I also think they did the Neutrals before the remaining classes to maximize the theory-crafting for Death Knights. So by tomorrow's end we'll know every card available to them, which is nice.
Ah okay, so that explains it. I probably should have paid more attention towards the reveal schedule. This is actually a pretty smart decision by blizz, especially with that DK showmatch on the 16th.
Isn't this card an example that HS devs tries to appease any player? Aggro, control, combo or meme. Isn't that what we like about Hearthstone regardless the meta that was always frustrating even in the beginning of HS where people whined about stuff.
Personally I think this card might end up frustrating, when its competitive, but on the other hand it's an 3-TK, which gives his opponent a good preparation what he is trying to do. The only thing I might be annoyed about: the interaction between Brann and Sir D., because currently only Druid can do it due to Guff.
Nope: Manathirst can be seen as Combo - here's a tweet from Celestalon that explains it.
Manathirst can just be thought of like Combo. It's an optional additional effect that happens when played, unless otherwise stated. Brann doesn't normally affect Combo, but a Brann'd Perdition's Blade would do 2 twice.
Absolutely stupid. Let's print The Scourge, then in the same set, print an Undead that can completely screw over the player if randomly generated. Oh and fuck you too, Evolve Shaman players: want to evolve that Gorloc Ravager, or play Convincing Disguise on your Baroness Vashj? Well now you risk killing yourself, so have fun with that.
I thought it would be neat to see Kel'Thuzad in back-to-back expansions: the reveal teaser-image suggested it might be him, and lore wise it could make sense. Instead we get an infuriating card like this. Please, please be garbage...not that that will stop the random generation, but we can at least prevent the other side of things with rofl-stomp combos :/
My favorite card in this set so far. I already looked forward to play a control style blood dk but now I`m pretty hyped.
Brann and Zola will be best buddies with Alexandros, so even if 3 damage a turn isn`t enough of a clock I guess 6 or even 9 a turn will "slowly" grind everyone down. However, I think he will fall pretty soon to the nerf-hammer. People like to cry out about stuff they perceive as inevitabile after all (no matter how strong it actually is).
While I hope this is just a meme with no competitive applications, but then again, there are plenty of ways to disrupt and stall combos (not to mention just silencing the guy the moment he comes out)
And also for the DK Showmatch happening on the 16th. So Blizzard don't have to worry about the DK preview spoiling any unrevealed cards. Super keen to watch that.
This is a nice top deck later in the game...during an arena match. I would hate to draw this early game coz holding it in hand till turn 10 will be painful. I have a sneaky suspicious we'll see a lot of this card though, due to Manathirst gameplay achievements.

So, Colossus CAN be moved.
Move is one location to another not a swap/change in allegiance.

Nice breakdown - thanks for looking into it!

See? This is exactly a The Jailer-type of card: huge power level with a potentially even greater downside.
I will hate losing against this one.

Very, very disappointing card to wake up to.

Gross. Never playing Evolve Shaman again :/
New Neutral Minion - Bonelord Frostwhisper
I guess we will see this one mostly in wild.
Mechathun Warlock, Quest Priest come first to mind as decks that would like to run it.
And if it is just plain terrible... Treachery might still make it fun...if you survive giving your opponent a manaboost that is.
In standard...maybe druids will use it.
It should increase their reach quite a bit. Just think about playing something like a 0 mana devourer + Sire + a moonlit guidanced Sire.
Probably other decks will make use of it too but for now I don`t really see something that warrants taking the risk.
