This seems laughably easy to pull off in wild. I've seen Mages hit 10 spells on turn 2. Probably not worth running over the time warp though. Pretty easy in standard too, but not as easy. If not for that new 2-mana quest guy, this would probably not be playable. I hope mage does not get more cheap spells or spell reduction cards
Great aggro. Three smacks to the face. Good mid-range. And I cost one less than the wasp thing that lifesteals for three. This is much better because you can take out a minion
It's more about how much Health they have: if the enemy minion only has three Health remaining, three of the four Bees will kill it and the fourth bee will remain on the board. But yes, this is a removal spell first and a token generator second.
That was my thought too. But then, what do they really get out of it that's relevant at the point in the game where they get the reward? Cyclone Mage wants to barrage off spells quickly.
But 10 spells deep is when you get the reward, so you've definitely fired off at least one salvo to get there. Then what? I suppose on the chance that you've exhausted that salvo, and what you for back off of Mana Cyclone, then MAYBE it's relevant.
But that's a lot of caveats and addenda for something that you want to feel is a suitable reward for the effort. And that strikes me as too inconsistent to be competitive. Sweet memes, but..
Worse hagatha effect but with better spells as you are mage. Think its good but probably that's it. Could be nice with some burn decks as extra power when you strat to run dry?
Upon further consideration, the thing I'd want to use the Mage quest for is straight up too slow. Like with the new Warlock quest, it feels like you're going to need specific deckbuilding and a little luck. Unless something new and specifically relevant hits the Mage pool in SoM, I don't know how useful Raid the Sky Temple is.

New Shaman Minion - Weaponized Wasp
Wow that's good, about as strong as a card can be without being "meta defining."
New Druid Spell - BEEEES!!!!
I'm guessing the bees bypass taunt?
If so, this seems like a stronger Shadow Bolt. Pretty good.
BEEEES!!!
Not the BEES!

New Mage Spell - Raid the Sky Temple
I feel like Cyclone mage could simply slap this on turn 1. And with the spell genration the deck has, the quest can be finished quite reliably.
Regarding the reward, it's good but not broken. Glad Blizzard didn't create a pure Primordial Glyph as a hero power.
New Druid Spell - BEEEES!!!!
3 mana deal 4 splitted damage to a minion, Overkill: summon a 1/1 beast for every leftover damage.
It seems very good card.
Raid the Sky Temple
This is going to be ridiculous. Especially with the Mana Cyclone and the twinspell cards. Getting a mage card that costs less going to be super fun
New Druid Spell - BEEEES!!!!
If you cast it against 2 health minion you get a dead enemy minion and two 1/1s

New Druid Spell - BEEEES!!!!
best flavor ever!
This + Juggler is obviously pretty strong.
New Druid Spell - BEEEES!!!!
Soul of the forest plus this for seven mana. I don't know. Perhaps paring with a dire wolf might be good.
New Mage Spell - Raid the Sky Temple
Purely for memes, and I'm glad because is already too good with too many good win conditions.
That said, this seems pretty fun.
New Druid Spell - BEEEES!!!!
So one can only summon them if there is an enemy minion and if this minion has more than 0 attack they are only kind of removal?
Three New Cards Revealed - Mage Quest (Raid the Sky Temple), Weaponized Wasp, BEEEES!!!
I too am a wild advocate but don't play it myself. I love what the format is, I just want to play with the new toys 99% of the time
Three New Cards Revealed - Mage Quest (Raid the Sky Temple), Weaponized Wasp, BEEEES!!!
Shaman totem that generates a lackey every turn seems to indicate they are pushing a more aggro based swarm shaman as an archetype
