Grand Melee: December 27 - 30
There are no special deckbuilding rules for the Grand Melee. Players battle with their best constructed decks available until they achieve either nine wins or three losses. Entry into the Grand Melee costs six (6) Event Tickets or 1,000 Gold, up to three maximum runs allowed.
For this Grand Melee, all participants will recieve non-premium Gray Fox card back. This card back will be awarded to all entrants regardless of win count.
The top 1,000 players on the leaderboard at the end of the event will also receive a bonus reward: a premium Cadwell card back!
The Grand Melee begins Friday, December 27 at 12pm ET and closes at 12pm ET on Monday, December 30. Events in The Elder Scrolls: Legends change regularly, so check in often to see what new challenges await!
It's down to matchups, I think. My suspicion is that the deck was coming in at the tail end of the Shaman meta where aggro was everywhere - this deck is very strong into aggro.
The meta is starting to shift towards slower strategies now, though, which is going to hurt winrates. Though I do find it performs well into highlander rogue &c.
I tried the Nozdormu + Ysera Unleashed combo, where you could skip your opponent's turn by having the dream portal animations use all their time.
Wait, how does that work? Do you play Ysera unleashed and then hope your opponent plays nozdormu? Or do you try and get both Nozdormu and Ysera off of random effects and then do some weird something or other with Treachery as a warlock? Or . . .?
Nah you dicount either Ysera or NOz with Dreampetal, have an Innervate ready and then play them when your deck is empty. Then you wait until the rope is almost done and play Excess Mana that you got from Wild Growth at 10 mana. The ensuing 9 portals will skip your opponent's turn.
I'd be wary of doing that. Intentionally abusing animation issues like that is a surefire way to get the ban hammer from Blizz.
As for the OP, that is one of the stranger bugs I've heard of.
nah, this has been around forever and blizzard never bothered to fix it. It's not a bug, it's a feature at this point and tehy can't punish me for something they put in the game in the first place.

my text now is kind of tame - only has lifesteal & charge, whereas Zilliax also has magnetic and divine shield?
I was a useful ally in my day, - this has me really stumped so idk here. Have been thinking this was referencing an "Ongoing Effect" card like Timber Wolf or Sorcerer's Apprentice but none of those really seem to fit the other clues?

Whenever I make a new deck I always test it first against the expert innkeeper (specifically Shaman). I basically use that to get a "feel" of the deck and make sure it works as intended (e.g. Is there enough draw? Are there enough early-game minions? Does the combo work? Do any cards stand out as really strong or too situational? Does the deck have enough top end? Etc.). After I've done this I'll take it onto ladder for proper testing and refining, but I like the innkeeper as a low-stakes first test.
