Scalelord might bring back Murloc Paladin, with or without Tip the Scales. It gives those Murloc boards some serious staying power. It's also a pretty threatening body on its own.
Murloc Dragon is a total meme, but Scalelord could be a good enough pure Murloc support.
On average, the "real" meta tier list is established at Legend. The further you are, the more it takes to "your" meta to adopt new competitive decklists and therefore to shift in that direction.
The meta at rank 15 may differ a bit from the one at rank 2, but it won't be a completely different thing. Therefore, if a deck is doing well in the upper ranks, it will also do well in the lower ones because (let's put it this way) you're simply anticipating what is going to be good.
Rotnest Drake - will be a staple in Highlander Dragon Hunter, which is already quite successful
Aeon Reaver - Dragon Priest is not a thing now and I don't think it will be even with this card; it good though
Scalelord - it screams meme, but I want to believe that it will make Dragon Murloc Paladin tier 2
Sky Gen'ral Kragg - Tier 1 card, premium taunt + removal; will make Quest Hunter even stronger and help Mage, maybe Quest Druid (not sure about this one) and maybe some sort of aggro Paladin with Righteous Cause
Waxmancy - Rogue is already good and it's more of a meme card (you wouldn't cut any of the currently used cards for this one)
Chopshop Copter - You want your mechs to go face, not to trade
True, but I hope that as more animations are sped up, the ones that are still slow are going to stand out and will be addressed as well. Also for new cards, they might make them quick from the start, just in case they will be included in Battlegrounds at some point.
Seeing as you think that elusive and challenger minions are the only options, I can see why you think that, but you're ignoring LOTS of other counters Riot put into the game, and don't understand how to counter them (as are the people that upvoted your post).
The following spells can kill Greenglade Duo, even when buffed:
Thermogenic Beam
Black Spear
Mystic Shot
Purify
Single Combat
Culling Strike
En Garde
Get Excited
Noxian Guillotine
Whirling Death
Avalanche
Detain
Grasp of the Undying
Atrocity
Vengeance
Frost kill effects
Judgement
The Ruination
With elusive options, challengers and the above cards, you CAN deal with elusives. Put some in your deck
No one is arguing that they cannot be killed or countered. But most decks don't have room to include enough counters to deal with the sheer volume of elusives in the elusive deck. To do so would make it impossible to perform the main function of the archetype you're trying to build.
After more play time in the elusive meta, I'm pretty sure Riot will have to raise the mana cost of elusive across the board at the very least.
I'm easily maxing the vault for the second week in a row.
If anything? Runeterra's model is too generous.
I'm curious: how many hours would you say this took you? I would admit I'm finding it hard to miss the 13k XP limit for Level 10, but max vault is almost double this (25k). I'm finding myself in the 17-21 range for the second week in a row spending ~10-15 hours in-game
They didn't say a new game... just a different game. Given their experience with roguelike games... might they be helping with the new roguelike content in wow shadowlands?
i guess we found the braum emoter when things go his way. thoroughly explains why emote isnt bad and defends it with his life. yeah im not surprised if you are that kind of guy that doesnt use the emotes as a way to acknowledge your opponent but rather to upset him
Sorry to see you prefer ad hominem attacks over actual logic. You must get super-triggered by the Heimerdinger emote.
i dont actually. i like it a lot. most ppl so far only used it to express that im taking too long to make my play. which makes sense they emote that im thinking a lot so its cool even tho they are like:"cmon man make ur play im dying here"; while im like: "chill man, genius at work here no need to complain, ur aggro deck can wait"
That's actually pretty fucking toxic from their point of view, but hey, feel free to act like you're emoting "correctly."
Until then I was also testing what works well and how the meta looks. It's even possible that Braum won't make the cut since he didn't perform very well in the deck...
Braum really needs a damage buff to shine; otherwise he's a nonfactor until he flips. You might want to consider adding Brothers' Bond: unlike most of your other combat tricks, its permanent.
Oh, it does? I wasn't even aware since I got used to using my desktop clock. Good on Blizzard, then. I know they've had an in-game clock for Diablo 3 for a long time, so it makes sense they would've implemented it in Hearthstone (But seriously, still no borderless window mode after several years?).
I'm with you there. It always bothered me that Hearthstone didn't have a borderless-window video mode, but in hindsight, this led me to play it windowed and thus always have my computer's clock in sight. Of course, an (optional) in-game clock would be the ideal solution.
But, Hearthstone does have an ingame clock. It's on the down left corner, near your friends list.
I don't think Meeting of Minds is too complicated. My comparison point is always the most complicated Basic card - Animal Companion. A new player has no way of knowing what an Animal Companion is or how many of them there are before playing the card - conversely, you always know the size of your opponent's hand, and I think seeing the full hand is much easier to grasp than seeing only part of it.
I wavered between Mass Hysteria and Lightbomb for a long time. I definitely don't think either card is too strong to include in Priest's Core Set - look at Brawl. Should Priest, whose identity I'm basing around board control, not have a comparably powerful board clear? I could absolutely see Lightbomb instead, but Mass Hysteria won out for being the cheaper card, and thus more directly comparable to both Brawl and Holy Nova.
I think Lifesteal should be in the Classic set. I'd also put Rush there too, and I could probably be persuaded on some of the weaker Discover cards like [Hearthstone Card (Jeweled Beetle) Not Found]. We've already seen Rogue get an additional Poisonous card - a Basic card, even - and if I were to redesign other classes I'd include those other keywords. Warsong Commander is begging for her old effect but with Rush instead of Charge.
I don't see Alonsus Faol as too out of place. Since your game plan is to win the board - at least with the Core Set - having a card which lets you trade favourably and then return to full Health, potentially multiple times, is game-ending. At least as much as something like Tirion Fordring. If Faol isn't removed quickly, you will win. That it doesn't kill the opponent immediately doesn't mean it isn't a huge swing in your favour if played right.

Well, about the two quests ... that was a brain fart on my part :)

2020 Beast Hunter
Unfortunatly this deck does not work...
It can't beat Rogues and Druids (both embiggen and quest)...
And it's not that good against warlocks or mages...
so there's no way to play beasts in this meta...

Excuse me, is this article quite relevant for below rank 5? Or possibly there is an entirely different meta down there?
