I like what you have done with this deck. I too have an affinity to giants. I was playing with my Even Warlock build and tried to use Frost Giants. Unfortunately, it isn't as consistent as other giants.
Flux just casually throws that one in for the OoC HS community. Only people to know are the ones that bothered to click this post instead of taking it for face value on the home page. =)
I just noticed you complained about not being able to get new voiceline skins without paying?
Wholeheartedly agreed but, didn’t you just agree with their decision to not reward the additional voicelines from 1k portraits, you know, the ONLY achievement-based skin reward in the game right now?
I wasn't sold on the game until the bottom of their website said "Game Fun". Absolutely sold now.
On a serious note, this game does look pretty fun. Reminds me of a mix between Advance Wars in terms of using the board and taking advantage of the landscape of the board combined with a card game, which are two of my favorite genres of games. This game will definitely go onto my watchlist, thanks for bringing it to my attention!
Couldn’t disagree more. A lot of people don’t even play ranked mode let alone winning games in it, So no you don’t just get 1k portraits by just playing the game.
So I don’t know. If they don’t reward 1k win players with new voiceline skins nothing would surprise me at all
I'm really torn about this. Both me and my partner were convinced that it definitely has to be a Darkmoon Faire themed expansion, but with the December card back revealed... It could still be Pandaria expansion. Looking at the teaser we were given earlier this year, the orange thing in the middle doesn't look at all like the Darkmoon eye, more like any ember stuff that Mantrid always love to drown and seal you in in WoW, both in Pandaria expansion and in the Visions of N'Zoth's assault on Vale of Eternal Blossoms during BfA. However the wooden clunky boarder surrounding it doesn't make sense.
Good, now if they would add Jaina /Arthas Specific interactions like other Hero pairings have, all will be right with the World. How this been overlooked for soooooooo long is beyond me.
100% going to be the Book of Heroes gang for the near future. If that extends to the battle pass too, it's going to make for some serious disappointment.
I just wonder why they thought not including new Voicelines would be a good Idea.
I can see why they didn't record new ones for the 1000-Wins-Portraits, since these are supposed to be Upgrades that you'll eventually unlock by just playing the Game, but not giving new Voicelines to a Skin that you can only get if you pay for it is just stupid.
I see the best example with Nemsy and the Fen Creeper for what are you saying but could be more "image wided" as it was Headless Horseman in order to see a little bit more background. The horse is not needed but maybe more than a head and a hammer :P
Fun time with creating zombeast again. Its been a while since the last time I had time with deathstalker Rexxar.
20 health is actually smart. Brings back memories of trying to build control hunter and then figuring out the deathstalker rexxar is really all you needed to do just about everything.
There are future heroes that will similarly not have custom voicelines. These will also be addressed in a future patch.
Is Blizzard saying all the Book of Heroes portraits will have to wait for custom voicelines, or is this going to affect other new heroes, too? Especially since one of the rewards for the proposed game pass was earning a new hero a season
The nerf to Cosmic Inspiration was not surprising at all. I always felt like the mana refund made the card an auto-pick. If you had 3 spell mana banked up before using it, then it was not a tempo loss at all. It always felt way overtuned even as a "powerful celestial card" because of it. Now that it doesn't refund spell mana, it's going to be a much bigger tempo loss to anyone playing it. Still a great card, but should only see play when a Targon deck has stabilized, instead of using it whenever they feel like it to close out a game without any consideration to board state.
Bastion on paper makes sense to make it proactive (considering they wanted it to synergize with Taric) but it's 3 mana cost may be problematic. I forsee them increasing the cost to 4. My reasoning behind this simple: Bastion acts like a deny, but because it's a spellshield can be done proactively. There's no reason it should be 3 mana when it acts nearly as effectively as Ionia's Deny spell barring a few edge cases.
I'm looking forward to Grandfather Rumuul (sp?) though. I think he was a decent enough card, especially in expeditions. So I'm excited to see if he'll make his way into any top tier decks.
If we go to the stats page of mobalytics we notice a total overhaul to how the website is calculating win-rates instead emphasizing individual deck-lists with smaller sample sizes aka games played.
Unfortunately, this approach is uninformative I could for example look at ash thresh and see that they have a 57 percent win rate over 100 games and logically think they are top tier. But this would be incorrect.
Typically we would want to see 500 - 1000 games played over multiple variants of a deck list to get a realistic statistical picture of a decks true potential.
Ultimately, mobalytics needs to return to grouping similar decklists together into one statistical category if it wants to be of any use at all.
Give us a modernized UI too. Where's the Leaderboards and Personalization?
I don't really need voice lines, but something for my own unique play style. I wanna personalize my own avatar and battletag. Have fancy borders/frame. (EDIT. Throw in Achievements and Medal in there too!. Simple things like this can make the players happy) Who's sitting at the top of ranked? What's my Ranked MMR? Why must you hide everything? Scores and Data is Important too.
Lazy all over.
Sorry for all that. I just can't imagine 6 years of HS, and we still play with a rusty old template. (I can already see the negative votes for this, but sometimes, player need to give critics too.)

Quest Trading - Play A Friend!

Hearthstone's October Card Back, The Breaker, Has Arrived!
Its a solid cardback, I think I'll enjoy adding it to my collection and using it when I have Rastakhan as the hero of my deck

watch the new alt hero for the next expansion be a warlock or priest instead of a Rogue
Upcoming CCG - Rise of the Overlords
Finally a game that actually looks fun! Thanks OP!

I do like the autumn leaf and valorous virtue more than this one but this isn't a bad one.
Also excited for the out of cards surprise.
