  • New Shaman Spell - Dragon's Pack

Since its 5 mana, there is a good chance that you might have it activated by turn 5-6. This card is just insane and if it's not activated, it's a Feral Spirit for 2 more mana and without the overload which is ok.

  • Fiendish Rites

Not as hopeless as Dragonblight Cultist, but other classes have moch better Galakrond invokers. Warlock Galakrond is looking so far pretty screwed.

  • Galakrond, the Wretched

Random is not always the same. I like randomness in here. Priest galakrond doesnt feel that strong. This could make some troubles through standard and wild as well.

  • Galakrond, the Unspeakable

I really dont think the RNG is good in here, probably it will find its way into the T2 decks at least

  • Abyssal Summoner

Handlock will probably apprieciate this, but it does nothing special other than create big body on board. I believe that there are more interesting cards. Nevertheless solid stuff.

  • Galakrond, the Nightmare

Free cards? Free combos? Free ... amazing plays that force opponent to quickly concede. This is what we need. I love that.

  • New Rogue Spell - Candle Breath

I don't think that a rogue deck that runs a lot of dragons will work. This card might be a nice addition to a Waxadred deck, but in this case it strongly relies on drawing Waxadred early. I think rogue has access to enough card draw that is more consistent than this card.

    Quote From YourPrivateNightmare

Wild packs are good for those who care. I hope they have distinct disclaimers so new players won't be confused.

Also, it will be weird to see the 3 heroes leave and be replaced with just one. However, this makes me hopeful that new portraits will be added more frequently and that we'll be getting more classic lore characters, with the meme/expansion-themed characters being relegated to bundles and preorders (Vanessa vanCleef, let's go , Rogue needs some love)

They probably Finally realized how much money they could make from hero portraits and have just now made enough portraits to rotate through the shop. Hopefully they add other missed portraits for players who missed some of the pre-order exclusives

  • New Neutral Minion - Gyrocopter

Fairly weak I don't think it's going to proc the windfury too much and even if it does it will be dead. Semi nice filler that could work wonders in arena

  • Galakrond, the Unbreakable

Hand buffs went to another level but I am totally fine with that. Some nice combo potentials in here!

  • New Neutral Minion - Sathrovarr

He's great for combos, but also for value. Playing it on any big minion can be a big deal and we have yet to see how it'll work with the DoD stuff. My guess is it will see play possibly all the way until it rotates.

  • Galakrond, the Tempest

I am looking forward to play this card! Cancer is real! ♥

  • New Neutral Minion - Utgarde Grapplesniper

A cool card to use in a heavy dragon deck, but the potentail of summoning a dragon for your opponent makes it so it shouldn't see much competitive play.

  • New Neutral Minion - Evasive Wyrm

so it survives an attack is a dragon and can dodge spells well this is going to be insane this is going to be wonderful in control and aggro alike

  • Echo Mechanics Update - SN1P-SN4P, Sound the Bells! and Glinda Crowskin Refunds!

    Quote From Demonxz95

True, but I don't necessarily envision them doing the same for Reckless Experiment. The situation is a bit different.

If anything reverting the nerf to Reckless Experimenter would be more warranted than reverting Mountain Giant. Infinite SN1P-SN4P combos was literally the only reason Reckless Experimenter was nerfed. Now that infinite SN1P-SN4P is not possible there is no reason to leave Reckless Experimenter in its nerfed state.

  • New Hearthstone Currencies Coming to China - Arcane Orbs & Runestones

So a since "playing 3 games in any mode" is 60g quest, I suppose we can reasonably infer a 3:1 Orbs to Gold ratio. So the real question for me and (I expect) for all the F2P people out there: if you use orbs to buy packs, are those packs going to cost 300 orbs? More? Less? Truly I guess the question is: is this slapping a new veneer onto the existing economy (I doubt it), or is it going to be making the game cheaper/more expensive to play?

My guess based on what info you've got here: they'll keep the gold/orbs economy the same (amount rewarded for quests, etc./costs of packs, etc.), and offer better exchange rates for the runestones in expectation that people will spend more money on the currencies you can't actually acquire in-game. So right now it's what $50 for 40 packs - maybe it will only cost the equivalent of $45 in runestones for those same packs. When faced with what amounts to lower prices vs exact same grind rate, people might just spend a little money they might not have otherwise.

But as you said this is all conjecture so will be watching this to see how it shakes out once they officially announce.

    Quote From RavenSunHS

Hopefully, even more attention will be given to Wild thanks to some more players joining the ranks.

This would be the best incentive to do so. My question now is: How much MORE support is Wild going to get?

  • New Hearthstone Currencies Coming to China - Arcane Orbs & Runestones

I'm surprised and amazed that finally they're going to completly rework the obsolet economic system of HS. That was both unexpected and very nice.

  • New Mage Minion - Violet Spellwing

A great 1 drop that gives you a spell that hasn't started in your deck and it has elemental synergy (like the sidequest).

  • New Neutral Minion - Big Ol' Whelp

Chonk-lord that obtains a card works in most decks as a big lad plus draw its gonna be run a lot

  • Team EVIL or Team LOE

EVIL, let the bad guys win for once!

  • New Rogue Spell - Dragon's Hoard

This is an amazing arena card, but won't see play in competitive decks due to the lack of consistency.

  • Wild Packs Purchasable with Gold Next Week - Hearthstone's New In-Game Shop Info

Glad for the Updates and changes, but I've already got my Choice of Windrunner sisters, thank you.

  • New Neutral Minion - Bad Luck Albatross

So birds disable draws and mess up highlanders like new alex and all "good" classes this seems pretty crazy dead draws late game are always good.

  • New Neutral Minion - Dragonqueen Alexstrasza

Definitely an auto include in highlanders, literally why not?
Wild highlanders will get even crazier, I know I won't like it when they play this 5 times in one game.
