  • Some Advices for 1st Day and Week of Open Beta

    Quote From Kinxil

Thanks for the tips, I do have a couple questions.

Shouldn't we level regions to 7 instead ? The champ reward seems to be at this level (I did get Yasuo but it was on an epic loot so dunno).

Also, is there a way to disenchant cards or it's not permitted ? I usually focus on a narrow set of classes (here regions) but I'll be unable to do such a thing if I can't scrap the cards I'll not play :<. This can come awkward if your favorite tailored deck is nerfed (wanted to try Karma Braum first but the nerfs...).

Yeah, When I wrote this the game was not active so I wrote it how I remember, It should be exactly the 8th level. I've corrected in the OP. Thanks for warning. :)

Also, There is no disenchanting in the game but it seems we won't need it, I mean, I'm already maxed my Weekly Vault in two days. I don't know but it really seems quite reachable so quick to complete set in my opinion.

  • Legends of Runeterra Meta Decks - The Best Runeterra Community Decks

Yeah, Rhasa the Sunderer is one of the greatest cards of the set but unfortunately it doesn't help if some big threats like Tryndamere hits the board. What I mean is, The deck's aim is killing the opponent as soon as possible so you don't need him so much times but yes he can be added the deck :)

For Ravenous Butcher, You are completely right but for adding it, I need to give up LuicanBADCARDNAME Package with Senna, well, that's not what i want :) 3x Ravenous Butcher + 2x Rhasa the Sunderer + 1x more Crawling Sensation might be replaced with x3 Senna, Sentinel of Light and x3 Lucian. :)

  • Legendary Reno DK Mage

Just popping in to say thanks for the time and effort you put into this guide, so far the most complete that i saw here on outofcards.

    Will try the deck soon!

  • Standard is awful right now

Come to wild then. the variety is amazing.

yea if your idea of variety is reno mage, secret mage or handbuff mech paladin

If you're only focused on ladder climbing and trying to reach legend in Wild, yes there will be a handful of really strong decks you're going to find again and again.  Especially as you climb higher.  At lower ranks you're still going to encounter a lot of those same powerful decks, and even some of the weaker decks will appear more often than some of the really off the wall crap, but overall a much broader variety than Standard.  Which is of course natural given the much higher amount of available cards.

  • no xp bug?

So while I was playing Rather I win or lose Im getting 0 xp. im assuming tis a bug, ifits not thats kinda dumb.

  • Another happy first time FTP legend

Pretty self-centred of me to make a thread about this, but needed to share my joy with this awesome community.

After playing for almost 2 years, and never spending a dollar, I finally made it with quest Hunter! (dekkster list with hyena replacing halazzi)

Have gone 51-30 (62% WR) and not a single mirror! Closest was a highlander hunter quest build. Meta breaker? Haha

Have taken some screenshots on my phone but can't figure out how to upload them sorry!

  • Suggesion: 2v2s or even 3v3s

Maybe there would be more health per nexus, but I'm sure there's a lot more having 6 players at one time would bring to the game.

  • [Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)

To be clearer, "ready" isn't a very important word. It was more just a great rhyme for yeti.

  • Standard is awful right now

  • [Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)

  • New Druid Minion - Steel Beetle

Decent armor gain for druid, so much like a warrior card

  • Is the starter pack worthwhile?

    Hello all

Is the Starter pack worth buying?

  • Beta Testers were given nothing and stripped of their progress

I love the game, having more cards than another player shouldnt be a jumpstart everyone should be able to build atleast 1 deck with the tools from the beginning but now i have to play with cards im not interested in and forced to grind in order to get anything done. More cards isnt an advantage if everyone is able to build a deck they enjoy from the get go

  • Mur-nado

    Strange card

  • unreleased are discoverable

My 24 health Winged Guardian got sniped by a Discovered Rotnest Drake.

    ...I'm not happy right now.

  • Catastrophe

it's simple, I play barnes and summon the blood of the ancient one

  • unreleased are discoverable

Guess they are consistently inconsistent, which is consistent.
I have no further comment on the matter

  • whos good idea was it to make those puff cards

no you dont like the mechanic but deffintly not unhealty dont know if you play hearthstone
but if not there are some thing unhealty but this its just a fun mechanic not op not broken and for sure not unhealty
But i do understand that you dont like it
I mean Teemo is one of most annoying champ in league with his ult XD

  • [Region] notices your commitment ...

Do you get any sort of bonus to the starting region that notices you after the prologue rewards are finished or is it just the one you get from using most of their cards??

  • Beta Testers were given nothing and stripped of their progress

Ehm, you are on equal grounds with everyone else. You do realize that early beta was accessible only to selected number of ppl, right? Do you think it would be fair to have a jump start over others, especially when you were given MANY things for free to test out the product?

I think you are being pretty entitled here. If you enjoy the game, id say you will pretty soon have enough to craft any deck you want, so i wouldnt worry about it. Just play and have fun ;-)

  • Noob incoming !

    - Can you expect to build a full deck within reasonable playtime ? I usually play 2 class at most in a CCG (since LoR is "dual classes" with regions I expect to play from 3 to 4 of them). I'd prolly be satisfied with 2 serious deck and 3-4 meme decks.

"Reasonable" and "serious" are relative terms, but I'll hazard to answer regardless: Yes, but probably not the specific decks you originally wanted to play.  E.g.: you ask about Karma, but unless you get very lucky with your rewards it will probably be a lot of playtime and consumables to make the proper deck around her.  Jinx is a slightly different story, since you'll get 2 of her and a lot of support in your starter decks.  Long story short: if you tailor your plans around what cards you randomly open, you'll get much better mileage than if you try to force a specific champion/decklist.

  • Random champion card removed from level 10+ Vaults

I wasn't in the closed beta, but I did spend last night playing and I'm in a similar frame of mind as you (been playing HS almost daily since Boomsday, F2P except for buying the adventures, curious-yet-reluctant to explore other games), so maybe you'll find my opinions useful.

I will admit that ~3 hours in with $0 spent, I am disappointed that I haven't been getting the cards I originally wanted.  I envisioned fielding a ephemeral deck, and I can see how many cards I'm short now and it's not even close.  That said: its somewhat apples and oranges.  Whereas in HS it is EXTREMELY painful when you're fielding weak decks, I've been perfectly happy playing the starter decks in LoR so far.  Granted, that might change as the meta matures and other players unlock more cards, but it seems fine now.  Also: I HAVE been gaining cards, they just weren't the ones I originally wanted--and unlike in HS, there aren't a lot of "pack filler"; the cards are consequential I just haven't figured out what to do with them yet.  Finally: whereas HS gives most rewards for constructed play, LoR gives most rewards for draft play, so you don't get that "feed the beast" loop of being stuck at low ladder because your decks are weak, but your decks are weak because you're stuck at low ladder.  Success in LoR just doesn't seem to depend on the size of your collection like it does in HS.

Long story short: if you're happy with HS it probably won't replace HS, but if you're looking for something in addition to spend your time gaming I'd say this is at least worth checking out.  What do you have to lose?

  • Beta Testers were given nothing and stripped of their progress

Ya know i could forgive not getting any bonus stuff for being in the open beta last year, but the fact that all progress was robbed from us is pretty ridiculous I have to go through the tutorial and the early rewards and get a loooot less wildcards than from the beta. The idea of this game from what i remember was in order to make a very accessible card game where i could play any deck i want but now im sitting here grinding the prebuilt jinx and zed deck in order to get my cool decks back. Really dumb.
