The Reno card would've been a decent build around if it said deal 10 damage dealt randomly among enemy characters. As I see it, right now it is not at all worth it to have only one of every card in your deck. If blizzard prints more cards to support this maybe it can be good.
Love that they're pushing no duplicates again. I think the effect is being underrated by many people. It's definitely a strong card imo, just a little boring though. If they put out a few more cards that support the highlander archetype, I think it could be a solid deck.
There's very much a weird "10" thing going on with Mage. Raid the Sky Temple requires you to cast 10 spells, then you get a Hero Power. Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron casts 10 spells, and now this card deals 10 damage. I reckon this is supposed to be a callback to Timepiece of Horror, one of the "powerful artifacts" from the original LoE set.
Since is printed "10" and not "ten" damage (I believe) that it will be effected by Spell Damage. Still not as good as original Reno, but still could be a useful card.
If you are able to discount him w/ a Pocket Galaxy that would be a cheap affect..
Also, would Power of Creation get the Battlecry x2? That could be useful. But it would have to be late in the game when/if you only had 1 of each card left...
Could find a spot.. if there are other Highlander cards or in wild.
Color me disappointed as well. Reno can't even be boosted by spell damage. That would have made him marginally better, although I suppose there's Brann Bronzebeard in wild to make him more viable.

Tried the Gonk Druid - would have won if not against Shaman and both my Witching Hours pulled Frogs feelsbadman. Definitely fun though will give it some more tries.

I mean the card isn't that bad but the requirements are too heavy.

I love that they're trying to push Highlander Mage again but it will need more support than just Reno, the effect isn't sadly good enough.
