Still, he gets you the value of two four mana spells with a 4/4 body attached so it's a risk worth taking, isn't it? (Will put it in the Rastakahn's Rumble expansion when I've got some feedback on it. Zalazane in WoW lore is not from the Witchwood, I just thought it made sense at first.)

I played Patches once also, and had a hard time finding pirates to buy. I think if he allowed you to Discover a pirate, he'd be way better (maybe even too good). Just giving you a rando is not so powerful.

I hope for next expansion they don't put the "choose 4 heroes" behind the perk system or at least gradualy unlock it it's not fun to not being able to explore, the no emotes is fine.. the no early access is annoying but ok.. the 2 less choices every game between heroes.. now that's demoralizing.

It feels a little weak, but in most cases this helps a control-ish Warlock deck. Maybe three potions? That seems too good.

The ability to get a minion for less than 3 is great, and even when you use it for 3 mana it is still better than buying because you know it is going to be a minion that synergies with your board. I agree that it is probably kind of hard to play Patches just because of how many people are playing Pirates. Patches just makes your Pirate strategy more consistent by handing you extra Pirates at a discount, if pirates are good Patches will be good, if Pirates are bad Patches will be bad, If Pirates are really hard to use because everybody is buying them, then Patches will be really hard to use.
I'm inclined to believe that most people are playing Eudora and Kragg wrong at the moment, not optimizing the hero powers. I'm always Top 4 when I pick either of them,.

Yes, with the duplicate protection you also can "condition" your champion capsule to open any champion you want.
Example: You want Sejuani on Freljord capsule, you can craft 3 copy of all 4 other champs (12 cards) to make sure you open it. I know it kinda expensive, but on freljord you already got some starter champs.

Internal racism within a game is fine. Take Warcraft: no one has a problem with the copious racism there because it is using story points entirely within the Warcraft universe.
The issues arise when a fantasy world stupidly brings in racist elements from the real world, like the crusades, Jihads or the KKK. They don't need to be there and they only drag real world racism in, which is obviously going to cause real offense.

The black and white is part of the Magic 'color pie,' NOT representing the color of the creatures' skin color.
