  • Uldum Final Reveal Stream w/ Brian Kibler, Peter Whalen, & Chris Sierra - July 31

I hope they'll finally show more priest cards

  • What was first? The art, the effect or the name of a card?

Cards' design come first: effects and interactions define the gameplay so they're the first thing they think about. Then it come graphic: for the most important cards of each set they've got a dedicated team of artist that make it on demand, while for the fillers I think they've got a sort of pool with unused and previously discarded art. Names come as last, but the most iconic cards are probably already named from the beginning since they're themed to the set itself.

  • I Need Help for Wild Highlander Paladin...

That's perfectly fine. If you're satisfied with those choices then by all means, go for it! Hope you can make it work.

Regarding Tarim: Say your opponent has three high statted minions. You play Tarim and those three minions turn into 3/3s. Tarim has 7 health. Meaning your opponent will have to trade all three of their, previously high statted, minions into that single six-drop of yours before they can get to your face. That's part of what makes him so strong.

And regarding Uther: The wild meta has developed enough where aggro decks can still win even if you manage to hit Reno on turn 6. I myself have won against plenty of Reno Warlocks who had Reno on curve. But I still managed to kill them with Odd Rogue and Even Shaman for instance. Hence my suggestion to add more healing than just Reno, and Uther fits the bill of lategame healing perfectly fine.

Now that I think of it, in regards to my previous suggestion of running strong early game drops rather than murlocs, you could also consider adding Wickerflame Burnbristle like Wolfric suggested. That's also a great card to help your survive against early aggression.

And lastly, why not add Tirion Fordring? He seems fantastic in a deathrattle oriented paladin deck.

  • New Hunter Spell - Pressure Plate

Shouldn't a pressure plate flavor wise trigger during an interaction of a minion? Like summon or attack.

    Had the same thought

In Standard this gets completely wrecked by Lord Godfrey, and additionally in Wild by Defile.

edit: Also by the new Shaman card, Earthquake

    and more relevantly, Warpath.

This card isn't good, but it may have some niche applications.

I don't think warpath is necessarily relevant... I mean something has to get wrecked by warpath..

Not really sure how the second highest played class in the format isn't relevant...?

Gz on the card reveal Dekkster!!

  • Uldum Card Reveal - Pressure Plate

Warpath is relevant in that it's a standard card that actually sees play in standard, unlike Godfrey ATM. Dyn-o-matic seems great as well even if it only kills half of the assassin with its battlecry.

  • New Hunter Spell - Pressure Plate

Very strong in conjunction with Freezing trap since it gives hunter more than one secret that deals with large minions effectively, and they're triggered differently. I also like that this isn't triggered by a minion attack, since that's the usual play-around against hunter secrets: just don't attack.

  • New Hunter Spell - Pressure Plate

    nice question

  • Uldum Card Reveal - Anubisath Warbringer

Also decent with the 9 cost priest spell that summons 1/1s

  • New Neutral Minion - Wasteland Assassin

This reborn minion is below average.  That makes me happy, however he goes into the 5-cost summon pool.  It is going to suck if this one gets summoned against you.

  • Uldum Card Reveal - Pressure Plate

best card reveal video in SoU by far

  • New Neutral Minion - Wasteland Assassin

I don't anticipate seeing this much outside arena.

  • Wasteland Assassin

Probably an unwitting staple for the new Paladin quest.  Otherwise kind of meh.  Much stronger in Arena.

  • Uldum Card Reveal - Wasteland Assassin

Decent use of Reborn but not great. Arena card probably.

  • Uldum Card Reveal - Wasteland Assassin

Meh, I think Cursed Disciple was better. Traded better due to higher attack and lower mana cost. The Stealth doesn't really do too much here. AoE will still kill it.

  • New Warrior Minion - Frightened Flunky

Now the real question is: will Shaggy be able to discover Scooby Do ( a new taunt beast) to come and save the day?

  • Two Uldum Card Reveals - Frightened Flunky & Infested Goblin

    Frightened Flunky artwork is amazing!

  • New Warrior Spell - Into the Fray

If more cheap taunt minions are on their way, this will be seriously good, lets wait and see!

I don't get the flavor of this card. Why has a frightened flunky taunt himself? It makes sense, that he discoveres a taunt. But he can't really taunt himself, if he is frightened...

Completely agree, nothing about this art says 'taunt'. Usually there's some visual cue like a really big strong looking character or someone holding a shield or something that suggests that they'd stand in your way but this guy looks like he just wants to avoid confrontation and would be more likely to have stealth than taunt.

He wants to hide but cannot so no stealth.  He is shaking in his boots and his bones are rattling loudly ( just like the Scooby Do cartoon).  He is drawing a whole lot of attention to himself so therefor he has taunt.

  • Uldum Card Reveal - Wasteland Assassin

Ok this is one of the packfillers IMHO

  • The Burndown!

I think they intend the first days to be a dispute between subpar decks. I am not sure how they got this things together, there are some with some kind of sinergy, but very odd inclusions.

My guess is they have some "seeds", just like the buckets from sinlge-player content and the decks are a mix of buckets and random cards. We should see decks "evolving" over time, with the worst onesdying off and the stronger ones taking over, until there´s some four or five stronge decks that reach equilibrium, if people play enough games.

It will suck to play this on the weekend and be demolished on your first game, but after one loss your deck will be on-par with the stronger "evolved" ones.

  • The Burndown!

Maybe they test deck recipe for wild whizbang
