  • Handlock will probably apprieciate this, but it does nothing special other than create big body on board. I believe that there are more interesting cards. Nevertheless solid stuff.

  • Comparable to Astromancer but on the more consistent side in terms of the minion generated. Works well in handlock and especially with the new hand size legenedary. The taunt is nice as a defensive tool.

  • sounds good with immediate impact. hand warlock might very well be back this expansion if it finds the right tools for the earlygame. having cards in hand should not be a problem for warlock especially with the strong draw-tools it got from this expansion

  • So you could argue otherwise that you want to use this with Vladris, but I’d say is just as good without it, or if your too late to play it and you just need a Demon Equal to your Hand size. And you need at least 5 Cards to be effective enough to use it since you’ll gain at the very least a +1/+1. I can see Controlocks out there averaging around 8 cards when they played this card, so to them it’s a 6 mana 10/10 body for them. Yes, a 6 Mana 2/2 is Hhorrendouse, but it’s just forcing you to play Handlock or Controlock. Even mid-range lock from time to time as well. Hearthstone learned their lesson with its counterpart; Spiteful Summoner and Astromancer, so if Mage can do it, why not Warlock? I think 4 stars is reasonable enough, just becuase Astromancer was a 7 Mana 5/5, and for 1 less Mana, your losing -3/-3 in Stats, but gain a Demon Tribe that also has Taunt, and Warlocks are giving it enough praise as it is as well. Otherwise we would have been Critical with this card and say that it was Trash, or we would say that it’s just a later version of Twilight Drake.

  • looks good for warlock as this card massively benefits from the heropower. i am curious to see what tools warlock has to survive the early turns though and what the comeback mechanics in the new expansion will be except for the 2 mana lifesteal spell which for me already is a given

  • Will fit well into either control warlock or handlock as an option. Control warlock seems to get lots of tools this expansion

  • Excellent  card. It has synergy with Valdris Felgorge  and you'll summon a demon with fairly good stats. Bonkers for wild with  Bloodreaver Gul'dan. It also fits greatly in an Evenlock deck.

  • Obvious synergy with warlock legendary, only needs 5-6 cards in hand to be playable, and gets better with more. Seems good to me.

  • Very good card, I think. You only need 4 cards in hand to get decent value from it, but 11/11 taunt is possible with Valdris Felgorge. Wow.

  • Getting a 7/7 or 8/8 taunt on turn 6 would be pretty strong, right? I could imagine this seeing play, it allows handlock to put on pressure a little more consistently at least.
