I tried some renounce lock, but at rank 5. I didn't win a single match. Surprisingly I'm actually having fun and winning games with Quest lock at rank 5!
There was quite a few glitches with the new hero portraits, and one noticeable difference after the patch was that the decks with new skins were accurately displayed. Fluxx named a few fix and updates but I also suspect way more than meets the eyes.
Just deleted the deck after many tweeks to make it, which included some early taunt minions to hold off aggro. Too much is necessary to make combo leaving you vulnerable without any answers to many opponents decks.
Anka is ALWAYS at the bottom :( I see why people said not to make it before but I really hoped with Nzoth back... We might see a stromg Deathrattle Rogue return but alas if you can not draw a key card cause its ALWAYS on the bottom the deck :(
Hmmm, that middle item "Change to the region dropdown..." feels like it could have affected the front menu on my phone... I always attempt to find information regarding the patches with very little success... thx for the research!
Thx for the reply; I swear I've never seen that green glow before, but maybe my phone is slow/needed update? Not sure, but if I'm not missing out on anything (the arena run I am doing right now is dual class, so that's not new), no big deal. Thx again!
The green glow around the arena just signifies there's a special event going on, namely dual class arena-ing. It's there every time you enter the main screen.
Just logged in and got an update notice. Downloaded the update, processed the packet (quickly I might add) then green fireflies have sprouted across the tavern's main screen and a green outline surrounds the Arena button for a moment (they are no changes to Arena that I can see, though I am in the middle of a run)... anyone know what is going on?
I think that the Wondrous Wisdom Ball had it in for me when I tried this with Rafaam. I had Master Scheme in my hand for the very first boss, let it build to deal 5 damage, then hit Ichabod's face with it when he was at 5 health. Up pops Khadgar to say "Let's cast that again!" so I drew 10 cards and fatigued myself to death, resulting in my defeat >:[ At the time I couldn't decide whether to laugh or snarl, but it's kinda funny now.
In a subsequent run he decided to cast Hellfire twice when it was terrible for me to do so, and "helped" by drawing more cards and pushing me very close to fatigue.
Meanwhile, in a run with Togwaggle I had an instance where I was offered an Empty Loot Box as one of the options for loot. Has that happened to anyone else?
Evolve Shaman is a real problem. Evolve should not have been brought back into standard. This deck is completely unfun to play against, and it's making me play the game less. 6 matches in a row today against Evolve Shaman.
To be honest, now it is happening to me 1 time a day tops. Before it was complete madness, it was freezing every second game. And i did not notice any recent update of the app.
I turned back to an old favorite being a hand mage using Khadgar+Mountain giants+Conjurer, N'zoth, Faceless Manipulator, galaxy spell and the default deathrattles including the new Sylvanas, Rag, Thaurissan. It can lead to strong refillable boards and some insane combo's, for instance a conjurer on a Sylvanas to get the Thaurissan from the opponent...I am enjoying it a lot. And the ability to copy the most annoying minion (say a Ragnaros) from the opponent is very nice, and when you need refill you always have n'zoth at your disposal. And the pool of 6 mana minions for conjurer is so strong: lots of taunts, deathrattles and new legendaries :). Combine that with Khadgar for some serious board state estate.
I also played a lot of flamewaker aggro/tempo mage but it is a bit boring...you stall until you have the combo cards, and if the train gets rolling (you also have draw) you win, and if not, you lose, except if you did enough damage to close the game with reach.
He didn't break any rule that Blizzard has been able to cite so far. The only thing they have pointed towards is a catchall clause in the contract that allows blizzard to dismiss any player for pretty much any reason, at the sole discretion of blizzard.
"Engaging in any act that, in Blizzard’s sole discretion, brings you into public disrepute, offends a portion or group of the public, or otherwise damage’s[sic] Blizzard image...."
If doing something that someone, somewhere might find offensive is a bannable offense then by god, the entire GM roster should be banned. The fact that Blizzard has the right to yeet players at will doesn't mean they retroactively broke a rule because they got yeeted.
