Won the third plague boss in one go with the first try with elise. Not because of an amazing pick of buckets but because of the following:
I choose as my second treasure VIP membership. Which grants you an upgraded tavern (had no idea what it was but seemed like fun. For everybody that doesn't know you get 6 coins to spend and your and the innkeepers board is filled with 7 minions)
Well that was nothing to special but I liked it. But now comes the kicker with the second tavern I got to pick (for 4 coins) one of bob's bombastic decks which replaces your entire adventure deck! Again no clue what it was but seemed like fun. Turns out I got a 30 card deck with only pogo-hoppers.
The next two bosses I beat before t5 and the plague lord was more difficult but even when he cleared my board 3 times (and not overcommitting) I could pop out around 2 20/20 (and growing minions after every clear. So down to 4 health and I had a big enough board to kill the boss (who was at 68 hp)
Do long story short: if you like a gamble get the VIP membership ;-)

OH! I hadn't thought of that - he's only showing actual, possible plays. I had assumed it was going to be more like how Curious Glimmerroot worked where two of the cards were "fake." That makes sense.

I'm wondering if anyone has taken the "Do the Math" option in Bob's Bazaar, and whether it actually worked out. I can't imagine a deck where you would want to ditch all your 1 and 2 cost cards. Is there a specific strategy someone has found where this is even remotely worthwhile? Sure, in the late game, you usually hate to draw cheap stuff, but just removing it from the deck entirely? When victory against the AI is so often dependent on a good early game? I'm dubious, but honestly curious to hear if anyone has gotten some value out of it.

Say I use Finley's Jr. Scout to clear the 1st act, I think upon completion of said act, Jr. would level up. It'll only works when all 4 chapters are available, like Asprobourboulis pointed out .. mea culpa. Fact > Assumption

Simple really. You would only ever pick it in a deck with access to mostly big minions and cards that support that.

Eternal Tomb turned to Rin the First Disciple
By the 3rd Sigil I had Vargoth out who added a copy to my hand.
Destroyed his deck with him still at 299
Got him to the threshold and his deck & hand refilled
He summoned Hakarr , I destroyed his deck again and then killed Hakarr which had reborn. Killed him again.
Then continued to the next threshold
He burnt himself with Fatigue and Bloods.
