  • Uldum Card Reveal - Pressure Plate

Nice card. destroying minions is always useful.

also, I think it is cool that this is basically a Deadly Shot, a 3 mana card, on a secret, a 2 mana card.

I like the theme of hunter secrets being 3 mana cards as 2 mana secrets.

you have Bear Trap, Cat Trick, Snake Trap, Venomstrike Trap, and Wandering Monster. all of which are 3 mana cards on 2 mana secrets

so all this taunt support is great and all, but unless warrior can actually get some Taunt cards, all these support cards will not be very useful.

I just checked and here is a list of all taunt cards for warrior in standard:

  • New Warlock Minion - Diseased Vulture

    Wild Evenlock will like this.

    It won't.

This doesn't compare to an 8/8 or 7/7.

It’s a good counter to Mechathun decks

Yes and no. Since the card description states "after", if you cast only one spell and manage to kill Mecha'thun with it, his deathrattle will trigger before the secret comes into play. In wild you could potentially counter Mecha'thun warlocks with it, but only if they aren't careful. If they play the 10-drop, followed by Bloodbloom, the mech would be vulnerable to the destruction effect. If however the warlock plays BB first and then follows up with Mecha'thun and Cataclysm, the game is over for you.

Regardless, props for noticing this interaction.

Well I was mostly thinking Druid in wild. But yeah against warlock it’s a little bit more tricky to pull of

I love card reveal season, or as it always ends up, cringeLOL season

    Hand Bolster poggers

  • Uldum Card Reveal - Pressure Plate

That video was, err, interesting! :)

Pathra can sing AND play HS.

    Zalae can play HS :P

  • Uldum Card Reveal - Pressure Plate

This is not just a new hunter card, this is one of the first 'think before you act' hunter cards. It's all about timing to not become useless in the proces. I like giving the hunters something to think about as they normally think: "SMOrc? SMOrc right? Shall i...SMOrc? Oh, whait i'll just go face then."

Edit: On hearthpwn this comment got downvoted so quickly that it was funny, do any of you see the pun and point in my comment or is it as bad as they think it is? - Point taken, i'll shut it then ^^

  • New Hunter Spell - Pressure Plate

Seems like a strong card. Lots of value for that 2 mana but you don't get to choose when/which minion is destroyed. Makes hunter secrets a bit more diverse as well considering the others in standard are mostly just triggered by attacks.

At last we see a  new secret. Seems good.

  • Uldum Card Reveals - Diseased Vulture & Neferset Ritualist

The 4/5 summoned when tapping, is that an unrevealed card? I don't recognize it and there are also no 3-mana 4/5 in the card database.

  • Uldum Card Reveal - Pressure Plate

It’s a good counter to Mechathun decks

  • Uldum Card Reveal - Pressure Plate

Good vs Conjurer Mage and any deck using buffs to create big minions. It will probably see play.

  • Uldum Card Reveal - Pressure Plate

Idk it‘s deadly shot for one less mana but your opponent decides when to trigger it. He even can attack first. Very situational, useless against aggro.

At best for the Secret synerg

  • New Warrior Spell - Into the Fray

Very interesting to see these taunt buffing cards in this set. They are better than previous ones and probably strong, i just wonder why they are pushing this in such a way again. I look forward to seeing the new warrior quest.

  • New Hunter Spell - Pressure Plate

Extremely good against control decks, since you will most likely kill a taunt, but kinda meh against aggro (with The Coin). In the latter case you are mostly going to kill 1-drops for 2 mana, but I guess the downsides pale before the highroll potential.

[edit] In wild this would be an auto-include in spell hunter, since it counters the popular decks - tempo/miracle mage and big priest. Curious to see whether spell/secret hunter would make a comeback there.

  • Uldum Card Reveal - Pressure Plate

    Good card for secret hunter.

You enjoy it? Good for you. And yes, I know that Quest Warrior was played during the Un'Goro early Meta. But it was crap.

Also, its an Archetype that they've pushed before. Stolen Goods was MSoG as was I Know a Guy and cards like King's Defender were released in The Grand Tournament. You can go back to 2016 and see Taunt Warrior Decks. And they were shit.

So yeah. It took two OP Legendary Cards to make Taunt Warrior work. So why are they pushing it again?

It would be nice if they came up with something else.

I'm pretty sure Quest warrior was the top quest deck together with rogue. Both were tier 1/2, far from crap.

  • New Neutral Minion - Neferset Ritualist

This will be top tier in arena at the very least i imagine.

  • Uldum Card Reveals - Diseased Vulture & Neferset Ritualist

Two good cards, things are heating up a bit.

  • Uldum Card Reveals - Diseased Vulture & Neferset Ritualist

Diseased Vulture seems really strong - turns every tap into "draw a card, summon a 3 drop" for 2. It's high enough health to hand around after the turn you play it, and has natural synergy with useful Zoo cards like Flame Imp, and to a lesser extent with Demonbolt and Riftcleaver.
