Something that seems somewhat overlooked is the fact it has 5 Health, meaning it's a pretty beefy guy to take out. That gives him more appeal over just a aggro finisher as it has a chance to survive being slapped on an empty board on turn 4.
My favourite card of the whole set, but it's a shame it's not part of the basic Demon Hunter cards. It's quite likely the most iconic ability for the class.
If DH wants to HP on turn one to kill it they can go ahead and do it, it's not like we need it to stick around for anything in particular, and if they developd a minion instead we just trade.
At best we'd want to curve it into Fresh Scent, but in that case only one 1-mana beast won't be enough anyways (unless we run Hungry Crab)
So the new ladder system kicked off yesterday and there are a few interesting things about it to observe. Personally, my first surprise was when I received a multiplyer of x10 when I "only" finished on rank 2 in march - x10 was communicated to be distributed to players hitting legend. I haven't played more than 10 games yet, but I must say the new system feels very rewarding, especially if you manage to pull off a win streak. Cruising through those ranks, seeing more and more rewards getting added to your chest feels cool (not to mention the first time achievements).
Much more important seems to be this blog post, though:
One of the key infos is, that your multiplyer is determined EITHER by the rank you achieved the previous month OR your MMR, whichever is higher; now combine that with the statement that your MMR will only change slightly from month to month and you can conclude that you will keep a good multiplyer for a long time if you have a high MMR. On the other hand, having a low MMR but finishing in high ranks only gets you a bonus for the new month, no longtime benefits.
So if get this correctly, Blizzard has modelled the new ladder system to be beneficial for long time players (who should tend to have a higher MMR than new players) for once.
Anyway, my first impression is very good - at the start of the season everybody gets at least 2 times the profit from winning than the loss from losing a game and that just feels nice to me. What are your thoughts about the new system?
New Demon Hunter Minion - Kayn Sunfury

New Demon Hunter Spell - Spectral Sight
Great as a topdeck, but not amazing if you can't take advantage of the Outcast effect.
New Demon Hunter Spell - Immolation Aura
Will work great with Bloodmage Thalnos!
New Demon Hunter Minion - Netherwalker
Very useful when used with Fel Summoner to cheat out some big threats.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Ashtongue Battlelord
Sen'jin Shieldmasta but better, I like it. Amazing arena card.
New Demon Hunter Spell - Metamorphosis
Useful as a 2 turn nuke for aggro or as a flexible removal for control. All around amazing card.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Fel Summoner
A must-have in any big Demon deck.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Furious Felfin
Best part about this card is the art, honestly!
New Demon Hunter Spell - Skull of Gul'dan
Very powerful tool to end games as a more aggressive type of deck.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Imprisoned Antaen
Bit slow for aggro decks, but definetly good in midrange or control-ish ones.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Priestess of Fury
Seems like an awesome counter to token decks.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Coilfang Warlord
Seems versatile, and probably amazing for arena.
New Demon Hunter Weapon - Warglaives of Azzinoth
Should have been a legendary card instead!
New Demon Hunter Minion - Pit Commander
A very good enabler for a big Demon deck archetype.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Kayn Sunfury
Face is the place!
New Demon Hunter Spell - Metamorphosis
My favourite card of the whole set, but it's a shame it's not part of the basic Demon Hunter cards. It's quite likely the most iconic ability for the class.
Our Thoughts on Hearthstone's Ashes of Outland Hunter Cards
unlikely
Dragon Hunter loses nothing and punishes Demon Hunter for taking too much face damage
Face Hunter goes even harder and won't have to worry about Zilliax anymore
Our Thoughts on Hearthstone's Ashes of Outland Hunter Cards
I think Pally is even better than it looks, just because it has access to reliable healing, which is one of the few counters to Demon Hunter

I wil only find peace when hunter is out of the meta.

One of the best does not mean "the best".
I think DH and Paladin are superior and Rogue is evenly matched.
God I really hope Paladin will be as good as it looks on paper. Please RNGesus.

Our Thoughts on Hearthstone's Ashes of Outland Hunter Cards
I think Paladin is better. They got pretty much no bad cards, everything is objectively powerful

I don't see the problem with Helboar.
