  • 30 Cards or 60 Cards?

If each deck should have been 60 cards instead of 30, then you also should allow 4x of each cards (with the exception of legendaries) in order to have enough consistency. Just like MTG.

That will drastically chance all the gameplay and the overall balance of most cards because the game strategy itself will be different.

No idea how can anyone defend this combo, on this specific deck, beats me

Now it's also a staple in Murloc Shaman, which is quickly picking up in play %. That one is not even punishment against aggro, because the deck floods the board enough to play a cheap Mogu Fleshshaper early with just its own minions

I don't understand why some of you liked LoE so much.

The flavor was awesome. The cards were great (Tunnel Trogg aside). Discover is an excellent mechanic.

But the adventure itself? I'm sorry but it's bad as fuck.

Heroic Slitherspear? Unbeatable without exploiting the Kel'Thuzad +Taunt glitch which seems to have been fixed. Heroic Scarvash? Unbeatable without a 2-mana Fiery War Axe. Heroic Skelesaurus? This one is bullshit in its purest state. Tyrantus on turn 1? Sure that's balanced. The worst part is that this fucker gets stronger every expansion because the cards get stronger every expansion, and the proportion of good expensive cards increased.

If you didn't beat those guys when LoE was released, you're fucked.

Difficult =/= bad, but I think you're greatly exaggerating how difficult LOE is/was. I defeated Blackrock and LoE back during Whispers of the Old gods as a newbie player with next-to-no collection using budget decks essentially. Of the two I can confidently say that BRM was waaaaay more frustrating and took a lot more do-overs than LoE did.

Now granted, the Skelesaurus probably got quite a bit more powerful over time, and he's probably the least fun boss in terms of crazy highrolls, but the rest? Hardly. Not only that, with 4 years of expansions the player has a lot more tools available to cheese out these bosses, like say jades as a counter to ever-growing nagas or questmage OTKs.

Comparing BRM to LoE, I'd say the tough bosses in the latter adventure have much more specific and counterable traits, EG against Lady Vasj if you can clear her board her HP doesn't snowball, against the Steel Sentinel you want a good dose of weapon destruction and destroy effects/poisonous for his large minions. The oppressive BRM bosses like Maloriak or Drakkisath just murder you in 4 turns if you don't get the nut draw versus a dud draw on their part.

Sounds kinda fun - i do not play wild, only standard so forgive me if i forgot to implement a good card :)

Should be pretty forthcoming - play Quest and try to get the the reward - afterwards you can either put copys in the deck using Dire Frenzy , use Ramkahen Wildtamer or simply just play Baleful Banker - the Brewmaster is in there so you can bounce back the Tamer or the Banker - or simply just Carnassa :)

And of course cou can put yor Zola the Gorgon on Carnassa too :)

I only fixated on getting copys of Carnassa so i'm not sure if the deck can survive long enough to do so - maybe it needs some changes :)

I also only added Zul Jin so he could replay the Frenzy and Deadly Shot but i guess this is not enough to play him so he could be easily replaced - but if we would change the deck to somekind of Hunting Party variant we could play him :)

Looks good! So that's the 1-drop spam strategy. Crystaliser provides armour so maybe a bit of heal would be nice.. the Vicious Scalehide+Dire frenzy combo is usually good enough or an antique healbot that you could bounce in a pinch.

Edit: I noticed the Augmented Elekk in there- nice!

  • 30 Cards or 60 Cards?

If we're gonna have an new game mode it'd have to be something a bit more different than the exact same game, same rules only double deck size. The whole point of introducing a new game mode would be to shake things up for people who have become a bit bored of normal hearthstone after all, so why would they get excited over normal hearthstone with twice as many cards? If anything that'd be an even greater turn-off.

If a new game mode is implemented, I expect it to be more like MtG's Commander format, with substantially different rules, than just a variation on standard's card pool or deck size or w/e.

  • Grandmasters Season 2 Continues With Week 5!

Is honestly worse than that. Only some countries receive this random drops and I happen to live in one that doesn't.

The obligated drops every 3 hours I can get, this ones I can not do to twitch policies. It makes no sense and of course it makes me not want to watch at all.

    This really has to change.

    here's my take:

if you buy the game you're supporting laziness on the developer's side and basically signalling them that they can get away with it, which ultimately makes you part of the problem

Therefore and thusly I conclude: anyone who buys this

I agree with you til this point: after it you're just taking it as an excuse to insult peopl

and watch people completely disregard the point because they can't handle being insulted on the internet

Yeah but one thing is criticism (which is fair and I totally support it), another is insulting.

If people cry about a product they nonetheless buy, then it's their fault too and you're right to address it, but you shouldn't provoke like that.

It's not that people can't handle being insulted on the internet: people can't handle being insulted on the internet without any good reason.

"Hey you? Why do you play HS if that makes you salty? You mindless slave, sad fuck trying to find a goal in your pathetic life". See?

So what? nothing you said is wrong. Sorry that I don't want to pretened to be civilized on the fucking internet. I'm not claiming to be the paragon of virtue, I'm just making a point and I'm gonna use whatever language I feel like. If that makes you uncomfortable then it's not my problem.

Civility doesn't matter because people are too retarded to get the point anyways, so I might as well insult them so at least I get something out of the whole thing.

  • 30 Cards or 60 Cards?

Games could go on for ever, combos would be hard to pull of and removal would be even rarer.

People criticise highlander decks because the best playstyle against them is not playing around anything. The same thing would apply here.

Its less consistancy and more random shit. Probably horribly unbalanced.

Can‘t find a positive thing about auch a game mode tbh.

More than two copies of the same card is no option imo. I

  • 30 Cards or 60 Cards?

At the very least 60-cards would need double card draw, not just double fatigue.

But at that point, would it actually feel innovative enough?

  • 30 Cards or 60 Cards?

Well a mode were you can choose could be nice, but i doubt it would see much play - most people i know prefer the 30 Cards over the 60 - back in the Days when in played MTG a deck usualy had about 60 cards and sometimes it felt a little too much! so i like the 30 Cards setting more.

That's one idea yea.. but you need a deck to go with it -  spells or secrets? Or are you going with the typical 1-drop spamm?

Also technically it's 5 since Zuljin replays quest and the brood completes it

Therefore and thusly I conclude: anyone who buys this half-assed scam is a drooling fanboy with no sense of self-control or integrity. If you get offended by this you're only proving my point.

Simply no - so everyone who ever wanted a game like this and hasn't the same oppinion you have is an idiot? There are lots of people who realy like what they did or just simply grateful that they get a new and so far cool looking pokemon game - sure not everything is perfect and they could have made it even better but still - so far (with some exceptions) it looks awesome!

I'm also sure you're one of the people that cried about the missing pokemons and some of the attack animations - this game is not just for Hardcore Competetive Pokemon Players - this is mostly for Casuals and Newcomers - and therefor looks awesome! Yes there will be a small part for the competetive & core players and they will survive with some missing pokemons - but Nintendo is "feeding" not just the Core Gamers - so i think they made (almost) everything right.

I do not care if you call me names or a Nintendo Fanboy but to say everyone who buys it is someone without integrity etc is just plain wrong - at least in my oppinion.

I personaly am happy that we finaly get a cool looking pokemon game i  can play on my TV :)

cool. like a moth to the  flame and just about as self aware.

    -at least in my opinion

You either read it wrong or simply not understood what i said but ok, some people only see the bad things in life! :)

  • 30 Cards or 60 Cards?

Exclusive rules added to 60 cards rule such as Blitz mode and double fatigue damage might attract some to give it a go. I mean, a different mode should be live in next Hearthstone year because Standard/Wild/Arena/Adventure feels stale after such a long time.

  • 30 Cards or 60 Cards?

Depends. Do you actually want to play against warrior decks that literally will never runs out of cards.

They would have to remove the time limit as well.

  • 30 Cards or 60 Cards?

We do not have enough card redundancy in the game, not even in Wild. For the time being.

So bigger decks would lead to more inconsistency. It would feel more like Arena than Constructed.

    I'd stick with 30-cards mode.

  • 30 Cards or 60 Cards?

Just curious. If there were to be 60 cards mode, would you play it or not? I would like to see that implemented because Hearthstone has little to offer when it comes to game formats.

    Quote From ShotgunSoul

Age of Mythology needs a serious reboot. And I wouldn't mind if they added Aztec/Mayan mythos or, if miracle allowed (unlikely in today's political climate), the Hindu pantheon (do we know enough of the Mesopotamian gods and creatures for a faction?).

I bought the Asian expansion on Steam sale last year but it crashes constantly and refuses to load at times.

I'm in for AoM2 or whatever but recent patch (2.7) actually solved lots of performance issues. I advise you to check it out.
