Valdris Felgorge (5/5): The hand size will likely not matter for Arena, but essentially playing Sprint while developing a board? Hell yes!
Abyssal Summoner (3/5): Obviously designed to synergize with the new hand size increase mechanic. Chances are that as WL, you will have cards in your hand most of the game and you need "just" 4 to get decent value. All the new discover effect and Lackey spawners help fill your hand too. This should perform relatively well on average i think.
10/10 or should I say 12/12? With the legendary, this should summon a whopping 12/12 so that's 12/12 with taunt and the extra 2/2 those are great stats and with warlock's other legendary yet to be revealed I'm expecting a dragon that has nothing to do with handlock
Edit: Due to bad reading skills I thought this just looked at total hand size not held cards so still seems pretty good but slightly worse.
The effect is pretty cool but I can't think of a deck where it could be of used besides Mechathun. This has better stats than Azalina to replenish your hand so there's that.
What - and I cannot stress this enough - the actual fuck.
I legitimately have no idea what in the world is going on with this. I don't think Handlock has enough stuff in Standard to make this a Thing: Abyssal Summoner & Mountain Giant being the main targets I guess? In Wild a bit more options, but honestly I feel like this is "setting the stage" for Handlock in NEXT APRIL's expansion, so just a little random right now
On one "hand" drawing 4 while also increasing Handsize in a class that likes to draw a lot is pretty strong. This makes both Plot twist and the Quest a lot better.
On the other hand, this is a 7-mana 4/4 that does nothing the turn it's played, meaning you'll usually have to set up a Doomsayer turn to play this and even then it's a pretty weak play by itself.
Although we finally get to play 1-mana Mountain Giants.
The real question is whether this works in combination with a dragon package, because otherwise I don't see Controllock working out.
This card makes me laugh, but in a good way. It's that kind of laugh you do when you are a veteran at the game and know when to summon armies of voidlords outta nowhere...
I like it. Not sure this really CAN be bad if you're playing a slower Warlock deck. Warlock's never really get to the point of having a small hand usually outside of Zoo.
so sprint on a stick that also increases your hand size and with the minion reveled with this it will spawn a 12/12 with taunt for 6 mana. This expansion is going to be crazy powerful in all regards. Back to this though its sprint on a stick with more hand space it's going to be crazy I can assure that.
7 mana 4/4: draw 4 would already be fine even without the permanent hand size increase. Also compliments the loss of life tap in Galakrond decks very nicely.
Is it strange that I think this will see limited use? I think it might be strong in combo's like Mecha'thun but I feel like outside of that it is just such a niche effect and four draw might even just be too much for a Warlock deck that isn't trying to OTK.

New Warlock Cards - Valdris Felgorge & Abyssal Summoner
Sick.
This expansion is full of extremely interesting legendaries.
PS: hopefully 12 cards fit in mobile!
New Warlock Cards - Valdris Felgorge & Abyssal Summoner
This opens insane design space.
New Warlock Minion - Abyssal Summoner

Valdris Felgorge
Okay so This guy's stats are REALLY bad for 4 mana, but he is attached to sprint, so it's a 1 mana 4/4 that casts sprint. Not terrible.
The increased HAND size is pretty sweet. And he synergizes well with the Quest from Ulduum.
Yes, Rafaam's plan's coming together nicely...
New Warlock Minion - Valdris Felgorge
Helloooooo Gul‘dan, glad to see you‘re ack! And how much you have grown!
New Warlock Minion - Valdris Felgorge
So Sprint was a weak card....
New Warlock Cards - Valdris Felgorge & Abyssal Summoner
Just WOW in both cards!
New Warlock Cards - Valdris Felgorge & Abyssal Summoner
Wow I never throught they would print such card. Not for balance but for Coding Reasons
Abyssal Summoner
Handlock is back! We just need couple of more heals, just Nether Breath is not enough yet...

Torn on this one.

Rogue Legendary Reveal - Flik Skyshiv
Wow, you could play Meca‘thun, pull it with Jepetto and counter enemy Meca‘thun decks by destroying your own one! So flexible! ;)
Also imagine this card in battlegrounds for a second ... (not longer, i know that’s a dumb idea)
Some more dumb thoughts: Would you destroy an enemy Jaraxxus hero when you destroy Jaraxxus on the board?
New Warlock Cards - Valdris Felgorge & Abyssal Summoner
Holy. Shit.
New Warlock Minion - Abyssal Summoner
I for one am looking forward to testing out handlock in the upcoming expansion. It's gonna be pretty sweet discounting Mountain Giants to 1 mana.
Abyssal Summoner

1 Mana Mountain Giant here I come. I thought they would never do something like that, but here we go...
New Warlock Minion - Valdris Felgorge
7 mana 4/4: draw 4 would already be fine even without the permanent hand size increase. Also compliments the loss of life tap in Galakrond decks very nicely.
Valdris Felgorge
Pretty cool card. But it's 3/5 because its impact really need to be tested. It's not one of those cards you can tell straight away
New Warlock Cards - Valdris Felgorge & Abyssal Summoner
Wow. Increased hand size isn't even dependent on the minion staying in play. That's pretty incredible.
Valdris Felgorge
