The shaman list looks decent, but I think its gathering steam largely by looking innocent, much like totem shaman's brief stint under the spotlight. I'll still give it a try before I start my grind towards diamond; ranking up seems incredibly boring nowadays.
Been trying out many shaman lists so far and my conclusion is thus; teching against dhunters makes the deck flimsy in value, and unless you go all out one way or another you're stuck trying to not die against dhunters and hunter, or being outvalued by priest and rogue. In other words, there's just not a shaman card that's just good like Astromancer Solarian, and for that reason shaman and paladin will continue to be relegated to the stands until hope in the next expansion.
Is Dragonrider Talritha a good addition? You got 4 dragons in the deck. The chances of drawing and playing Talritha while having a dragon on hand is pretty low I think. Don't you think a second Underlight Angling Rod is a better tempo tool than a 3 mana 3/3 with a low chance of an upside?
What's your solution to bad hands when you don't have card draw? I remember trying a variant of pure libram when the expansion dropped but kept running on the problem of bad draws. I keep getting cards in the wrong order (librams without discounts or discounts without librams). It's especially annoying to draw Libram of Hope and Lightforged Crusader in my opening hand without an efficient way to find more cards. Against DH and other aggressive decks, it's a death sentence.
Hey! I won! Thanks for the giveaway. I am F2P on Magic: Arena so I don't usually have spare resources to get cosmetics with. Getting this cool sleeve for free feels pretty good.
I climbed to Diamond this month with a Malygos Rogue that i adapted from J_Alexander's Galakrond Umbral Rogue. It did surprisingly well (11/1), but in Diamond things change dramatically. Too many Hyper Aggro Face decks. Currently, the winrate is 64% (14/8), but i haven't played the deck in a few days. Right now, i just do the daily quests and play Highlander Priest which is the only deck i have fun playing with. I really dislike the current meta. I'm not even gonna bother trying to get my first legend like last month. It's not worth it.
Some 'restrictions' put on them also either made the card way too bad or way too good, from what I remember. I think there was one which was just a 2 mana 4/4 so long as you didn't play any spells without killing it off first, which is just a really good card for something like a Big Spell Mage.
i must say i was intriuged by how many millhouse submitions there were and how none of them went into the finals
Millhouse submissions were in a weird spot for me - if they were just a good card, I didn't think they represented Millhouse that well, and if they were a card that could backfire on you... then it could backfire on you, and that isn't fun.

I didn't know that some people took grammar seriously in the competition, but thanks everyone for critiquing me on grammar. so from now on I will put grammar to the utmost importance in my card designs
Grammar and formatting mistakes fall under the same wheel-house as the watermark, for me at least. It all comes down to how "real" your card appears to be: could/would Blizzard print something like this? Blizzard cares about their watermark continuity and making sure their cards are 100% perfect, so you should too. It's the sign of a polished product, and I personally do take it seriously.
congrats to all of the finalists im bummed that my card wasnt one of them but i do belive the battlecry was kinda lopsided anyways
i had a few cards that i liked that are here mainly the medivh because that was the only medivh card and it was one of the few prime cards and even though the base card reminded me of Kanrethad Ebonlocke the prime form was very uniuqe to set itself apart from the others
Yeah, sorry to sound like a broken record, but I really dislike typos. If you want, I can help you proofread and fix up grammar and stuff, but I automatically dock a star or 2 for grammar reasons. Which dropped yours from a 3-star to a 2 imo

...
Edit: here was my card in case you were wondering
The Battlecry is strong, but not a deal-breaker. For me personally what did you in was the formatting mistakes:
"Restore" needs to be capitalized, and needs a space in-between the word and the colon that preceded it.
"Health" and "Dragons" need to be capitalized.
You need a period after "hand".
You need "Hero Power" in bold above "Restore 5 Health," and a period at end. Also don't know why it costs 3.
It hurts your card when there are a lot of mistakes on it, but a proofread can help with that. If you're not sure it's right, you can always bother the lot of us to assist you :)

Edit: here was my card in case you were wondering
For me personally, the bad rating I gave all came down to the typos. I grade typos very heavily, probably more so than other people. I dock a star for each typo I find. Which in this case ended up with the card receiving 1 star from me. Here's the typos I removed a star for for your reference.
No space in between the colon and "restore".
"restore" should be capitalized.
"health" should be capitalized.
"dragons" should be capitalized.
Missing period at the end of the sentence on hero card.
"health" in hero power should be capitalized.
Missing period at the end of the sentence on the hero power.
Those typos brought you down to a 1 star because I don't give anything under a 1 star. Without the typos, I probably would have given this 4 stars. Maybe 3 because I feel the hero power is a little bland.
Good luck to all the finalists! Really disappointed I didn't make it (again lmao, maybe this stuff isn't for me), but I really like all the cards that made it! My favourite is probably Medivh Prime.
Micro Mummy is probably a good replacement (that's a card I don't have). Or Aldor Peacekeeper which I tried and just didn't make the cut. Another option is a 2nd Lightforged Crusader because you maybe need a bit more draw because you're missing the 2 murlocs of the weapon.
Underlight Angling Rod isn't that important. I only got one but I wouldn't use the 2nd one if i pack it. There are enough weapons in the deck already.
What would you replace Underlight Angling Rod with? I don't have one, and I'm not tempted to craft it (saving my resources for a different deck, plus I hate Murlocs). I have everything else.
I would think the best way to counter elusives to use Challenger, Frostbite, and Stun units. Don’t focus on killing them as much as making them obsolete.
Every week I think about crafting Highlander Hunter or Highlander Mage, and every week I don't do it...I guess that's a good thing because they're not super dominant, but still would be nice if a deck I liked did well *cries Libram Paladin tears*
Libram Paladin is of course not a tier 1 deck but it surely isn't a bad as everyone says it is! There are a lot of bad versions out there with a very low winrate but you should try this one: https://outof.cards/hearthstone/decks/15459-tempo-libram.
Less controlly (and less bad card drawing cards) compared to the first pure paladin librams but more tempo/midrangy which works a lot better! The card draw isn't a problem either. I haven't lost a single game against an enrage warrior and it's good against Demon Hunter too. Rogue and Priest are more difficult matchups but every game seems winable and the deck surely is fun to play!

I'm not saying he needs a nerf, or that he's OP, or anything like that. But he is awfully annoying. :P
What champs do you find very annoying even if they aren't actually broken.
