Wild Quest Mage Fun

Double Quest decks have become no surprise in the past days, but what if we went even further beyond?

The goal of this deck is to complete 3 quests in this order:

  1. Raid the Sky Temple
  2. Open the Waygate
  3. Open the Waygate

But how do we manage to get the second Open the Waygate? With Hex Lord Malacrass, of course!

Ascendant Scroll allows us to get Time Warps much faster, that's why Raid the Sky Temple should be completed as the first quest, there are many cards that help to complete the quests:

Ray of Frost is an amazing card in this deck, since it helps both quests and stops aggressive minions from attacking, it also works as a cheap removal in some cases.

Ancient Mysteries has been chosen over Arcanologist just because it's a spell, and allows us to draw the much needed secrets to survive.

Primordial Glyph speeds up both quests while allowing us to choose the best card depending on the situation.

Arcane Intellect is a staple in most Mage decks, it allows us to cycle through the deck quite fast.

Once you complete the first quest Ascendant Scroll is the way to go to complete the other two.

Since this is a late game deck there are many tools to survive the early game: (Frost Nova, Doomsayer, Blizzard, Flamestrike)

Khartut Defender is a good Taunt minion that also provides some healing.

Reno Jackson is to be used in a pinch, once we have drawn most of our cards.

Ok, but what do we do once we have 2 Time Warps in our hand? On an empty board:

  1. Play Archmage Vargoth + Time Warp;
  2. Play 2 Molten Reflections on Vargoth, resulting in 6 Archmages on the board;
  3. Play Drakkari Enchanter and the second Time Warp;
  4. Take 13 consecutive extra turns;
  5. ???
  6. Win the game.
