Quote From Kibler
Hit Legend playing Quest Priest with a respectable 66% winrate over 32 games. Deck is *very* strong vs Face Hunter/Pirate War style decks since you're loaded up with healing and can compete with Rogue/Shaman too. 2x Mass Dispel was a major inclusion IMO to shut down Rogues.

This is looking pretty good! I personally swapped a Khartut Defender for a Bad Luck Albatross.

I've played this one a fair bit at this point. Personally not a fan, but mostly down to my own taste - it doesn't really have a win condition as such, just hopes to stick something on board to be snowballed. Anything that doesn't just punch itself out will have the tools to deal with the (wholly defensive) mass-res boards anyway. That's not to say it doesn't win games - the issue is it just takes forever and never really feels like it's doing anything special in the process.

Oh, and re: some of the people talking about other cards - almost all of the things you've said you'd tech in make the deck actively weaker by weakening the Mass Res pool you're relying on. Albatross and Arcane Dynamo in particular. Whitemane is a decent shout, otherwise just stick to heal value like Damaged Stegotron.

Arcane Dynamo is a trade-off - get more rez and/or plague spells. In the recent N'zoth meta, it was essential with warlocks, priests and others who could do N'zoth a few times. Now? If there's a huge amount of mirror or control warrior gets back in vogue.

Also, a 3/4 tends to get ignored in the mass rez targets. People TEND TO FORGET YOU CAN BUFF IT TO 6/7. Which is better than getting Psychopomp back. And I did have a number of 9/10 Arcane Dynamos in the last meta.

Re: trade-off - well sure, but irrespective of meta there's unlikely to be any decks for the foreseeable future that could build greedily enough to make so many boards as to require that many board clears, while also lacking the tempo to severely punish such a slow turn. N'zoth is back in his vault, after all.

Re: the second paragraph - 'fraid I don't see that as a reasonable argument. Pretty much anything looks big when you make the assumption you'll get a +3/+3 on it, and any game plan which includes the words 'and hope my opponent doesn't remove it' tends toward failure.

At the end of the day, I struggle to believe this deck needs an additional discovered removal option (it definitely doesn't need another Mass Rez). There just isn't a deck in the meta that merits it - the closest you'll get is Highlander Mage, and that's more about frequent medium-sized boards rather than a few huge ones. And once you mentally align with the idea that the Dynamo is something you want rather than something necessary, then you have to stop and ask - do I want a 3/4 or a 5/12 in my resurrect pool?

after a few success I got several losses (I was level 3 dropped until level 5 no stars)

Dropped the deck, met a few of them and easily won ... cannot understand the 66% win rate

It's down to matchups, I think. My suspicion is that the deck was coming in at the tail end of the Shaman meta where aggro was everywhere - this deck is very strong into aggro.

The meta is starting to shift towards slower strategies now, though, which is going to hurt winrates. Though I do find it performs well into highlander rogue &c.

First, thanks to Kibler; may his real-life situation pass by smoothly.

Great deck, and yes, it shuts down hunter hilariously and gives the finger to the "priest is dead" crowd.

Alternate cards to consider (I drop Psychopomp and don't have a second Batterhead).

Shadow Madness: Great for stealing reborn/deathrattles (common in rogue, paladin, mirror matches; a good many deathrattles are 3-attack and under) or in a early pinch. Yes, warn the public that what you steal and its possible deathrattle can reappear in mass summon, so there's risk attached. Not like Psychopomp already has that problem :P

High Inquisitor Whitemane: Optional and situational; throw it in if you got it and are missing a card like me (And mine happens to be gold, so it's pretty to behold on use). But playing it after an opponent doesn't clear Zerek's Cloning Gallery or just manually sacrificing minions such as Convincing Infiltator or Khartut Defender or two can be demoralizing to an opponent. Can be like a third mass rez, with an extra big body to boot (and not a bad size one to get back on mass rez).

King Phaoris: Used in the past; not using this now. You got some really big spells in this deck, you know, and could have a glut in hand. If you think you need an offensive super move/panic button and don't care what shows up on Mass Rez, go ahead.

Arcane Dynamo: Not using this now, but if the meta gets slower, or there's a reason to need a three or more Mass Rez/Plague of Death, here's an option. No guarantee of course, but did well for me in the N'zoth version of this deck at the end of Saviors of Uldum era.

Hakkar, the Soulflayer: Like someone's mentioned albatross option, you can use this to ruin highlander decks, and this gives you a possible win if the game goes long enough. Throw in the new Wyrmrest Purifier as your late-game antidote, which gives you random priest spells and minions. It's risky and clunky to launch though, but nice if it comes up in Zerek's Cloning Gallery. Saved me against a paladin, hunter and rogue thinking they could use Zephrys, and destroyed a mirror priest, Galakrond rogue and shaman who forgot how many draw card battlecries he played when he busted out Shudderwock. Be mindful of silences and Sap before using, and don't let the opposing priest use Seance on the Purifier.

Hit legend twice with a similar list created by me when the quest came out...shame on kb to make it mainstream.

I tech in a pair of albatross to destroy highlander tho

Edit: the "shame on kb" part was not to be taken srsly...i just hate to play mirror with this deck

Ah, and here I was hoping standard's big priest wouldn't be resurrected in DoD. Oh well, time to queue up some greedy highlander mage again I guess.

Why the Archmage ? there is just a small pool of useful repeatable spells ...

actually the real difference vs the past is the unique DoD card that help to survive against aggro decks

BTW ... very good success with this deck. The ladder is full of Pirate Warriors, SMorc Hunters and Zoolock and all have very little chance to win against this priest - tks for the deck

This is very close to my favourite Priest deck I've been playing so I can't wait to take it a spin. GG Kibler!
