I just queued against three Mages who all played Luna's Pocket Galaxy by turn 4 (they all used the coin). Insane. By turn 7 they have Archmage Antonidas, [Hearthstone Card (Mountain Giants) Not Found], and a King Phaoris-generated board to stomp me. It's like the Barnes of standard--if they draw it on curve you're just fucking dead.
Buffing that stupid card has to be one of the worst moves ever made by Blizzard. Even the tournament scene has been affected, most of the decks I see are Mage thanks to this card.
I mostly disenchant extra copies of cards, but I hold on to those that I *think* have potential to be nerfed in the future especially if I have golden copies of them. These are cards that I feel have mechanics/effects that can be abused by players to the point that a nerf will be warranted. Some examples include Togwaggle's Scheme, Time Out!, Hyena Alpha, etc. As you can see, none of these have been nerfed, so that makes me a pretty poor judge :P (I hit the jackpot by keeping 6 copies of Level Up! before though, so there's that).
Makes me happy to see that a series like this is going to be made, really looking forward to seeing more of it.
Haunted Creeper definitely was one of the cards that carried my midrange hunter back in the day, a small part of me does miss it.
For Stalagg and Feugan I still put them in my decks sometimes, even if I know it won’t work I just love them, it’s cards like that that I end up saying the voice lines myself when I play them.
Since I didn't get them from packs, I crafted Zephrys the Great and Siamat because they're probably the "safest" crafts out there. Siamat feels a little overrated though, but still useful.
I'm still thinking about crafting Shudderwock for a Quest Overload Shaman.
I think the real problem with [Hearthstone Card (Dr. Boom, Mad Genius) Not Found] is the 7 armour for 2 mana. If blizz remove this hero power will not kill the card.
The intention was good... But buckets wasn't the best approach... You need to balance power level in less invasive way... Rarity is also kinda bad sorting though. Because not all epics are equal and some commons are better than some epics...
I feel a change to the mage class, and in general. Evolve effects and conjurers calling effects should only be affected by the actual cost of the minion.
you cheat out a giant turn 4, you get 4cost minions from conjurer. You use evolve or mutate on the 7 cost rush shaman card, you get whatever it cost when played. Same as sea giant.
This makes it harder to cheat out and snowball on minions of this type.
this is a very good idea, I never understood why it doesn't work like tha
You know what is funny? I play the skelesaurus rex encounter in the LoE adventure a lot for fun and he gives both players a card each turn that is reduced to 0. If you evolve or conjurer a minion that was reduced that way, it will consider th eminion a 0-cost for that purpose, despite being on board. So the mechanic is THERE but for some reason not in the main game
That's fair. I understand the stabilizing tools Priest has; just I'd be worried that I'd draw heavy early without a way to contest the board. Usually I like to keep cheap early minions and spells to keep some early wide board control (Penance, Vulpera Scoundrel, Forbidden Words, Madame Lazul) and defend against early board sweepers in the meta (namely Underbelly Angler and Lightwarden and all of Paladin's murloc shenanigans). But it seems this deck is working fine for you, and that's great. I may have to try it sometime once I get a few key cards.
We needed a new game mode for a long time now. And/or more effort put into current game modes. And I would gladly play some other limited game mode. But seeing that they back off to revert Arena - I worry it means "We, Team5, don't want to put any more effort into ANY new (limited) game modes" ... Which is VERY sad to say the least.
I want to be wrong on that... but I set my "expectation bar" very low for Team 5. Like... do they even care about anything that isn't Standard ??? :(
I think they are just unable to balance it well enough which is a damn shame. If they would put some more effort into it, improve bucketing and make it to adjust faster, it could be fine.
Instead, they don't want to put more effort, revert it, and want to depend on micro-adjusts... btw. they should call it correctly, its more of a MACRO-adjusts...
Nah i am not worried at all, it's working very well for me. Took me to rank 5 so far. On quite a win streak today beating several mech hunters, a couple quest paladins, and even a quest warrior deck to pass the rank 5 floor.
This deck does pass a few early turns quite often using only the hero power but once you get taunt minions and waterbearers active it slows the game down immensely. Often take a ton of damage, even get close to lethal, but that's part of the plan. Through the mid-late game there's so much powerful removal, summoning, and healing available it can heal right back up to 30 easily. Mass Dispel is invaluable when it comes to eliminating all kinds of buffs and helping consistency.
I previously had some cheaper spells in this deck like Power Word: Shield and Penance but they were of little value and often sat in my hand while i hoped to draw something else. Doesn't synergize well with Archmage Vargoth or King Phaoris, has absolutely no use early game anyway, and i would much rather have one of my more expensive valuable cards in hand.
I recently opted for some more powerful cards over cheaper ones. High Inquisitor Whitemane because it has clear synergy with the deck in terms of resurrection and it's just a decent 7-cost body otherwise if you just want something on the board to interact with. Don't often get use of the battlecry but it's great to have as an option if you want to trade in your minions and also keep them. Also started useing High Priest Amet because it's actually such a powerful card in combination with Psychopomp, Khartut Defender, and just about everything else once you have the quest complete.
You need Overwatch Legendary Edition(Overwatch Origins Edition). Not a standart one. You can always upgrade your standart version but in my opinion it's not worth it.
[SoU] Star Aligner Priest
Did not expect star aligner to have such an impact but honestly has given me several huge swings. Awesome deck, thank you!
Invasion of the Legion! (New Set, WIP)
Added Warrior cards tonight and made adjustments to a bunch of rogue cards. Also some new neutrals.
Flark's Midlife Crisis
Cool deck, gotta love the shenanigans [Hearthstone Card (Shudderwok) Not Found] enables.

How do you handle 'mass disentchant'?

What are your Uldum crafting priorities?

Buckets in Hearthstone's Arena Being Removed in Future Patch
Should be whatever the current set rotation is for Arena, unless a blog post that comes out says otherwise.
