I've never been someone that would cook something to that degree with mayo on it. I don't know why either, in my head its like some forbidden thing to heat up mayo. Put it cold onto hot food some residual heat? That is fine. Add it to a meal and cook it a bunch, nope.
So this season has been the contrary of the last one: I climbed fast from Rank 10 to rank 5 with Tempo Rogue without any important difficulties. I was lucky with Quest Druid (I didn't encounter many of them, and I was lucky in some matches). Now that I achieved my objective, I plan to chill making the dailies, if possible with Pogo Rogue.
Amalgam is hardly a consistent path to the crown. The key to victory is managing the pool to deny triples and synergy to the players you will face once the rabble is eliminated.
In this case you could flood the board much better and be able to hero power early, while late game you can sell unwanted 4-6 stars for some extra gold for a purchase.
this is just an example, do not take this seriously
it would be cool to be able to buy spells as one time use, and it would cost a certain number of coins to use it.
I can't remember what I said initially about this card when it was first revealed but I'm sure I thought that it wasn't that good. At the time Dr. Boom Warrior/Luna's Pocket Mage were dominant so there was obviously no way a Highlander card with RNG affecting your hero power could be useful, I'm still pretty sure it won't be used much in the coming metas unless more neutral, non-legendary highlander cards get printed to support those deck types.
It'll provide steam if you get it early that is true, but if it's the 20th+ card in the deck then maybe it's not so great.
That's simple. Just go to the "Extra" tab on http://hearthcards.net/ and convert an existing card's cost into a tavern tier!
Remember that only a minority of regular HS cards would make sense in this mode (no spells/weapons, no card draw/deck interaction, etc...).
Here a some examples which I think are...interesting. Mostly because the same effect leads to a very different outcome!
Do note that in Zola's case, the golden minion will be the upgraded one!
I think heal would break the game. Ultrasaur feels like a TT5 minion. Cenarius is probably too good for HSBG.
I like the rest of them. I was a little worried about Thrasher, but the more I thought about it, the more reasonable it seemed. especially in the late early game where it may attack twice. It actually makes garbage like Righteous Protector more appealing.
yeah I just can't really get into this mode (which is weird, because I absolutely loved TFT). Maybe it has to do with the recycled assets that just feel...off
One correction on the attack order. Assuming both players have the same number of minions, which player gets to attack first does seem to be random, or, I at least have not been able to find a pattern. However, if one player has more minions than the other, say 7 vs 6, the player with more minions gets to attack first. So even if you have a worthless battlecry minion occupying a space on your board, do not sell it for a last minute reroll. If your opponent happens to have fewer minions than you do, you get to guarantee that your first minon, say a Cave Hydra, gets its attack off before it gets killed.
Now I haven't played much evolve shaman, but I have played a ton of miracle burn shaman, where Spirit of the Frog is the engine that drives the deck. With enough cheap spells the card is a 3 mana Gadgetzan Auctioneer with built-in stealth. That's crazy good. In any deck that runs cheap spells Frog beats Mana Tide, and for quest shaman you don't want either, you want battlecry effects.

I saw Iksar mentioned this on Twitter.

I'm broken. Mayo is incredible.

"Effect stays same" means very specific thing, effect didn't stay same. It is slightly but nonetheless different.
Battlegrounds - Early Access Drops, Battlegrounds Brawl Tournament Free Card Pack
Hm did anyone else NOT get the pack for participating? :/
Legends of Runeterra - Expedition FAQ
Seems pretty f2p friendly, but also time intensive. 7(-14?) games with slightly weaker decks/longer games will probably take quite some time.
My guess would be that it'll be high value per expedition, but maybe not the fastest way of acquiring rewards? Not sure.
Anyway, looks fun af.

Yeah i think you have to love onions to want them on your grilled cheese. Love some red onion.

I certainly hope we can one day transmit taste through the internet for this reason

Sounds good but i'd probably use butter and dip in mayo instead. I love mayo, especially mixed with ketchup.

Try using Mayonnaise instead of butter on the outside of the bread before grilling. DELICIOUS
Legends of Runeterra - Expedition FAQ
The 3 expeditions that you pay for (and have rewards) = 6 runs to get 7 wins before 2 consecutive losses. It's 2 runs per expedition.
After the 3 paid expedition, you can keep drafting and playing for free, but there are no rewards for those runs.
6 runs a week is about all i can do. I'm expecting the games of mid-range, low power, drafted decks to be longer than constructed games.

I think they should try scale the cost and/or selling
Example:
buying 1-3 stars Costs 2 coins, 4-6 stars costs 4 coins
1-3 stars sells for 1, 4-6 stars sells for 2 coins
In this case you could flood the board much better and be able to hero power early,
while late game you can sell unwanted 4-6 stars for some extra gold for a purchase.

Zephrys the Great, Call to Adventure, and Witchwood Piper are cards that will work most of the time, so obviously more useful than a card that works some of the time.
Not worth the dust, I think players can comfortably disenchant it without worrying if it will be a key card in a deck.

I thought so too, but it may be as a way to encourage you to explore other formats instead of farming Expeditions. I can't say for sure.

New Paladin Minion - Sir Finley of the Sands
So, after 3 months, how would you evaluate this card?
Immediate impact is obviously low, but it provides some nice steam on the long run.
Is he worth decreasing the reliability of tutors on Zephrys the Great (Call to Adventure, Witchwood Piper)?
Is he worth 1600 dust?

Inspire doesn't work very well, since a large number of heroes have passive hero powers.
