  • Hearthpwn unsuable on mobile?

It happened to me on a regular basis, even before the split.

The problem is deep in that website...

  • Fleshshaper + Mutate is a problem

    Quote From Zwane

I would say being able to put one single big minion on the board using a two card combo should not be a big deal, since chances of having it early are not that great, and by turn 4 you should be prepared for a big minion (mountain giant anyone?). So honestly I do not understand what's the fuzz about. I think it has to do with the general strength of the shaman quest deck.

I disagree completely. I can remember maybe a handful of time losing to quest shaman for a reason other than this combo. It makes the deck playable. Just look what's happened to Mage since Conjurer was nerfed. Top played to least played, just like that. This is not much different.

The problem is that even in the late game this combo is still good, so its that much crazier when it comes on turn 4-5. Compare that to a big Van Cleef which requires playing a whole bunch of cards (not just two) and is usually a waste of cards in the late game. Divine spirit > Inner fire has always been a problem and I will be shocked if one of those cards (probably divine spirit) is not sent to the HOF with next round of cards.

Oh wait i thought it was a warlock deck for some reason... stupid me...

  • Rock, Paper, Scissors: Highlanderadin, Big Swing Druid, and a Mech Draw Machine Warlock

    Quote From Kelian

I recently tried to defend Hearthstone as not "Play-to-Win", but the increase in the meta with Highlander decks makes the argument futile.

I don't think it was any better pre-UoS.  Meta decks have been >8k dust for as long as I can remember.  Granted, that's not to say you can't make a budget off-meta deck and still make it to legend through skill and perseverance...

I generally think of Hearthstone as "Pay-to-Not-Lose".  The difference between a good budget deck and a meta deck is usually a handful of legendaries and epics which will cost you the game ~10% of the time if you don't have them, but if you do already have them then there is effectively nothing you can pay to win even more.

  • 6 Leeroy Jenkins OTK!

Why Witchwood Piper?  I assume you don't really care about tutoring Thalnos or Loti--is it just for thinning the deck, or are you holding it until after you draw the latter and hoping to hit Floop?

I've one-shotted the first boss 3 times, and the second one once. I also had to fight the second boss a second time, and his health pool was saved as it's supposed to be. Looks like this problem is only affecting some players. Maybe a mobile issues? My sympathies to those getting screwed. The bosses are hard enough as is.

I'm on mobile and didn't have the problem (yet)

  • Fleshshaper + Mutate is a problem

What reflects poorly on the game is lazy and/or incompetent developers who can’t be bothered to make the game play consistent, fair, and balanced because their player base continues to gladly consume the slop they serve expansion after expansion. People accept subpar crap too often

  • Legendary Shaman

Is it good? Should i craft it golden?

Wait Prince Valanar instead of Kazakus? Really?

Whaaaat? You can put Kazakus only to mage, warlock and priest decks. Really.

    Quote From Hydralisk

Hey everyone! Like a lot of you I switched to this site when I first heard about the split.

On occasion I would still check out hearth pwn to see how it was doing. After awhile, when I would go there on mobile, I would almost always get redirected by some spam pop-up thing where I would be on a new page saying ive won something. I cant even click back to return to where I was. This happens almost everytime I go there and eventually I just stopped trying. Never had a problem like that on this site!

    This happen to anyone else?

I actually find this to happen to a lot of sites recently. I guess there is a new type of ad around and sites aren't aware of it yet.

  • Highkeeper Ra WITHOUT Cultist

I wasn't going to do the calculation for that one, but what the hell...

If it was during The Grand Tournament expansion release, it would be a 2.38% chance (approx.)

That's bad, but if it was done in wild format now, it would be a 0.65% chance (approx.)

Even under the best circumstances, you would have to play 42 matches before you could reasonably expect it to happen once...

I know, but you would get a superb value, another two Thadiusses plus again with Shudderwock :D yeah, it is slow as hell tho :D

I considered N'zoth, however there's only 3 Deathrattle cards in the whole deck, two of them being Stalagg and Feugen. It felt too slow (even for this deck!) since you'd have to wait for both of them + Sylvanas to die to really get value out of him.

  • Tombs of Terror: DON'T ATTEMPT CHAPTER 2 (Update: fixed)

@YourPrivateNightmare Same thing happened to me just now, got him down to 70-ish health, but the Health reset to 300. Lord of Madness at his peak.

  • Tombs of Terror: DON'T ATTEMPT CHAPTER 2 (Update: fixed)

I've only reached the final boss once, got him down under 200HP. It appears his health has held there, but I can't get another deck back to him to finish him off. I keep getting completely fucked by some bosses that are hard counters to my decks.

Yeah, was about to say that too. 100% you could have added it based on the battlecry cards, it would just work, but i understand why you didnt. Also, i kinda expected Nzoth, but more so since i also expected Shudderwock, since they would compliment each other.

  • Goblins

  • Magma Rager

    yup

  • Tombs of Terror: DON'T ATTEMPT CHAPTER 2 (Update: fixed)

It held the numbers for me no problem. Took me 3 runs, but I got it and it retained the persistent health pool each time.

Exactly! While it's true that Blizzard has been making cheaper legendaries for quite a while now, they're not as self-sufficient as Cho or Zephrys are (an example of a cheap legendary that wouldn't fit in this deck is that 3-cost Zenimax guy. Can't remember his name, but he's completely worthless).

Cho can be a beast in this deck.
