Thanks, probably going to rework some of them. One thing I'm certain of is that I don't need this man board clear and removal effects, I've got cards that are filling the same niches. Part of the point of the set is to fuse warlock mechanics into the other 8 classes, pretty sure I want to keep discard stuff in Warrior, though it is unusual.
Infernal Prince isn't comparable to Siamat. It's more comparable to something like Blazecaller. Unlike that card, you can't go face with it, so you might be required to blast your own minions if an enemy minion isn't available to target. Siamat is flexible, Inferno Prince really isn't flexible.
I think I'll keep God of War how it is. Much like UI or even the new Octosari (deathrattle draw 8), drawing that many cards is actually a problem. It's unlikely you'd have that as your only card in hand. And aside from overdraw problems, if this isn't played early in the game, you're likely putting yourself in fatigue. And yeah, it's pyroblast, but you're also taking the damage if you hit a minion and you can't skip over taunts.
Mannoroth, Pulverize and the Raider are likely going to get revisions.
Also worked a bit on Shaman and Priest, going to put some of that up later.
This is a lazy move because they don't want to balance the buckets after every 2-month arena rotation (not that they did it successfully in the first place). They're admitting defeat without admitting the rotating arena sets idea is a disaster. It sounded fun but in reality it was always going to be difficult to balance.
Id like to add that with Splitting Axe this deck is out of control, fill the board with buffed up totems on turn 4, your opponent cant keep them down and has to waste removal on TOTEMS. Before you even play minions out.
Thanks for the precision. I was assuming that we could get 2 SoU packs each day - after watching 3 & 6 hours worth of stream - on top of the hourly lottery for classic packs. I got 2 on the 1st day, then nothing and nothing on 2nd and last day. I does make sense. I can't complain anyway, as it was free and as I got a golden mage quest in my second pack ^^
I think the real problem with Dr. Boom, Mad Genius is the 7 armour for 2 mana. If blizz remove this hero power will not kill the card.
It's only a problem in your head. Dr. 7 is totally fine for me, only that omega card that get multiply times discovered by Boom is really annoying, because of that thing Warrior had almost infinite removals.
But maybe i am also wrong, because someone above said that Questpally with his value of eggs beats warrior. So again, Boom is fine.
HSReplay says there are ~750,000 games played as control warrior (as reported by HDT) just in the last 7 days. 10% of all games played. Nothing else comes close. Second place is Quest Shaman at 500k. Everything else is incrementally smaller.
No Armagedillo though? Nothing quite like a handbuffed Zilliax to force a concede.
I got my 2 packs on the first day. But you can only get 2 guaranteed packs for watching (one at 3 hours and a second at 6 hours). The would be SoU packs.
I did get lucky and got a Classic pack for watching the last day. So I know the random packs were working the last day.
Nice, I knew someone would do this eventually. I didn't have the dust to waste on my meme-decking habit this expansion. Previously restricted to Wild, Mecha'thun rogue goes Standard. Great job. Update if you can manage a 55% winrate over 40-50 games? I'd be willing to craft Anka for that.
For many of my slow rogue otk decks where you need to survive that long haul I've found N'Zoth, Sludge Belchers, & Rotten Applebaums to be essential. Valeera doubling up on these taunts also helps a lot. I haven't really found a better late game survival option for a class that is typically restricted to non-healing tempo tools mostly.
The rare occasion that you DO beat warrior, no matter which deck (unless your playing Quest paladin) it is always by the skin of your teeth. Is Dr. Boom HoF'd already?
Why would you nerf the Druid quest? Deck isn’t that good. Neither is Shaman. You say you chose these nerfs because the quest rewards can’t be countered, but each of these decks are hard-countered by at least two other decks (even control warrior). At this point, I’d be surprised to see a Dr. Boom, Mad Genius nerf (something for which I clamored last expansion) because Quest Pally and Highlander Hunter have kept CW in check.
People overhyping cards very early on again. It's easy to forget we've had metas where certain new decks were overplayed in the early parts of a meta just for better refined/more optimized or even sleeper decks mostly kick them out of the meta down the road. When people see any deck sliding into the new temporary tier 1 status the pitchforks come out

Lucky you! I've been thinking of crafting him.
I got two packs but ended up with 80 dust.
The axe is also strong here, and i believe it could find place in the deck as a 1-of.
However, this is only a strong move against decks you are already favoured: Aggro (with axe you can basically out-Aggro them).
Indeed, the axe does very little against those decks that can consistently and repeatedly AoE the board.
Namely, a properly tuned Secret Mage can now be devastating. Not always maybe, but enough to keep this deck under control.

Thanks for the lists!
I had only one dropped pack but got the mighty missing "is it a save craft?" Siamat
:D glHF
Double Highkeeper Ra Warlock!
I'm having lots of fun losing with this deck! Did you make it for fun? Because on ladder it doesn't work so good.

Although the strongest classes haven't changed much it's still nice to see a little more variety.
