I mean its also quite a good finisher if you already have a board established at 10 mana say a board of 1/1s or trees normally wouldn't be a problem but then turning them all to 5/5s or 6/6s would be a big swing. Like bloodlust but for druid and a lot more expensive.
What happens if you copy a minion with Spellburst before using the effect? Does the copy get Spellburst too and the next spell triggers the effect twice?
I ma not 100% about this, but I think Spellburst works like Divine Shield. When a minion loses divine shield and then you copy it, the copy doesn't have divine shield. So if you copy a Spellburst minion after it loses Spellburst, then the copy won't have Spellburst. If it did have Spellburst when you copied it, then I imagine both copies will trigger the next time you cast a spell.
You are most likely correct. There is a visual UI on the minion while having Spellburst active, it is at the bottom of the minion frame on the battlefield, when it gets used up, it disapears, so if you copy a minion with Spellburst after it was used up, i think you will not get a refresh on it.
Yeah, it's kind of interesting because riot intentionally took every control spell in mtg and made it cost like 2 to 4 mana more. Wrath is 9 mana instead of 5, lightning helix is 5 mana instead of 3, bounce is 4 mana instead of 2, murder is 7 mana instead of 3 so on and so on.
So what that means is that control will never be oppressive or played a lot with the card pool that we have.
So that leaves hyper aggro as the best way to rank up as of right now.
You also don't have access to things like planeswalkers so there is no control equivalent of a creature with a useful ability, just different types of etb effects.
Kanrethad is best in discolock, not renolock. The discount on the first half coupled with discolock's super fast draws make it able to often be free or better in just the turn you play it.
The prime is the worst part of the card in that deck.
You could run it in renolock, but that decklist is fairly tight.
Didn't think to play around potion of madness on my 2/2, into the priest's double Nightmare Ysera spells, into double Mind Blast (one copied from my hand & one from my deck), into the 5 damage Ysera spell.
Went from 24 health to dead against a non-OTK deck that had an empty board. Wow Mr. Reno Steal Priest, I salute your clearly superior skill
Journey to Un'Goro is complete! I went through a lot of iterations with these cards, but I'm still not sure about them. Half of them I'm totally satisfied with both in flavor and gameplay, and yet the other half...I don't know. Surviving damage, restoring Health, shuffling new minions into your deck so they can benefit from Irlek; there's a lot going on here, gameplay-wise. Hopefully it's cohesive enough so-as-to not overwhelm the player with conflicting tools.
Next would be Knights of the Frozen Throne, of course, with additional time spent on balancing/tweaking/reworking JtU.
Edit (July 17, 2020): I reworked a bunch of cards from Un'Goro I wasn't satisfied with, and rearranged some as well. Also noticed that I had too many Epics; whoops.

I was using the card search tool for Hearthstone today (https://outof.cards/hearthstone/cards/ ) and wanted to list all the secrets available in standard. I don't see anywhere in the list of filters a toggle to show only cards valid in standard. This seems like an odd thing to be missing, given that there are a few battlegrounds specific toggles. There should be a toggle to choose game mode (Standard/Wild/Arena/BG/Any).
Diligent Notetaker doesn't break class weakness since Shaman is supposed to be good at card generation. Card draw is shaman's weakness. Unless I am remembering wrong.
Ah. I didn't even notice that. Not my fault though because I didn't make the bingo card (just what the squares would be). :) - But I'll tell Flux about it.
We have a table below the bingo card associating which card crossed off a square, respective of position. The card in question that crossed off Breaking Class Weaknesses was Diligent Notetaker.
Great for burgle rogue and tempo mage, both decks that are not really a thing right now but could be with a little more support. I'll have to see the rest of the cards, but it could work.
Amazing card if it has the right support, but I think it kind of lacks it right now. Sure, you can pair it with Dinotamer Brann or Winged Guardian, but decks playing those cards have very few other targets for it. Also the other effect isn't really strong enough, the only deck it could work in is Beast Hunter and that deck doesn't have the card draw to adequately support the buff.

Two New Cards Accidentally Revealed for Hearthstone's Scholomance Academy Expansion
Nothing like a 1-mana card you WANT to see in the late game. Give something big (or a bunch of something's small) Rush? Yeah, seems powerful indeed.
Fluffy Fight made me do a double take. That looks nuts, and you know people will find a way to cheat it out early.

Hmmmm...
turns out one particular class is broken in this scenario

Small typo in the square rulings for "Murloc", it's written Palain instead of Paladin.
New Shaman Minion - Diligent Notetaker
Because spellburst triggers after casting, spells that generate copies of spellburst minions will generate undepleted copies.
A combo idea:
Diligent notetaker + Greater Sapphire spell stone + lightning bloom gives you a GSS and 3 lightning blooms in hand.
next turn malygos + 3 lightning blooms + burn spells?

Nope. Both Card draw AND card generation are supposed to be Shaman weaknesses.

I like the Bingo, but there is a spelling error in the crossed out Bingo (Comtmunity --> Community).
PS: What card broke a class weakness?
New Druid/Shaman Spell - Lightning Bloom
This card will break the game at some point.
New Mage/Rogue Minion - Wand Thief
Great for burgle rogue and tempo mage, both decks that are not really a thing right now but could be with a little more support. I'll have to see the rest of the cards, but it could work.
New Shaman/Mage Spell - Devolving Missiles
This card will be insanely unfun to play against, and will probably by itself cause multiple people to quit the game.
New Hunter/Druid Minion - Shan'do Wildclaw
