Unfortunately, you can’t expect the power level of new cards to match the highly synergistic/ mana cheating T1 decks in wild.
As for standard, they are certainly pushing the boundaries with some cards! Lots of premium stats with good effects (3 mana 3/4 with upside is always good).
Imo they have budget players in mind with this expansion. Dual class legendaries and interesting neutrals are versatile dust investment. On the same time, most legendaries aren’t trough the roof and won’t be needed in every other highlander deck.
Honestly, I was no hyped to begin with but imo they nailed the flavor of the expansion. Lots of interesting stuff
Argent Braggart is clearly good just about whenever you play it, but to me the question is "what then?" It doesn't have taunt, it doesn't have rush, so your goal here is going to be to maximize buff value by buffing one minion and then dropping this to spread the value around (perhaps right before that originally buffed minion makes a value trade). In that way, it's kind of like a much more reliable Djinni of Zephyrs in a buff deck, and that's probably important for the archetype, but whether or not it sees play in any other archetype is unclear.
I can see the case for running this in a Control Highlander deck, where you already wish you could run multiple copies of your best spells and where you have the room for a tech card like this to rack up value and delay fatigue for the control mirrors.
Druids will have their fun with this one. Play it with Nourish or Overflow and you can swing just about any game. Starfall is great too! Maybe a quest Druid support?
I don’t see that much potential in Shaman. A Hex might be fine but that’s some countersynergy since you create a taunt. Bloodlust? Meh. Earthquake won’t work I guess. In any case, you would lose a lot of health
(I didn’t check the new spells, maybe I missed something obvious)
So, Echo of Medivh that's way better for battlecries (and arguably for deathrattles, since 1/1s die quickly). Seems great, at least as a one-of, for value generation. Imagine copying something like Dragonqueen Alexstrasza or Zephrys the Great, for instance, in Highlander decks.

Can't wait to see people casting the Coin to try and combo it with a 8 mana spell.

I see this being good, but mostly for shenanigans so not in every deck, but the ones that have plenty cheap spells and care about fatigue

Looks like a nice Control Tool, especially for Druid. They need every Piece of Removal they can get!
And I guess it's also not a bad Tempo play. T3 this and then t4 you play something like Germination, Overgrowth, Torrent or Hex.

What is those two yellow/brown pillar looking things in front of her?
They look like fingernails?
The one to her left - I thought she was a centaur(en) for a moment because of where her tail emerges. it must just be a very long tail.

You and I were thinking the same thing.
Potion of Illusion
This kind of effect has seen some interesting application in rogue already, would be interesting to see what mage can do with it...

Professor Slate
Hunter doesn't really have too many ways to take advantage of this yet unless they print some more it is mediocre.
Majordomo Executus
This card gave me some fun moments - give it to the opponent and kill him :)
New Druid & Shaman Minion - Speaker Gidra
Something tells me we going to see a lot of trolden moments where some plays this and accidentally cast inervate/lightning bloom.

Hunter doesn't even have good aoe unless they print some in this set, so it is like not too bad if it in this class
Brian Farr
Never saw that one ...

Maiev Shadowsong on Archmage Antonidas (you're gonna need a Coin, easiest from Licensed Adventurer), wait two turns, then play Sorcerer's Apprentice X2, this, the two new Apprentices, and Fireball your opponent to death.

That card was pretty annoying to play against!
Al'Akir the Windlord
This was my first legendary back in the day!

A 2 Mana 8/8, 4/12, etc is fantastic! Really good Tempo.
...But, what are you gonna do against the other big Minion on the Board?
