Too underwhelming for the cost. The 1/7 body isn't difficult to take down by turn 7. If the opponent has any minions, they could probably trade and still survive. It's only playable on an empty board, which is quite situational.
This card shouldn't be a mech. It's just a gigantic metal crossbow that can't operate on its own. In the card art you can even see a person standing behind it. Either convert Ship's Cannon to a mech as well or remove the tag from this card.
Not bad, I think it is similar to Zilliax in that it will kill a minion and give you more health/armor which will make it a very handy tool for surviving against aggro decks. Killing a 5/5 with this basically means you have protected yourself against 10 damage. This card doesn't look very exciting, but it will without a doubt be very frustrating to fight against.
It will also help setup for a Shield Slam, which can mean that you are dealing 5 damage to two separate minions for just 5 mana.
This is one of the hardest cards to judge. Going straight to 10 mana is crazy, and based on how you build your deck and your opponent build their there is a lot going on. Paladin isn't great at broad control or removal, its usually a grinding class that has to carefully manage its resources and IDK how this fits into that plan. Its going to be interesting, that is for sure, but I can't truly judge the card until the whole set is out and even then how the meta shakes up.
What do you mean Paladin isn't great at board control or removal? Equality? Shrink Ray? Time Out? Paladin has some of the best control tools in the game at the moment. Whether or not this type of deck works won't be due to a lack of removal options if you ask me.
All those tools are double sided. They don't just wipe your opponents board if you lose control. Also Time Out is a stall card, and its value is only really seen in combo decks. Its not some sort of weird OP card in a random tempo deck or something. Equality and Shrink Ray both don't actually clear the board, you need a second card to do that with them, and going 2 for 1 on your removal isn't that impressive. Its true that generally speaking those cards always let you fully clear, but you can only do it a limited number of times, while a class like priest has multiple AoEs of different power level and cost that do the job in 1 card. Symmetrical effects are rarely truly symmetrical. Nozdormu ramps both players to ten, but one player (presumably) has a deck built to capitalise on loads of mana whereas the other schmuck is stuck with a regular ol' mana curve.
What do you think happens when you drop a 4 mana 8/8 and give your opponent 10 mana? They are forced to extend onto the board, allowing you to gain a ton of value from board clears and further abuse the difference in value between the two decks.
Maybe Nozdormu might be busted enough to go in any old tempo deck, but the card is clearly most suited toward a very greedy control deck that likes spending lots of mana.
I think this card is better than everyone is giving it credit for. Every time you invoke you summon two 1/1 imps, which means that it won't be hard to develop a board, and none of the invoke cards will get you a board with much health, but you will continue to summon more and more 1/1 imps, and you will continue to give them more and more buffs, and then you can play Veiled Worshipper and galakrond to give you more steam so you can play more and more minions throughout the game and eventually you will be able to find a way to finish off your opponent.
Murloc shaman is a pretty powerful deck right now, but once you are able to kill their initial board, it is very hard for them to get back up unless they happen to have an Underbelly Angler. I imagine that zoo warlock will work similarly except that they will have way more ways to generate a board then murloc shaman.
Dragon paladin may actually be a serious threat with this addition. Also hoping Da Undatakah can get some serious value in the late game with some of the bigger vanilla dragons collecting dust in my collection.
A Dragon with a weird but OK body, that draws you a super good spell, that you can´t get otherwise. I think any Mage deck can easily tech in this one, the requirement is minor, the reward feels amazing. Great card.
I don´t even care if this card is going to be good or bad. I loved the concept of Steamwheedle Sniper, and this one is a salute to that card. Super happy to see this, may be too powerful with other cards, but happy anyways. :D
Back then, this card used to be for 5 mana (Cobra Shot, I think it saw a fair amount of play), the requirement for this is so minor, it´s almost not worth mentioning. Question is, does this have a place among other hunter cards? I think it will be included in almost every hunter deck. Looks pretty good. :)
I can not wait to see this guy's summoning animation! I can see him being a lot of fun in some of the old single player content as a token generator but without some serious support for 1/1 buffs in standard I think he is going to fall short.
Firstly, I love the art of this card. Im not a big fan of druid to begin with but I would be happy to get this in golden. Trying yo make a deck with this and vanilla Ysera (also golden) would be enough to start getting some play time. Yay for dragons!
A strictly better Emperor Cobra, that´s a dragon instead of a beast, and also has a powerful Discover effect. Can´t see this not being good. I thing these explorer cards are all good in their own way and will find their place in various types of decks. :)
A direct replacement for the soon rotating Masked Contender. I´m really curious whether we´re gonna see this or the second card until they´re both in Standard. This takes more to activate, but the effect is repeatable. Question is, is this effect worth repeating?
Everyone is saying this card is super bad trash, but I disagree. It is also two 1/1 imps, which still doesn't look very good, but keep in mind that you will not just be dropping this on an empty board on turn 3 every game. As a stand-alone card this is horrible, you want to play this along side other cards that care about you having a lot of minions on the board. Imagine playing his with Knife Juggler on the field. Getting a free Arcane Missiles along side the 3 minion isn't a bad deal. Or imagine this with Jumbo Imp in hand, now you also get two procs towards an 8/8. Or imagine playing this along side the other new invoke card, getting a 5/1 plus four 2/1 imps isn't that bad, especially when it also means later you get to draw 3 cards later on.
Stop looking at this card as a 3 mana 3/1 plus two 1/1's. This is not a card you play by itself, this is a card you play with other cards to get a large early board, and then with other invoke cards you are able to summon more wide boards, and then buff them, and then play galakrond so that you can get 10 damage through the weapon, plus more wide boards.
Please give this card a chance, it will be better than you think.

Wanted to let you guys know the hyperlink, Descent of Dragons expansion guide, on this page doesn't work and results in a Page Not Found error.
Shu'ma
Too underwhelming for the cost. The 1/7 body isn't difficult to take down by turn 7. If the opponent has any minions, they could probably trade and still survive. It's only playable on an empty board, which is quite situational.
New Warlock Minion - Veiled Worshipper
Good stats and greatly improves galakrond decks.
New Rogue Minion - Umbral Skulker
Great for Galakrond decks. Might lose tempo but all those coins will be really useful.
New Priest Minion - Fate Weaver
Great card, lovely art! Definitely will se play.
Envoy of Lazul
seems really bad. and if my opponent have nothing in hands?
New Priest Minion - Envoy of Lazul
For god knows what reason, it only shows cards that started in the opponent's deck. This almost makes it a 1/3 chance of a card.

Dragonrider Talritha
this one seems really fun to use
Shu'ma
may work in a token deck
New Hunter Minion - Dragonbane

New Warlock Minion - Dragonblight Cultist
Luckily, I do not play warlock. But my condolences to those who do.
Dragonrider Talritha

Malygos, Aspect of Magic
A Dragon with a weird but OK body, that draws you a super good spell, that you can´t get otherwise. I think any Mage deck can easily tech in this one, the requirement is minor, the reward feels amazing. Great card.
Dwarven Sharpshooter

Ysera, Unleashed
Not sure what to rate this for ladder, but the art alone is 5/5
Shu'ma

New Warrior Spell - Molten Breath
I'll take it. A good tool for surviving the hyper aggressive Zoo decks we'll be seeing and living long enough to play your fat, scaly friends.
