How would this even compute since Zephrys is 'supposedly' unaware of what's in your hand?
Indeed, as Pezman suggested, I believe Zephrys simply chooses a strong/threatening 2-drop based on his big data knowledge (since the enemy board is empty, he doesn't have to look for removals)
The only question i have right now is the why the Monk Card Broketooth Wanderer does not have a "Monk" tag ? As stated above the Meditate ability is for Monks only so i thought it should also have the Monk Tag below like the New Lackey is an Elemental :)
But the other stuff looks great so far - the Warlock Minion Cursed Pandaren seems a little to strong - of course depending what counts as an enchantment? If i would buff up cards with Grim Rally for example - would he also get the buffs of all the buffed minions?
I just looked over the list of Basic and Classic 2-drops (every minion Zephrys might offer with 2 mana left). The apprentice is one of the biggest threats to leave unanswered on the board. Knife Juggler looks like a close second.
A wild meta report would also be appreciated, perhaps less often that Standard report as in wild thing stay same-ish for longer. But Wild is ignored not only by Blizzard, but also by almost all hearthstone related sites. Would be neat if OOC would take wild more seriously that other sites.
I add my voice to that ! I play standard but also like to play wild. I have at least 5 wild decks and would really like to know how they fair and/or which deck is stronger so I can have an idea if I should push my deck more or find new ones
And of course, bravo to the writer of this great article 😏
Reading that part "As in metas past, Control Warrior is the name of the game if you want to rank up." I thought:
Is there a calculation how much longer a match in average is allowed to take per % win-rate, so it's actually faster to level up?
Some random example numbers, so it's more clear what I mean: Aggro hunter has a 53% win rate but matches take on average 5 minutes, control warrior has a win rate of 56% but matches take on average 15 minutes. Which deck is faster to ladder with?
What are you talking about he played Zephrys into leaving 7 mana. That was not what happened :o
He played two spells and was left with 2 mana. So maybe playing spells said Zephrys that you might have a spell heavy deck and 2 mana left over nudged him into a 2-drop that would help in a spell heavy deck. How consistent that is, i dont know tho.
So the latest Trolden video opened with a streamer pulling a Sorcerer's Apprentice off of Zephrys into lethal. I did some digging around and it turns out the deck he was playing was an OTK paladin that involved getting a guaranteed Sorcerer's Apprentice. Apparently the girl is guaranteed if the board (including weapons and secrets) is completely empty, you have 2 mana left and a large hand. However, there seem to be other conditions that I couldn't google up because the streamer in the video got her by playing a nonsensical (but deliberate!) sequence of cards into Zephrys leaving 7 mana. If anyone understands it, I'd love to know how it works
In any case, this really got me thinking. We basically have a method to fetch Sorcerer's Apprentice in any class now. This has to unlock a lot more than just paladin OTKs. The first thing I thought of was reviving APM priest, as the only card that rotated out was radiant elemental. I had no success so far, mostly because priest has trouble clearing the board completely while having 4 mana free (though I have figured out that APM combo pieces are really really good in good old inner fire priest. Amet, divine on him, boar, topsy then vivid nightmare on it is 14+14 damage!). You can also apprentice with unstable evolution in wild shaman, but being wild, it's not even that good
What do you guys think? Do you have any cool combos in mind with neutral apprentices?
The AI on this card is really well done. With Highlander Mage, i'm often fishing for this card with Witchwood Piper because Zephrys the Great just delivers the lethal everytime. The best ones I got was Windfury when I had a Mountain Giant on board. And often a Black Knight to deal with a pumped up Zilliax
Out of Cards is still my daily go to Hearthstone website (I Check above 5 times a day) however I sometimes go to hearthstonetopdecks.
i like how they regularly update with new lists from legend players on twitch. Where as sometimes I feel there aren’t much fresh lists here unless I go into deck finder.
Thought much the same. Unless the data is on the calibre of VS or maybe HSReplay, it's a lot of time and energy spent with little to no credibility to back it.
Hell, I don't even respect Tempo Storm's meta reports since there are better and more data-driven alternatives.

EDIT: Some real numbers:
Murloc Paladin:
https://hsreplay.net/decks/4ID03jW3LiHwKIiOwUdGbc/#tab=overview
Average match length: 6.3 minutes
Win rate: 58%
Control Warrior:
https://hsreplay.net/decks/2FUUSC94SpSHPRTuUhCW7/#tab=overview
Average match length: 14.5 minutes
Win rate: 60.9%
EDIT 2:
found a calculation: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/hearthstone/topic/20770947172#post-6
6.3 / 2 * (0.58 - 0.5) = 39.375 minutes per star for Murloc Paladin
14.5 / 2 * (0.609 - 0.5) = 66.5 minutes per star for Control Warrior

How to Play Zephrys the Great - The Perfect Hearthstone Card
Highlanders is extremely non budget-friendly obviously, because of the amount of legendaries and epics (like Puzzle Box) in the deck.

Also found I was having to hold on to giest as I hadn't drawn the scheme.

This is awesome. Helps for those of us that only know the lore through Hearthstone and not through WoW and other derivative sources.
No request for anything in particular other than maybe continue with the elementals theme with other elemental lords like Ragnaros, Neptulon etc.
