Intro:
Hey everyone! My name is Funki Monki and all I do is create meta breaking (hopefully) off meta decks! Today I bring to you my latest creation - Highlander Control Warrior! I actually have missed (can't believe I'm saying this) Control Warrior but without Dr. Boom, Mad Genius, Control Warrior just can't keep up with the infinite value of other classes these days so I figured highlander was a the new way to go for control because Zephrys the Great and Dragonqueen Alexstrasza can provide the deck with win conditions against Rogue, Priest, etc since we will never last until fatigue against them. So far I have climbed from Diamond 5 - 2 with this deck with a 58% win rate overall, and 10-4 with this current version. I hope you enjoy the deck! :D
General Strategy:
First and foremost, this is a control style deck. However, we can play for tempo against a lot of decks as well, given the right curve. In the early game, we want to be looking for things that contest the board and generate some early tempo. Cards like Sword and Board, Frightened Flunky, Armorsmith, Bomb Wrangler, Warmaul Challenger, EVIL Quartermaster, Ancharrr, Livewire Lance etc. Originally, when making the deck I had more reactive options for the early game like Cleave, Slam, etc but found that if I was playing purely reactively I was falling too far behind on board and was too hard to stabilize so I switched out those reactive cards for more early proactive cards and was more successful.
In the mid-late game, we have the option to switch to more control and value if our opponent starts to get ahead and clears our early game lead. Or, if we have a size-able lead on board, we can use our late game reactive cards to protect our early lead and keep pushing damage.
Mulligan:
Always Keep - Boom Squad, Corsair Cache, Frightened Flunky, Zephrys the Great, [Hearthstone Card (Ancharr) Not Found], Bomb Wrangler, EVIL Quartermaster, Livewire Lance
Sometimes Keep - Risky Skipper (Vs. aggressive decks), Shield Slam, Sword and Board, Armorsmith, Warmaul Challenger, Wrenchcalibur
I hope you like this deck and, as always, if you have any questions or have a suggestion please comment below (I respond to all comments)!

Super fun deck, and goes the distance with pesky Galakrond Priests! Also, swiping away weapons with Kobold Stickyfinger makes my cold heart all warm and fuzzy.
Glad to hear you're liking it! Stealing a DH's Warglaives and using it to clear their own board is the best feeling in the world! lol
