  • Renounce Council

You could try life tapping more in the beginning and having a large hand size which you usually try to get anyway for Renounce Darkness to get Dark Skies to work better.  It's usually an amazing board clear and is in most competitive warlock decks.

Imprisoned Scrap Imp isn't really there for any synergy, you usually use it before one of the two cards to make all your transformed cards buffed

I agree with a lot of the other changes, I will at least try some of them out, especially Gnomeferatu for Kanrethad Ebonlocke.

Thanks for giving your thoughts on this deck!

It's definitely one of the few decks that you enjoy playing even if you lose as you never know what can happen, or what crazy synergy you can get.

It's especially OP to get all demon hunter class cards with a cost reduction and scrap imp buff

Ever felt dirty playing that T0 net deck or getting away with some insane RNG win that was totally undeserved? Here's the place to ease your mind! We'll listen, we'll understand and most importantly: we won't judge.

I'll start with a confession of BM. I was playing Disco Lock and queued into a golden Odd Warrior. My first mistake was not to concede after Baku's animation, I knew I'd have to draw like a God to win that matchup. Of course RNGesus was busy elsewhere and I not only drew really really bad, but also suffered from abysmally bad discard outcomes. The straw that broke the camel's back was my opponent roping almost every turn until the mid game when it was crystal clear I had already lost the game. I don't think they did it on purpose, it felt more like they were doing something else and not really paying attention. Even late in the game their turns took far longer than necessary and that's something that really gets to me from time to time. So yeah, the last three turns I roped them without any cards left to play just to give something back. I usually never do that since I'm despicing this behavior with all my heart but today I couldn't help myself. Dear Odd Warrior player, if you should happen to read this: I'm sorry. Please do your fellow players a favor and concentrate on whatever your doing and don't multitask Hearthstone.

Some swaps I'm personally using to replace demon synergy:

  • Warrior Wavering

Best cards.... best to the least:

Ancharr >= Lirewire Lancer > Grommash >= Deathwing Mad Aspect == Kargath >= Teron Gorefiend

If you look with future in mind:

Grommash > Kargath == Teron Gorefiend > Ancharr > Lirewire Lancer > Deathwing

So Grommash is a must have card for a Warrior player, Grommash has proven its useful since dawn of Hearthstone. It's arguably the best class Legendary.

Kargath and Teron Gorefiend are good because they stay here for a very long time. You never know what's going to happen in next 5 HS expansions.

Ancharr is powerful it enables Pirate Warrior and is powerful in Wild, arguably more powerful than Patches the Pirate.

Death Wing isn't THAT special, he is oke/good, but that's it. It's just late-game removal. Again, nothing special about Deathwing because he is the most easiest to replace, why? Warrior has first class removal/boardclear support. Deathwing is just one of the many removals Warrior has and gets. Very unlikely Death Wing doesn't get competition as removal for Warrior. Deathwing is still good, just not a "must have" imo.

Lirewire Lancer is just like Anchar. But less consistent and it's Lackey based instead of Pirate. It's good weapon for sure, but isn't a must-have. But it's a good weapon for Warrior.

The Renounce Warlock one is very funny to play. Nice opportunity to learn every class with random cards. Those highlander cards helps a lot for ladder as well.

  • An Early Preview of Hearthstone's New Demon Hunter Hero - Aranna Starseeker

I of course must have the hero, but this is the first time one of these bundles has come out when I already have all the cards.  It would be nice if you could choose the card sets you got out of a bundle like this.

  • An Early Preview of Hearthstone's New Demon Hunter Hero - Aranna Starseeker

I don’t know... for me personally I feel I’m just buying the bundle for this skin given I have almost all the cards already.  That’s $20 for a $10 value plus dust...

    Might have to pass.

    Her voice sounds familiar?

  • A Wild Hearthstone Weekend Featuring Spell Druid, Egglock, Exodia Paladin, and More!

I really want to try that Axe Warrior.  It just looks a little wonky, with the one Drakkari Enchanter that looks like it is only for [Hearthstone Card (emperor thaurrisan) Not Found].  It feels like f you're going to have an ability like that, you need to have more cards that will interact with it.

  • An Early Preview of Hearthstone's New Demon Hunter Hero - Aranna Starseeker

Part of me wants to get the bundle, because I have a problem with impulse buying.  But I'd really like to see a merit based way to "earn" the new hero skin.  Something like a quest that you can do.

Super fun deck, and goes the distance with pesky Galakrond Priests! Also, swiping away weapons with Kobold Stickyfinger makes my cold heart all warm and fuzzy.

Thanks for the comments! I did get a third nautilus since this post, and cleaned up some other aspects as well.

Wow, that's an incredibly strong field of finalists this week and I'm proud to be part of it. I have a feeling the results will be very close, the overall level is just so high!

  • Odes to our Favorite Bad Cards of All Time

Well, I disenchanted Prince Keleseth just before it started being included in every single rogue and warlock deck...

  • I Miss My X - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread

I'm surprised that I didn't make the finals, too. Nobody enjoyed my Mr. Weebl weapon that was missing a 'Battlecry:'. Inconceivable. Preposterous!

Good luck, finalists :D My two coins are on the Financial Assistant. That way, I might get four!

  • Card Nerf - Dragonqueen Alexstrasza

It's still not enough. The dragons she generates should be 1-cost.

  • Aggro Highlander Druid

    That sounds good!

I'm still uncertain about a variety of cards in this list.

I'm currently using a Claw package in order to provide better reaction (that can be turned into face damage when needed).

  • Rank popularly stats. Where are they?

    Quote From ViktorVonVox

Not a Good Indicator of my skill level, but currently Silver I 50-ish LP with a 45-11 record. (I don't play much, like 3 games a day). I heard I am on course for Master Tier with that winrate, but I take it with a grain of salt as it's my friends stuck in plat saying this. Not sure if any master players can confirm this or not, but I am slowly climbing.

Not to kick you down or anything but a winrate at lower levels never really translates one on one to higher levels. Players at bronze and silver are a lot more prone to make mistakes and often don't play the best meta decks (because they're either unaware of what's good or don't have the cards for it).

So yes, your winrate right now is more than fine but expect it to drop by quite a bit as you climb higher.

  • Renounce Council

Very fun deck! Currently won me games from bronze 5 to Platinum 10. Every game is so unique, that even loss comes with laughter : )

The highlander cards especially Reno Jackson & Zephrys the Great are mind-blowing! I really appreciate the idea to include those "controlish" cards with the risk of randomness. Most of time their usefulness comes from later game, when the deck is likely to have non-duplicates. If not, it is always a bonus surprise to find the card frame turn from green to orange.

Crafted Kanrethad Ebonlocke for a try but didn't find it as useful though. Maybe because I'm not very comfortable to cast Shadow Council when highlander cards are at hand, so rarely utilize the demon synergies.

    Thanks for sharing!
