Hmmm, you think this could be released in the same patch as the solo Outland content that no one at Blizzard is talking about? Two secret batches of content at the same time would make sense I guess.
I find these posts funny. If we rewind the clock pre-Rising Tides, everyone was screaming "NERF ELUSIVES"
And if I recall correctly I said, "Stand United needs to be changed to 4 mana, because it is out of control with a Zed deck and the elusive problem will be resolved with new cards being introduced to the meta."
One new set later, and no one complains about Kinkou Elusives or Zed Stands Alone anymore. Hmm... now we have moved on to new reasons why I can't win games and it is clearly not my fault, its only because X wasn't broken.
X = Burn Decks, Unyielding Spirit, and Pilfer Goods.
This has been one of the best meta for Runeterra. There is a little a bit of something everyone in every region of the game.
Ask how can I get better at beating Burn and not whine about burn needing a nerf.
Oh I absolutely love Hakkar, almost no decks these days actually run anything to get rid of the Corrupted Bloods.
If you have the cards for it, I’d recommend a Priest deck with Hakkar, Benedictus, and Hemet. You play Benedictus to make sure you won’t die to fatigue, and usually after playing Hemet I ended up with about as many cards in my deck as my opponent did. Then you just sit back and wait as they die.
As a side note, how good would you say Lynchen is? Thought about crafting her at times, but it’s usually a little while between times when I can craft another legendary
This Discard Zoolock caught my eye a while back and it has been tons of fun to play, as it can fill the hand and board really early with some good minions.
So this deck appeared on the site a couple of weeks ago, albiet I have changed a couple of cards. The OTK DK Paladin was my favourite ever deck in standard and I have struggled to make it work in Wild until I saw this Libram package version. This deck is really quite good in Wild, not tier 1 (or 2 or 3 probably) but it's so fun and so satisfying I urge you to have a go if you have the cards.
Burn is the main thing I play and it's definitely not in need of a nerf. The last nerf did enough, imo.
How did they not hit your face but still killed you? what were you doing the whole time? It takes so much mana to do 20 damage without hitting face..
Maybe you're just playing a deck weak to burn or something but they should never be able to do 20 without hitting face before you kill them. If they weren't hitting your face that means you were playing early interaction, and early interaction is how you beat burn. Getting early chip is basically burns win condition, lol.
I've played since open Beta so I'm not sure if they've changed something with the official launch, but after completing the tutorials you had three different pre-constructed decks: Ionia/Piltover&Zaun (with Jinx & Zed), Noxus/Shadow Isles (with Elise and Darius), and Demacia/Freljord (with Braum, Garen, Lux, and Tryndamere). During the launch celebrations, you were also rewarded with a fourth deck, Freljord/Shadow Isles (with Braum, Ashe, and Tryndamere). I haven't heard of any other preconstructed deck existing. As far as I know, the decks should be the same for everyone.
Topandito already explained upgrades: the card was supposed to be a regular copy of that rarity but randomly upgraded into a wildcard. And as they mention, chests/capsules can upgrade as well but I don't think you can see the upgrade text then (or maybe I just click through everything too fast).
I don't think there's anything special you should avoid as a new player. I fully recommend playing through all the tutorials as they teach all the mechanics but after that you're free to play what you want. Aggro is very much viable, and you've chosen a good region combination for that. Here's an example of a top tier aggro deck:

When i get tired of standard and arena i play this deck in wild. It's so much better since they printed Hand of Gul'dan. Just love the discard mechanic in all the card games i have played
I often accept and let them rant because why not? If they are so frustrated playing a game that they need to act like that perhaps it'll be good for them to vent some.
Around the Kobolds release I tried Big Priest in Wild to try and see the appeal and learn the deck. In my first game playing the deck I lost and my opponent added me after beating. I accepted out of curiosity as to why the add. It was to insult me for playing Big Priest. But it started very passive aggressive like "I'm curious, why do you and everyone else play such a brain dead deck?" I told him it was my first game with it and I wanted to see how it plays (which was true) and he continued to insult me more. Don't remember what was said exactly, but there was enough hate speech in it that I for the first time, and so far only time, I felt compelled to screenshot the conversation and report it to Blizzard.
No idea what came of it, but I remember thinking "How sad must this poor guy's life be to flame on someone after WINNING against them?!" So while annoying, the encounter actually shaped my "accept and let them vent" policy. I usually just respond to everything they say with "GG!" If they say really hateful angry things I might add "Hit me up if you ever get the 80g quest." Being nice to them and trying to actually be their friend for some reason just seems to make them more angry though...
My favorite is when you accept and get one quick angry message, and then before you can even type back "GG" they are no longer on your friend list. Or this one time someone added me, and for some reason right after the add I got a notification that they opened a golden legendary and before they could say anything I was like "Gratz on the legendary!" He got confused and it derailed his anger.
By letting them vent their frustration that way you are "teaching" them that such a behavior is a good one.
While it is neither acceptable, nor good for them, because such a form of negativity has a deep root, and bare venting is a fake solution: they think they feel better after venting, but they do not actually. The source of their frustration is still there.
This is pretty much the optimized burn deck; some cards are potential side-grades but it's practically impossible to make anything more aggressive. Part of your problem is this deck was extremely popular last month so everyone knows how to mulligan and play against it--and you're essentially running an inferior version of it.
If you DO want to homebrew, try some champions with the potential to generate more value e.g. Swain, Miss Fortune, Kalista. Jinx isn't a very strong champion ATM so I'd avoid her, but if you do insist then I'd recommend netdecking a Draven + Jinx deck with heavy discard syngeries.
But, that's not the optimized burn list... At least not anymore, anyway. Legion Rearguard is absolute trash and needs to be replaced. This is the current go-to burn list.
If OP doesn't have that demon (Teemo) yet then some additional burn will suffice at lower ranks. Get Excited!, Blade's Edge or, if you want a fun card, try Jinx.
Pretty good decklist--it's actually really close to the current most popular deep decklist.
Ruination is a bit odd--there is only a small window between when you have enough mana to cast and when you're deep and wouldn't just prefer a sea monster
Since you're new I assume you're resource-constrained, but definitely triple up on Nautilus and Jaull when you can
Lure is OK as a budget-minded placeholder, but it just isn't a strong card. Pre-deep you'd prefer something that will help you toss and/or survive; post-deep you just want Nautilus and sea monsters.
Is Hearthstone's Battlegrounds Getting a Pirates Expansion This Week?
Does battlegrounds really need more types? It's hard enough to built a consistent board as is
EDIT: They're implementing a rotation system! LOVE this idea.

Good balance between survivability and value generation. Don't have Deathwing, Mad Aspect and Justicar Trueheart - swapped for Barista Lynchen + Hakkar, the Soulflayer for more value and chaos :D
