Hello, everyone. Yesterday I was playing in wild and a particular Loatheb interaction caught my attention.
(I'm playing in German. Anduin says "I can't do that" and the error message states, that I need to target sth first.)
The reason why I am bringing this up is because the interaction between Forbidden Words and Loatheb worked differently in the past. Previously, if the opponent had played Loatheb and increased the cost of that spell, I would have still had the possibility to kill him, because I would have still used 5 mana to cast the spell. I am not sure when this interaction got changed - probably with the recent patch - but I think right now the forbidden spell wants us to use 5 extra mana, in order to compensatethe temporary mana increase from Loatheb.
I would like to ask the following question - is the new interaction considered a bug or a fix to the previous one?
I was lucky enough to draft both nethroid and eerie ultimatum in the same draft, went 5-2 a personal record for me, definitely will try this deck
Don't play much brawl, so Torbran is my choice, because Red Decks WIns. other than that is a great finisher, I like fast games and explosive wins, people hate on aggro but they also hate control, the only thing that made me rage quit on magic was agent of treachery so really happy for its ban, will miss fires tho loved the decks.
Bring back the Targus meta report! I enjoy reading them, it makes the meta feel like such an awesome battle between the classes :D (or maybe that's just me xD)
A problem with the wording I see is that I don't know if it triggers Deathrattles or not. Even if it did though, it still seems too powerful as it's basically an Assassinate attached to a large body.
It's supposed to work the same as The Amazing Reno, but on a single target. Would it work better as a spell?

I just crack them to be honest. I tried keeping track, but I have the attention span of a gnat so that obviously didn't work.
Sometimes I think I should keep track of pity timers, but unless you are constantly buying from different sets all it does is give you an excuse to be salty when you get to around 30+ packs without a Legendary.
Did you know that Evocation could generate Evocation? Well I didn't! And when a Quest Mage player did it on turn 4, with a Sorcerer's Apprentice on board, it was fucking disgusting! First they dropped the Apprentice for 2 mana, then they completed 7 out of 8 spells required for the quest with the two Evocations, FOR 0 MANA, and then finished with a Mana Cyclone! I was just sitting there, it was an absurd "WTF Blizzard, how is this possible" moment for me. Then the quest was finished on their next turn.
At least I lucked out too. With an almost perfect Secret Mage mulligan, and a lucky Duplicate, I was able to go face enough before they played their Time Warp. But with almost any other deck, it would have been unwinnable.
Blizz plz, give Evocation the [Hearthstone Card (Dragonqueen Alexstraza) Not Found] treatment.
My favorite Commander (right now at least) is Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger. He is the first commander deck I made by myself, and the deck is tons of fun to play. I really like how you can cast him over and over again and not have to pay command tax, and also draining your opponents of their resources just feels so good.
My favourite commander is feather the redeemed. Casting the same spells over and over generating value over time and protecting all your creatures is really fun and unique.
Although not really "BAD", Val'anyr made my day when I cracked it in December after the release. In the trailers for the K&C release, it was the ONE card I thought would never be bad... and it's not really. Just a pain in the ass to get to work well with your decks without your opponent immediately silencing anything it touches.
Arena has the best rewards for the investment honestly. The down side of it is that you are left to the mercy of the RNG of the cards that populate to pick.
The Heroes of Hearthstone Word Search
I got Dame as a word to search, which hero is Dame?!
Grasp of the Undying + Powder Keg = Bug?
That's not a bug. Powder kegs only get destroyed when the spell or skill damages enemys. At least that's what it says on the card.
Bug or intended?

I think you may not be aware Aber, but Riptide Rex can potencially charge Ezreal from 1 -> 8 in a single barrage.
You might want to redo your post with that new info. Thanks for your insights anyway.

Spacial Awareness - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread
Sure. As a spell, it'd work really well.
It can be cheaper than 7 mana though.

Echo, dammit! Another deck I need to make, thanks to you! My MTG collection was supposed to be shrinking!
My favorite commander is probably Rhys the Redeemed, just because he was the first commander deck I made. Huge stompy exponential math for everyone!
Much love to you and everyone at OOC for your birthday celebration.

Historically I've like metastats, but recently I've been just playing a lot of meme decks to have fun rather than the competition aspect.
