congrats to all of the finalists im bummed that my card wasnt one of them but i do belive the battlecry was kinda lopsided anyways
i had a few cards that i liked that are here mainly the medivh because that was the only medivh card and it was one of the few prime cards and even though the base card reminded me of Kanrethad Ebonlocke the prime form was very uniuqe to set itself apart from the others
Every week I think about crafting Highlander Hunter or Highlander Mage, and every week I don't do it...I guess that's a good thing because they're not super dominant, but still would be nice if a deck I liked did well *cries Libram Paladin tears*
Well, congrats to the finalists. My two favorites are Beast Tamer Hemet because it looks very interesting and fun, and also Medivh the Cursed because of the incredible story telling.
I would like to ask (again) for more feedback on my card; what you voted and why, and what were the main strong and weak points on my card.
True, and the devs make and scrap lots of cool designs. Without their tools to test cards in real game settings we mere mortals can only guess at how good cards will be in practice, and we all know how bad the community often is with that!
My best envisionment of The Rift is that you could run it as a "safeguard" package. All you need to complete the Quest are two Fire Flys and two Igneous Elementals (10 total Elementals if you count each of the 1/2 tokens), and the Quest itself, and then slot it into any deck. Because all three of these cards are odd-Cost, you could also run this package in any Odd deck you make with the class.
What I haven't worked out about The Rift is why you would want to play it in the first place. It seems a lot of work (alongside the cost of having a quest effectively reduce your opening hand size) just to have a second shot at winning a game, especially as your opponent learns as much about what you are playing and drawing as you do about them.
Perhaps I'm missing some great use for it but it looks like an extremely frustrating card to play against without offering any real advantage to the person playing it.
Priest has the distinction of getting the only Galakrond that doesn’t necessarily need the support cards, experiment without them since 7 mana kill a rando gain 5 life and get infinite value is still an okay pla
I welcome suggestions! I actually ran into someone on ladder playing Roffle's aggro version and realized that I should just include Mana Tide Totem+Totemic Reflection to replicate Far Sight's card draw while giving the deck more pressure/combos with strong totems on board (I added the suggestion in the substitutions section about an hour ago).
Question about the themes for each competition: How do we pick the theme? Does it get chosen by the community or the OutOfCards staff? I wanted to suggest a Darkmoon Faire themed competition seeing that many people believe the last expansion of the year will have to do with the Darkmoon Faire (due to the resembling teaser and the Faire reference in the Outlands Trailer)
Every winner gets to pick the theme for a competition. For example, I won the fifth competition, and the next day I got a PM asking for contest ideas. I sent in a couple different themes that I came up with, the staff debated them, and the seventh competition was the idea they thought was best out of the ones I pitched (in this case, Demons for classes other than Warlock and DH).

I agree! Made one adjustment in the decklist though; swapped a Far Sight for Master of Ceremonies. As Far Sight drew me more one cost cards then you'd want it to do.. And packed Master of Ceremonies during TGT, but never really got it to work. Till now! If you have the card, try it as well.
Frozen Soul: As it is you could rephrase the text to: Play this, win the game. If at all this effect would need to be attached to a quite high cost minion (to give the opponent at least the chance to remove this)
Frozen Soul is not a card that you play. It's the card that the Lich King plays against you in the KotFT solo adventure if you choose Time Traveler (just like Fallen Champions or The True Lich).
The Rift is also a Quest reward, so it still requires at least a little bit of work to get there.
I like this quite a lot especially flavor-wise. I could definitly see a "Chronomancer" class being added to HS. You actually seem to have sunk quite a lot of time into developing this (bad pun I know). :)
The area that could need some work is balancing. Quite a few of the cards seem outright wrong. I will just give two examples:
The Rift: Super unfun to play against. You lose? Just reset the game. This would probably be OP at 10 Mana. Nobody wants games that could last an hour or so. Should never be printed ihmo

This deck has been updated: For much better competitiveness make sure to remove Emperor Thaurissan and Doomcaller and put in two Fencing Coaches, they let you double your [Hearthstone Card (C’Thun) Not Found]’s damage on turn 10 and make the Shudderwock combo guaranteed infinite the first time you play it and all the other times, because Shudderwock will replay its battlecry.

Congrats to those who made it to the final. Really happy to see 8 different characters make it as well.

Your wish has been granted. It does have a very different playstyle and win condition than other Deathrattle Rogues.
