The effect is indeed powerful, but it looks pretty slow to me. It won't make the cut into big priest I think. I know someone will break this card and perform some ridiculous combo with it, so I'm looking forward to it.
Mmmm.. This looks way slower than arcane giant and therefore probably won't make the cut in wild quest mage. Maybe in standard if cyclone mage can keep up with the absurd amount of sheer power this expansion brings.
0 cost cards have a tendency to be too good, but this card? Where does it fit? It looks midrangey to me, but is there any viable midrangey deck for priest? It might see play but is going to be very niche.
It feels really weird to be saying that a 1-mana 2/2 isn't stacking up well enough to make it in constructed, but here we are.
Well, we've had 1 mana 1/3 with strong upsides since the very beginning of Hearthstone. This has a similarly strong statline, but no extra effect, so I don't find it an outrageous indicator of power creep. Although power creep has happened this expansion, obviously.
Actually have to reevaluate this. Could be very useful in an Embiggen-big Beast/Dragon type of deck where you want to cheat out your big minions as to not get punished by the mana increase.
Summonin an 11/11 Oondasta from your deck that then summons another big beater from your hand doesn't sound so bad
I think she's just too slow and conditional (you either play 3+ spells, or nothing happens).
This deck aims exclusively at Tempo bursts or swings, while Chenvaala only provides Tempo.
This deck cannot fight toe-to-toe on Tempo with other Wild decks, and a Chenvaala turn means leaving the initiative to your opponent, despite building extra bodies.
You are better off with Flamewaker, Stargazer Luna, or simply playing spells towards Quest completion.
I think the main idea is that Tyrande was only available in a few countries, and the majority of people think that’s unfair. You might not, but blizzard doesn’t continue to function based on how 1 person feels.
im all for not bringing back old card backs and heroes, id rather Blizz put the effort into new card back so and heroes rather then cucking people by re-releasing other cosmetics marketed as exclusive, but I think it’s fair enough to give everyone a go at a cosmetic unfairly locked to certain countries like Tyrande was
This will be particularly annoying to remove with its statline. A staple for sure if pirate warrior is a ever a thing, which I hope not. God, I hate pirates with passion, almost as much as I hate murlocs. Good thing it doesn't take T5 two years to fix things anymore.
I guess this will be a staple in any standard pirate deck. In wild, I don't know, he existing list are pretty tight already. I'm not a big fan of pirate warrior : it was one of the most infuriating decks ever.
New Priest Spell - Grave Rune
The effect is indeed powerful, but it looks pretty slow to me. It won't make the cut into big priest I think. I know someone will break this card and perform some ridiculous combo with it, so I'm looking forward to it.
Troll Batrider
Bomb Lobber, model 2019. Great in arena, in constructed solid pick for budget decks becouse it works similar to Flanking Strike which saw ton of play.
New Shaman Minion - Nithogg
Balanced cards don't win you games in this meta.
New Shaman Minion - Nithogg
Just got this card and other shaman legendary from my packs lol but 1 was so legendary so hopefully nithogg is good and not 400 dust.
New Mage Minion - Mana Giant
Mmmm.. This looks way slower than arcane giant and therefore probably won't make the cut in wild quest mage. Maybe in standard if cyclone mage can keep up with the absurd amount of sheer power this expansion brings.
Hippogryph
Not hopeless against aggro, otherwise it has too low impact on game to see constructed play.
Elemental Allies
This is exactly the type of card I needed to revive my reno elemental mage. It's really powerful. In standard? Meh...
Evasive Feywing
Filler dragon, but stats are fine. I believe we will see him through dragon discoveries.
New Mage Minion - Violet Spellwing
Another pretty strong 1 drop. The amount of those this expansion is amazing. Cyclone mage and wild quest mage are going to love this.
Devoted Maniac
It invokes, but stats are horrible. Galakrond definitely has better invokers than this crap.
New Priest Spell - Whispers of EVIL
0 cost cards have a tendency to be too good, but this card? Where does it fit? It looks midrangey to me, but is there any viable midrangey deck for priest? It might see play but is going to be very niche.
New Questline & Login Rewards Coming for Descent of Dragons
I got this today
Grizzled Wizard
fo shizzle my Wizzle
Out of Cards Reviews - Descent of Dragons Final Reveal #2
Grizzled Wizard + old Sir Finley alone stills work though as a hero power destroyer, right?
If this actually works, I'm going to add this every game in wild format, high potential as cheapest and best disruption card.
New Neutral Minion - Blazing Battlemage
Well, we've had 1 mana 1/3 with strong upsides since the very beginning of Hearthstone. This has a similarly strong statline, but no extra effect, so I don't find it an outrageous indicator of power creep. Although power creep has happened this expansion, obviously.
New Druid Spell - Strength in Numbers
Actually have to reevaluate this. Could be very useful in an Embiggen-big Beast/Dragon type of deck where you want to cheat out your big minions as to not get punished by the mana increase.
Summonin an 11/11 Oondasta from your deck that then summons another big beater from your hand doesn't sound so bad
Out of Cards Reviews - Descent of Dragons Final Reveal #2
its sad that Grizzled Wizard is not good in standard :(
I think she's just too slow and conditional (you either play 3+ spells, or nothing happens).
Even Glacial Shard is a better Tempo swing than Chenvaala.
About Tyrande's coming back and The value Blizzard gives older players( WARNING: SALT THREAD ! )
I think the main idea is that Tyrande was only available in a few countries, and the majority of people think that’s unfair. You might not, but blizzard doesn’t continue to function based on how 1 person feels.

New Warrior Minion - Skybarge
This will be particularly annoying to remove with its statline. A staple for sure if pirate warrior is a ever a thing, which I hope not. God, I hate pirates with passion, almost as much as I hate murlocs. Good thing it doesn't take T5 two years to fix things anymore.
Chenvaala Mage
With the amount of elementals in this deck, why not run the other mage sidequest as well?
New Neutral Minion - Parachute Brigand
I guess this will be a staple in any standard pirate deck. In wild, I don't know, he existing list are pretty tight already. I'm not a big fan of pirate warrior : it was one of the most infuriating decks ever.
New Shaman Minion - Surging Tempest
Or a pre-nerf Mana Wyrm that dont stack and refresh each turns
this deck look amazing
but why without Chenvaala
New Shaman Minion - Corrupt Elementalist
Here comes trouble
Make it double
