Excellent card. It has synergy with Valdris Felgorge and you'll summon a demon with fairly good stats. Bonkers for wild with Bloodreaver Gul'dan. It also fits greatly in an Evenlock deck.
Vilespine Slayer was a stable in Rogue for a long time. This costs only one more mana, doesn't have to be comboed, has 1 more attack, and a potentially big upside of destroying the other copy of a card. I'd say this will be in many rogue decks no matter the meta.
I don't see the fact that the deathrattle being a secret really matters. Your opponent should always consider it being the worst outcome possible. I do see it working in a deathrattle rogue deck while using Necrium Blade.
Either way, I learned to never underestimate egg cards and I do see this having some potential especially if it has the chance of getting a 12/12 as a deathrattle on turn 5.

Discover is much worse than it used to be, and they haven't revealed any new ways to activate this. I mean it could be fine in Quest Paladin, but IDK why you'd pick randomness over the consistency of Mechano-Egg, though after Boomsday rotates out it could help fill that deck with a good egg. Otherwise I don't see it being good enough to see play.

A lot of dragons are good because of their battlecries and not because of their stats, so getting a delayed set of stats would mean that the stats have to be really good, like better than an 8/8 (Mechano-egg).

I just don't have that kind of money, so instead of paying $20, I'm going to be saving gold for the next week and a half. Black Friday deals for Hearthstone would be nice, but I can't even get the regular deal right now :(

The odds of not hitting an 8/8 or a 4/12 are remarkably low, unless a bunch of tiny dragons get revealed in the upcoming days.
Great card. It's a 4/4 minion with assassinate that removes all copies of the minion you destroy. And you can Shadow step it and do the same again to another minion! Excellent if you play against infinite decks like Druids with Elise or Mill Rogue in Wild.
Even with some of the best possible outcomes it seems far worse than other cards like Mechano Egg or Devilsaur Egg. In order for it to be on the same powerlevel as the Devilsaur egg it would need to summon an average of a 7/7, which is obviously not going to be the average, given the high number of lower-cost dragons
So obviously you would want to play this card in a deck that holds a lot of cards in hand. A handlock deck would be the best way to utilize this effect or you could try a Supreme Archaeology deck for fun. While the effect is strong, I feel like it would be better to run Khartut Defender for that 6 mana minion slot since you will need the healing. Either way, this card can be a huge tempo swing getting you a massive taunt minion.
Not a big fan of high costed eggs: Mechano-Egg on average is better and it's seen little play due to just Kangor's Endless Army shenanigans. Really dependent on how good the Dragon pool is (which should be at least decent), but yeah, for me it's just a meme neutral epic.

Dragons usually have large stats with dragons like Deathwing, Ysera, Malygos, Alexstrasza, Nozdormu, Onyxia, Waxadred, Evasive Drakonid and Twin Tyrant (while considering you are going for a Rogue deck).
You might get a few bad options such as Twilight Drake, Brightwing, Marsh Drake, Faerie Dragon and Dragonmaw Scorcher, but since you are using discover you should be able to get a good Dragon most of the time.

One cool interaction I can think off is to discard it with Expired Merchant. Cool for combo decks like Mecha'thun to go trough your deck faster.

This card with Valdris Felgorge should make a fun new handlock. Maybe this is how dragon warlock will work, with dragons like Twilight Drake, Crazed Netherwing and the spell Nether Breath that end up making a new type of handlock.
