't forget about things like Monkey Idol, Broadbacked Protector, every Crimson unit, and Ember Maiden!
Star Spring, a New Targon Landmark Has Been Revealed for Runeterra's Monuments of Power Expansion (3 New Cards)
I like the new cards. It seems that only Targon can remove landmarks, not a big fan of that

I wonder: what were they thinking?!
New Targon Landmark - Star Spring
The first landmark card that got me hyped, we need more alternate win conditions.

Glad to see cheap landmark destruction, and I love "dis or dat" cards. Versatility is extremely powerful and often underrated.
New Targon Card - Spring Guardian
I love that he doesn't take a massive stat hit for the value he provides.
I also like that the healing is at slow speed. Burst would be too powerful unless they increased the cost, and I like it cheap in this case.

Healing is cheating confirmed then. 22 is a weirdly specific number, I wonder if there's a reason for it.

I have a strange feeling we're going to see a lot of people holding onto at least something to target landmark removals :D

New Freljord Landmark - The Howling Abyss
I am the only one who enjoys the fact its effect is mostly a flavor to the ARAM that happens on The Howling Abyss rather then a proper mechanic?
