So you could argue otherwise that you want to use this with Vladris, but I’d say is just as good without it, or if your too late to play it and you just need a Demon Equal to your Hand size. And you need at least 5 Cards to be effective enough to use it since you’ll gain at the very least a +1/+1. I can see Controlocks out there averaging around 8 cards when they played this card, so to them it’s a 6 mana 10/10 body for them. Yes, a 6 Mana 2/2 is Hhorrendouse, but it’s just forcing you to play Handlock or Controlock. Even mid-range lock from time to time as well. Hearthstone learned their lesson with its counterpart; Spiteful Summoner and Astromancer, so if Mage can do it, why not Warlock? I think 4 stars is reasonable enough, just becuase Astromancer was a 7 Mana 5/5, and for 1 less Mana, your losing -3/-3 in Stats, but gain a Demon Tribe that also has Taunt, and Warlocks are giving it enough praise as it is as well. Otherwise we would have been Critical with this card and say that it was Trash, or we would say that it’s just a later version of Twilight Drake.
Yeah for sure this is underestimated, at least in the current Standard. There are a lot less misses with this as a random 5 mana 5/5 version of something. In fact there are a lot of mediocre 7-10 cost legendaries that have awesome effects but just cost too much for what they are. Some other people have also noticed this, and that is what makes this card better than a number of the other transforming cards, and that is the pool of cards is transforming from. Yes, there are misses, but because the cost of this is always set, and not variable, and the stats are always set, and not variable, the only thing you need is 5 mana and decent outcome, and you have your value. Other shifting cards costs and effects swung, this only the bonus changes, the cost and stats stay the same giving it much more impact.
Again, dragon warlock seems to be actually viable. Sadly doesn’t work as well in arena because of conditioning but this is still amazing. 5/5 especially since it’s a dragon that helps add to the minion pool
Seems like a solid card for hunter, nice synergy with sidequest, too. Also draw in hunter is just good in general. The minion itself is only a shadowbolt. very good dire frenzy target
i always liked dragon mage and tried to make it works, this card is like the dream.
i think it will be good in a lot of mage decks that run a dragon package.
The strongest of them (probably the only that will work) would be highlander mage. For now that deck has this, new alex, old alex, kalecgos that you want already to run; you can add the 2/3 + 2 spell damage to add dragon synergy consistency. So if at least 2 other very good dragons will be printed i can already see the dragon package be there, and maybe just 1 more dragon will be enough, as the only card you have to be activated at all cost is Malygos itself so you don't have to go heavily dragon synergy.
The list of spell it let you discover are amazing, and these kind of effects gives more consisteny on decks like highlander mage.
Dragon Warlocks or Warlocks with a few dragons lying around are getting a better version fo Eviscerate of all things. Note that you don’t have to be a Dragon Warlock, as you can have a few legendary Dragons such as an Alexstrasza and a Ysera for example as Control Warlock and it could do the same amount of work as you wanted it to be. And same for someone like Zoo or Aggro Warlock.
Surprised by the low rating. Seems pretty good; it’s effectively a 3/1 (or better) and 2 1/1 imps for 3 mana. That presumes the invoke effect happens before the +attack effect, which may be wrong.
This card I'm sure is going to create some very disparate opinions. The card itself just as is on the surface is pretty bad. Its a 5/11 for 6 that is especially weak to AoE. There are other factors to consider though. Its a Dragon, its a Battlecry minion, and how game states generally play out. The Dragon part only matters somewhat, but it might be just good enough in the Dragon decks to see play. The Battlecry part matters even more, because of the quest and because of Shudderwok. Lastly we have the way games actually play out. If you're not just dead when you play this, its basically a 5/5 and 2 0/3 Taunt minions, because if you're opponent can't/doesn't deal with those eggs its going to get really out of hand. When you combine all those things, I think that card is better than it looks. Maybe not as completely game breaking as some of the other cards we've seen, but Shaman isn't a weak class atm either.
Powerfull but a turn 6or 7 card probably… But 4 mana draw 3 is already good, and if it comes with a stick Even better, but no sure ir Will ve played, Will depend exclusively on how good the invoke cards are
This is a big threat on board so long as Warlock has health but almost a dead card if it doesn’t. Unless there’s lots of support and healing cards for Warlock I don’t see this becoming a thing.
First of all, 12 hand size is insane, any warlock would want to run this because of life tap, second drawing 4 for 7 plus a 4/4 body is incredible as well, like sprint and then summoning a free 4/4. So many of these cards are OP but this might be the craziest if not most powerful.
Arcane Breath
ok cheap spell for mage with conditional upside. sounds like one of the more balanced cards of the deck
New Shaman Minion - Bandersmosh
Very unreliable card but useful in arena..probably will be dusted..
Fiendish Rites
Looks like demon lol is making a comeback by combining with zoo.
Bandersmosh
400 dust
New Mage Minion - Dragoncaster
Great card, people played Arcane Tyrant months ago and this fit the same role
New Shaman Minion - Nithogg
Good stats for board but easily removed..we'll see..a lot of times these "trash" cards ends up becoming mvp in the meta
Dragoncaster
6 mana play any spell you like, get a 4/4 minion. yes please. dragon big mage incoming?
not just good with pyroblast or flamestrike but cheaper spells like polymorph aswell
Abyssal Summoner

wow..the amount of plays you can make with this card in highlander mage..meme double pyroblastXD
New Shaman Minion - Bandersmosh

Shaman Legendary Card Reveal - Bandersmosh
400 dust . this card doesn't even need a discussion, why is this a legendary?
New Mage Spell - Arcane Breath
Nice card for cyclone mage. This will be a staple addition to the deck to generate more spells~
New Warrior Minion - Deathwing, Mad Aspect
i'm not sure if dragon warrior will be a thing, and even if it will i'm not sure it would run this card.
Still it can win the game if you discover this on the right matchups
Crazed Netherwing
Again, dragon warlock seems to be actually viable. Sadly doesn’t work as well in arena because of conditioning but this is still amazing. 5/5 especially since it’s a dragon that helps add to the minion pool
Diving Gryphon

Damn this card is amazing!

New Neutral Minion - Bad Luck Albatross
Back in High School, the regular Albatros used to bully the bad lucked one

New Shaman Minion - Nithogg

New Mage Minion - Dragoncaster
Cheating mana is always a fan favorite ... *sigh*
I'm foreshadowing some early face Pyroblast
Zzeraku the Warped
This is a big threat on board so long as Warlock has health but almost a dead card if it doesn’t. Unless there’s lots of support and healing cards for Warlock I don’t see this becoming a thing.
New Mage Spell - Arcane Breath
Cheap spell - check
Value generator - check
Kalecgos in hand - check
This will see play
Valdris Felgorge
