I believe they're keeping Arena Standard for now since Demon Hunter has fewer cards than the other classes.
The new game mode coming sometime during the next expansion is almost without a doubt a rotating set of constructed sets, much like what they've been doing with Arena. It'll push the older wild-only sets into interest again and with it rotating which sets are in the format every couple of months, it should make for some very interesting Hearthstone for those that have larger collections.
I can't believe they actually did that, sigh.. Well I guess they are trying to invest in their Demon Hunters so I expect the next expansion to come with some nasty shit for them *yikes*. Atleast it looks better than the terrible Demon Hunter artwork that they came up with.

For those reluctant to click the link: it's a Youtube link to Swim's "weekly" meta report, and he's making the case that Kinkou elusives are Tier 1 now if you cut the third copy of Elixir and Twin Disciplines in exchange for 2x Fury of the North. I take exception to calling this "fixing"--it's only 2 cards that ~50% of games you won't even draw given how fast this deck goes, and you're exchanging burst-speed buffs for burst-speed buffs so often it won't play much differently. At best, you're talking about changing your win rate +- 3%.
Honestly, I don't think elusives have ever stopped being a good deck. I was kinda relieved when they fell out of popularity--seemingly arbitrarily as the community just decided Noxus/P&Z was superior. Looks like that's going to flip back now, which I'm dismayed about because I hate facing this archetype. That said, I do think its important to have budget options for new players, and between the recent nerfs to rearguard and brood awakening this is probably it.
Not just female, but lighthearted too I hope. Illidan is great and all but he kind of kills the friendly tavern vibe right from the get-go when his greeting is "Evil draws close". Sure that is serious old Illidan down to a T, but I'd rather use a friendlier face to help ease my conscience for playing Demon Hunter in the first place.

I like how they're finding a way to strongly connect with the larger Hearthstone universe without the obligations of being a direct sequel staring the same characters like Year of the Dragon did. It's been implied that Dr. Boom is responsible for creating/fixing up Mecha-Jaraxus on Outland in the first place, so I think it's cool to see a new story branching out from all of that.
