A very strong tool against aggro decks the 2/5 stat line is decent but the reborn making it come back as a 2/1 is real strong, even though this card doesn’t look too exciting it is definitely worth looking at when build a control decks
4 mana do nothing cards usually don’t work with rogue. This would be a great priest card but not so much in rogue. Unless the quest is relevant of course. Which is likely to be related to shuffle mechanics after seeing this card.
Myras is a great card but it’s not a reliable card to create combo decks around it. You can run only one copy of it so you’ll need more draw options and if you do draw cards then you wont have an empty hand to capitalize on myras. And rogue is not druid, it can’t survive forever.
A good example of rogue combo deck was malygos before the rotation. You could specifically draw your combo pieces. And if you also drew some of the many damage spells in your deck you could kill your opponent. This time there’s no specific draw, there’s no Vanish when things get out of control, not enough healing to survive. So I don’t think it is gonna work.
A better aproach was Nomi. The deck was a tempo deck and had a game plan of killing your opponent without nomi, just occasionaly you had the combo pieces in hand to do a last push. Still it turned out to be inferior in most matchups.
Yeah I agree with the comparison to Sludge Belcher this is probably the card people have been asking for as a defensive early minion since Tar Creeper rotated out.
it's 1 less mana than Sludge Belcher but -1 attack and the "deathrattle" is a 2/1(injured max 5) instead of a 1/2. I think the fact that you can't kill it in one go and it resist AOE is good enough to include in any none aggro deck looking to defend against aggro.
it fits in both taunt warrior and reborn paladin decks how viable those decks will be? who knows.
Control warlock currently would like this card as well.
I never played it but i dare to guess that this is wrong. Fel Reaver usually finishes the game when played in curve pretty quickly. You don’t care about your deck.
You do care about your opponents Taunts getting revived though
Fedora strider was good cause it was a 4/4 this card is a total tempo loss the turn it's played and guess what is the most important aspect of the game? Shuffling cards into your deck and winning in fatigue according to most people in fan sites..
I guess it can be compared to Bittertide Hydra. Marginally useful as finisher in Aggro decks.
Hydra was extremely meta-dependant and often suicidal.
This mech is actually worse against taunt minions, so it probably makes the bad matchups even worse, but it might make the even ones slightly better. Maybe.
It's primarily for the bundling of the effects. +4/+4, Taunt, Divine Shield. While the Divine Shield won't carry over if it's been popped it still lets you buff an Immortal Prelate on board to swing into something else immediately. Also it retains the shield in the niche cases when it's destroyed by a Destroy effect like Deadly Shot, Naturalize, or Assassinate etc.
Uldum Card Reveal - Mortuary Machine
My combo-sense is tingling!

Uldum Rogue Card Reveal - Shadow of Death
Danm this card seems nuts. You can even target enemies.
Uldum Rogue Card Reveal - Shadow of Death
You can play both ^^ Draw and play 1 mana good, class card, play shadows.
New Neutral Minion - Bone Wraith
It's a strong defensive minion.

Dalaran Librarian
New Priest Spell - Embalming Ritual
Just as a funny note, you Could give your opponents reborn if they are playing cards like Doomsayer but I know that’s a very fringe scenario.
Two Uldum Card Reveals - Pharaoh Cat & Bone Wraith
These cards look fairly solid.
Uldum Card Reveal - Mortuary Machine
Silence Priest likes the card. No one else does. Way too dangerous.

Uldum Rogue Card Reveal - Shadow of Death
I LOVE IT OMG
New Paladin Spell - Pharaoh's Blessing
I never wanted a card like this to exist, tho i knew it was just the matter of time. This will obliterate arena, if not bucketed correctly.
Uldum Card Reveal - Mortuary Machine
Just imagine playing this, only to find that your opponent plays 2 Taunt minions on turn 5 !
Uldum Card Reveal - Mortuary Machine
Yes, it gains.
New Warlock Spell - Plague of Flames
Noone mentioned High Inquisitor Whitemane so far.
8 Mana, 2 cards: Twisting Nether on your opponent's side + trigger all your deathrattle/reborn minions.
Actually an interesting card in control/combo, when you're somewhat even on board.
(Same effect with Kel'Thuzad, although a turn later)
EDIT: Also Mad Summoner + this is a 2 card, 7 mana full boardclear (bar deathrattles); interacting with Jumbo Imp
Uldum Rogue Card Reveal - Shadow of Death

But no.. Tempo.

My favorite card has to be Mogu Cultist, it's a high skill high risk high reward combo and I just love to pull out such combos, it's so much fun

I agree on tha
New Rogue Spell - Shadow of Death
I think the spell would have cost 5 mana, if Preparation hadn't been nerfed.
Uldum Rogue Card Reveal - Shadow of Death
I'm just throwing ideas out. We've seen draw combo decks before like Shirvallah Paladin and Nomi Priest, so this could work in a similar way.
