  • Hearthstone Wild Card Unnerfs Revealed - Yogg-Saron, Raza and More!

The Emerald Spellstone unnerf feels even stranger when you notice that the main deck it would see play in was even hunter, which now cannot run this in the deck. Not to be a naysayer but a lot of these nerfs feel more like tossing people a bone than "lets shake up the wild meta". Call of the Wild still is not going to see play, Yogg has so many spells now that he is not strong whatsoever,  Spiteful Summoner can be strong but at the same time Wild has a lot more ways of dealing with a single large minion, and even Raza probably is too slow to make a large impact on the meta.

That aside, these unnerfs have all been really fun so far to play with, although I would not say it is very competitive.

  • New Neutral Minion - Teron Gorefiend

    Pro

Favorite card of the set so far. It's finally time to craft Umbra. And boy, that would be an awesome golden legendary to pull from the preorder!

There will be other solo content about the battle against the Rusted Legion, an organization led by Mecha-Jaraxxus.

  • Demon Hunters will Eventually Receive Cards in the Classic Hearthstone Set

I'd be a lot more excited about all of this amazing Hearthstone news if the state of the world wasn't so stuck on my mind. Looking forward to all reveal season has to offer and hopefully it will be a good distraction while we all hunker down for the foreseeable future.

  • Everything You Need to Know About the Demon Hunter Initiate Set

Do we know what the other wings will give? Cards for the other clases like in Galakrond's Awakening? Or is it just packs/one legendary like Zayle the discount Whizbang?

  • Introducing the Hearthstone Battlegrounds Tavern Pass - New Emotes, Choose From Four Heroes, Advanced Stats

I, for one, am glad that they found a way to monetize this, which means they have an incentive to continually invest in and improve Battlegrounds. 2500 gold is not that difficult to accumulate - I usually earn three times that amount each expansion cycle just from quests.

  • Ranked Play in Hearthstone Drops Ranked Numbers, Moves to Tiers

I'm prette sure everyone starts out even (so with no star multiplier) when the change hits in April. This way the veterans have a chance to feel the pain of grinding at lower ranks for one time.

    I could be wrong tho.

  • Demon Hunters will Eventually Receive Cards in the Classic Hearthstone Set

    Totally agreed

  • Metamorphosis

What exactly does swap back mean? If the Hero Power is upgraded (whether by Justicar Trueheart or Baku the Mooneater, which could both be relevant to DH), it'd be pretty important whether it comes back to the default or to the upgraded form. Also in consideration for Hero cards and anything else that changes them.

  • Hearthstone Battlegrounds Update March 17th - New Heroes In, Old Heroes Out, Minion Updates

  • Demon Hunter Legendary with Charge Can Ignore Taunt?

Hey, just browsing some of the articles on PCGamer, and one sentence kinda caught my eye that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere else yet. They say something about a new Demon Hunter Legendary that has charge and can ignore taunt minions. It's mentioned in the section on Leroy if you want to check it out.

Yogg doesnt work for me. He killed himself with Darkest Hour and then it stopped

  • Introducing the Hearthstone Battlegrounds Tavern Pass - New Emotes, Choose From Four Heroes, Advanced Stats

Monetizing games is a weird business. By the most basic metric, this makes the expansion Megabundle very attractive. 20$ Battlepass, new hero, 90 packs (and matching the 50$ order, a golden legendary and a cardback)... Wow! Great value!

There's such a disparity between the work and materials and the pricing, though, that this doesn't mean much. Really, the Battlepass is probably priced highly to encourage players to buy the 80$ bundle - to make it seem worth it. They've added the additional golden legendary back into the 50$ purchase, which supports that theory. They must feel confidently enough about projected purchase amounts to do so.

If you evaluate the bundles based on what you're likely to get, rather than by price, the Megabundle looks less enticing for non-competitive Battlegrounds players. You can play Battlegrounds casually just fine with two heroes, and the emotes and stats are meaningless. A few Arena runs aren't worth much. The hero has an odd voice, and there are plenty of Shaman heroes around already, so that's a wash unless you've got a snake fetish (sorry, Harrison Jones). The real draw, as always, is the packs. But it's worthwhile to note - with new pack opening rules, the 55 packs from the smaller bundle will be the best value they've ever been. If your goal is to get all of the set's rares and commons, look no further.

Do you mind sharing the link to the official post re: copy protection?

Additionally, when does the protection take effect?

Is it when you get the pack or when you open the pack?

For example, if I get the classic pack in this week's brawl and open it post release, will it be protected?

  • WILD PLAYERS ARISE !

Out of the 6 so far, it’s really only Yogg and Call of the Wild I’m interested in. Not entirely sure if Call of the Wild’s gonna be good enough to see play, given how long it’s been.

Don’t see any reason Yogg wouldn’t see some play though, plenty of decks run enough spells to probably be worth it as a last ditch, like he used to be

  • New Druid Spell - Fungal Fortunes

Book of Specters but in reverse!  And for Druid.

  • Goodbye Leeroy Jenkins - Hearthstone Announces the 5 Cards Rotating to the Hall of Fame for 2020

In this case you would do nothing since you'd get 800 dust for owning two regular Mountain Giants anyway. There is no point in crafting the goldens if you're just going to dust them. You end up with 800 profit either way.

Iksar: Good card, but a bit tad overdone. Murlocs have more flavor on being Magnetic to Mechs, I'll give you that.

linkblade: Both look pretty great, but Living Forge does have a more unique effect, you don't see Windfury used much nowadays. It does look balanced in retrospect, specially shines on Mech Hunter decks, which did need a little bit more omph.

Hordaki: Go with Mechadrake on this one. Curator does seem a bit forced imo, and highrolly in that regard. Say, wonder if 8 mana would be pushing it too much? Just has 2 more attack and 2 less Health in comparision to Mosh'Ogg Enforcer

Xarkkal:  Stronk, but not dat strong. Looks fine, but the art should be more focused on the Beast instead of 50/50.

Dermonstatic: Love it!! I'm not sure balance is on-point but its a neaty pretty idea. Goes a little nuts in Wild but I think it's fine, it does not really have much place in lategame but it does in Tempo and mid-game.

Wailor: Dragonfang Totem is my favorite, Tides is also great, but I feel you should go for the Totem.

Demonxz95: Looks cute, but other than that its not really impressive, maybe a more Legendary-worthy effect?

KANSAS: Again, I like it, but effect's been overdone too unfortunately.

Got a few ideas under my belt for this competition and finally i made them in a healthy amount of time

Really wish you posted that like... 15 minutes earlier than you posted it. :(

Out of these, I think Astral Spiritbreather is the most "finalized" of the bunch I feel. The other two feel a little bit more awkward in design.

Is the prologue campaign the only pve content or we get usual adventure later?

  • WILD PLAYERS ARISE !

    Quote From RavenSunHS

You are deluding yourself if you think the Wild meta will change significantly with these unnerfs. At least not at competitive ranks (or leagues).

Raza Priest may appear more often and be viable or even good, CW and Kingsbane might be viable, but that will be it.

Meta tiers and population will stay mostly the same.

Sure some unnerfed cards are cool, but then Wild is plenty of cool cards if one doesn't care about winrate...

I'm not asking or worrying about the wild meta though !  I know it's gonna stay that secret mage / aggro / mecha'thun warlock meta for the most part.

what I'm asking is who's HYPED and who's looking forward to play or play against revived decks, don't you love when you win against a top wild meta deck with fun decks, isnt a game about having fun anyways ?

the best part is when you face another fun deck with your fun deck, THen things gets very interesting and you add your opponent and all is happy (:

And an other crazy good 1 drop ...
    History repeat itself

This is far from crazy. 2/1 for one mana will die to ANY damage and +1 damage to hero will kill only 1 health minions while damaging your hero.

Maybe I am mistaken, or maybe I'm worried that not every classes can consistently remove it before it snowballs.
Could be wrong, I mean, I've never played Demon Hunter, but aggressive one drops tend to see play.
