I like it. You will end up needing to play invoke cards before galakrond becomes worth it, this invoke card looks better than some of the ones we have seen so far.
My F2P side loves any rare card that can discover legendaries for it, of course. Otherwise, it's a good card that can slot into most any deck that wants what it's got. What's not to love?
It does remind me of Dark Arakkoa, which in large part enabled C'thun Druid. Maybe we'll see something similar occur.
Technical question - will this, like Wild Growth, provide you with a draw if you try to ramp at 10 mana? I feel like I remember that they decided that was a niche interaction somehow, with regard to other ramp cards, but I don't remember.
Otherwise, I agree with the more skeptical folks in this thread! It's a good card... if Druid ends up playing dragons. Otherwise, it will be a card that makes your Wild meme decks (read: MY wild meme decks, get outta heah) more consistent. Currently, that's up for grabs. Ysera isn't consistent or early enough to be deck defining, and Emerald Explorer is quite good but similarly not THAT good. It is, unfortunately, hard to imagine dragons making it into the Choose One shell of Quest Druid, so we'll need to see more powerful dragons, or this won't hit as hard as folks expect.
On the bright side, though, besides the meme side, this will be around for a while! If not this set, hey, maybe we'll receive some dragons that enable Druid in the next. Or maybe Team 5 will decide that these synergies are a one-set thing, as they often have.
5/5 super powerful minion. It helps you to get combos, and it also helps you play all of those random priest minions you will be getting from galakrond. I imagine that galakrond priest will end up having a pretty large hand, Fate Weaver will end up playing a huge role in the decks success.
A total of 12 damage for 3 mana is just crazy. With increased Spell Damage or even Zentimo this is potentially devastating. Even if you don't go full Dragon Shaman you might include this and 1-2 dragons in another archetype just for the combo.
This is one of the hardest cards to judge. Going straight to 10 mana is crazy, and based on how you build your deck and your opponent build their there is a lot going on. Paladin isn't great at broad control or removal, its usually a grinding class that has to carefully manage its resources and IDK how this fits into that plan. Its going to be interesting, that is for sure, but I can't truly judge the card until the whole set is out and even then how the meta shakes up.
What do you mean Paladin isn't great at board control or removal? Equality? Shrink Ray? Time Out? Paladin has some of the best control tools in the game at the moment. Whether or not this type of deck works won't be due to a lack of removal options if you ask me.
All those tools are double sided. They don't just wipe your opponents board if you lose control. Also Time Out is a stall card, and its value is only really seen in combo decks. Its not some sort of weird OP card in a random tempo deck or something. Equality and Shrink Ray both don't actually clear the board, you need a second card to do that with them, and going 2 for 1 on your removal isn't that impressive. Its true that generally speaking those cards always let you fully clear, but you can only do it a limited number of times, while a class like priest has multiple AoEs of different power level and cost that do the job in 1 card. S
Killing 4 minions is usually enough to clear the board, or at least make sure you survive until next turn.
The hero power is kinda weird though. Random priest minions aren't always ideal, but being able to pump out more and more minions every turn is pretty good value. There is obvious synergy here with Princess Talanji, and when you are generating so many random priest minions, I wouldn't be surprised if you are able to randomly generate a Princess Talanji. There are plenty of good priest minions that can help you to out-value your opponent in the lategame. There are also plenty of bad priest minions that will just be taking up space in your hand. But any free minions is, well, a free minion.
I don't see much reason why you wouldn't want to be playing galakrond in a control priest, there is just way too much value.
New Priest Minion - Envoy of Lazul
It IS Mindbender Ghur'sha, it's the same artwork (remastered, I believe) of a portrait of it with Erunak Stonespeaker.
All in all, there's ton of Old God going on in this expansion.
That's from the wow gamepedia.
New Hunter Minion - Phase Stalker
I'd say this is an average card. Looks solid, but will it see play in Secret Hunter idk. It's better then Mad Scientist
New Hunter Spell - Corrosive Breath
Quick Shot saw play, so this will too. Very agressive Hunter is being promoted here
New Priest Spell - Time Rip
I like it. You will end up needing to play invoke cards before galakrond becomes worth it, this invoke card looks better than some of the ones we have seen so far.
New Hunter Minion - Dwarven Sharpshooter
if this were a beast I'd say it's broken. Very good 1-drop
New Mage Minion - Azure Explorer
Cosmic anomaly is so much better! And it was played only in aggro secret mage... This dragon is weak, but has a sweet art
New Hunter Minion - Phase Stalker
maybe highlander or wild secret hunter, but outside of that I'm not sure how good it is.
Maybe even hunter, too
New Druid Minion - Emerald Explorer
My F2P side loves any rare card that can discover legendaries for it, of course. Otherwise, it's a good card that can slot into most any deck that wants what it's got. What's not to love?
It does remind me of Dark Arakkoa, which in large part enabled C'thun Druid. Maybe we'll see something similar occur.
New Mage Minion - Azure Explorer
Nice with Spell damage +2 but it's probably too weak to see much play. Easily removed but if you really want to discover dragons you might use it.
New Neutral Minion - Twin Tyrant
another fat-bottomed mana cheat for Mogu Fleshshaper
New Hunter Minion - Dwarven Sharpshooter
Solid 1 drop, good card. Would've prefered if it were a beast though, but it's still a great minion.
New Hunter Minion - Primordial Explorer
dragons in hunter will finally make sense without shoehorning them in, and this is just about the best 3-drop to support that
New Mage Minion - Malygos, Aspect of Magic
Very good in dragon control mage archetype. Cool art but I'm little disappointed because it has nothing with spell power
New Neutral Minion - Shield of Galakrond
Auto-include in most Galakrond decks, yes. Playable even if it shouldn't trigger Gala's hero powers, like in Arena.
New Druid Spell - Breath of Dreams
Technical question - will this, like Wild Growth, provide you with a draw if you try to ramp at 10 mana? I feel like I remember that they decided that was a niche interaction somehow, with regard to other ramp cards, but I don't remember.

New Priest Minion - Fate Weaver
5/5 super powerful minion. It helps you to get combos, and it also helps you play all of those random priest minions you will be getting from galakrond. I imagine that galakrond priest will end up having a pretty large hand, Fate Weaver will end up playing a huge role in the decks success.
New Warrior Minion - Deathwing, Mad Aspect
outrageously good card
New Shaman Spell - Lightning Breath
A total of 12 damage for 3 mana is just crazy. With increased Spell Damage or even Zentimo this is potentially devastating. Even if you don't go full Dragon Shaman you might include this and 1-2 dragons in another archetype just for the combo.
New Paladin Minion - Nozdormu the Timeless

New Hunter Minion - Dwarven Sharpshooter
Very good card - stats are insane and passive effect is very good!
Hearthstone Global Games 2019 - Week 2
I really love watching when HS has tournaments.
New Hunter Spell - Corrosive Breath
Weak on constructed, its okay only for smorc dragon hunter - if something like that would work
New Rogue Hero - Galakrond, the Nightmare
Crazy effect when fully upgraded, but you want expensive cards in you deck to really make use of it. Can't really see this as a win condition.
New Priest Hero - Galakrond, the Unspeakable
Killing 4 minions is usually enough to clear the board, or at least make sure you survive until next turn.
The hero power is kinda weird though. Random priest minions aren't always ideal, but being able to pump out more and more minions every turn is pretty good value. New Rogue Spell - Seal Fate
Ok filler for Galakrond decks, but not particulary strong. The 3 mana cost and undamaged condition significantly weakens the card.
