Since I had almost all of the cards, I played some games with only a few replacements. Currently about 6-1 around 18-20 and also quite fun to play and I think the first time that I actually use my Togwaggle in a deck that I like, so first of all thanks for the deck!
What I don't understand: Why would anyone switch back after seeing the combo Togwaggle/Explore Un'Goro? Is discovering situational cards potentially so much better as playing with the (supposedly) refined deck from another class? I wonder whether I would even play the swap back card, but then again there is probably a reason why I am only playing at the ranks that I am playing (at least in Wild).
Lovely. Preferential treatment for China when their players have done %^$$ in any competitive play that I have seen.
Name some. Like ... *Chinese* players. My guess is that the only(!) person you can name is named Roger and his teammates. Who are not Chinese.
Plus: yes, it's fair to condemn every Asian player due to some black sheep. I think you can find in every country some huge asshole, hating the rest of the country will make you hate everyone. Including yourself.
I had this issue this morning (Europe, between around 06:00 to 11:00 CEST). News Posts on the front page and pretty much all the links to decks lead to this error. The only section working was the forums. It occured on mobile (Safari) and desktop (chrome). Since about 12:00 CEST everything has been running smoothly.
Yes, exactly the same situation. Europe, Chrome on desktop or mobile Safari, about the same time span, and not logged in. But now it works again, regardless of being logged in or not.
Yeah HS got even less played for me lately. Obligatory quests and done. I've been enjoying MTG a lot more and never getting salty with it, it's amazing. Poor HS, I might even not buy any pre-orders this time around. :(
How competitive is competitive? For instance, with Hearthstone you could learn the basics and pilot almost any deck from the lowest rankings to say Rank 10, before you really needed to start thinking about investing in cards. Is this at all true of MTGA?
It really depends. You'll see a lot of mono red aggro decks in ladder, but if you have even a somewhat amateurish white weenie deck that blocks some creatures and gains life, they give up.
Likely the "safe" bet to climbing ladder would be an Esper control, but even they get hosed by Mana flood or getting Mana screwed. If your deck can be consistent, you can climb.
Since it seems that the main obstacle to more cosmetics pet-like is the small space avaible on mobile, they should probably remove one of the two "angle" from the board to make some room: yea, each board will be less detailed since you'll have only one themed corner instead of two but I think that it may be worth it if the new cosmetics are interesting and fun.
I've been trying to win some ladder games with a BW Vampires deck. I can't win everything, but it feels good when I do. I'm getting to slowly climb it, though I'm still at gold 4.
When I finish getting some wins though I enjoy playing a BG undergrowth deck. That one feels satisfying to win with :D
If I look at the viewer count, admittedly only on the main English channel, it is usually around 10-20k viewers. Assuming similar numbers in other regions that's maybe 40-60k people. So the odds should be around 2-3% per hour. But I have never had a classic drop either and watched 10s of hours:-(
It's just another combo deck that requires some specific condition to be achieved: he needs to draw all the cards, get the quest completed, setup a board and then close the match.
It may also become tricky to complete the quest if you're unlucky with the random spells you generate, because they may be useless.
Imho, quest Mage is not problematic at all actually but as any other combo it may become frustrating to play against if he get perfect draws and lucky extra spells.
I'll probably just get people telling me to go to the salt thread. But honestly, I'm not salty. I just want to know why Blizzard thinks it's healthy and fun for the game to have Archmage Vargoth casting Time Warp giving mage 3 turns in a row? Guess they feel Time Warp is already too much of an "I win" card for the extra 3rd turn to matter? This opens up mage to not need Archmage Antonidas to get the kill. A full board of decent minions will kill anyone in 3 turns. I really hope they change this interaction to not give 3 turns in a row before it ends up becoming a major problem.
It's the Moonkin family's Spell Damage +2 combined with a Mana Addict effect. Expensive, but it could help you reach for lethal with a bunch of cheap spells like Moonfire and Claw.
You must make a Citrine Spellstone, using the first image as the Lesser variant. The effect and requirement can be whatever you want. You don't have to do all three cards, but I included the full set anyway in case you want the pictures for personal use.
I've only made 3 purchases in my lifetime here: $2 during beta for a gold card and both of the 10-pack-plus-legendary packs. Even when I've had the cash I've had no real reason to actually buy anything.
If they made it a full on pet, with animations and interactions you can do with it including petting it, guiding it around..maybe even have it react to certain things, like cringe when you get hit or randomly hiss and swat at an opponent's card (entirely local and doesn't DO anything, just a visual thing).
I'D #()$# BUY IT! $10 minimum if it looks good. $20 if it's so involved I literally lose games due to interacting with the thing (woops, missed my turn because I was feeding my dragon).
I like the idea of adding a 6th item in packs, since Hearthstone as a game is going down in popularity, this might be a great idea to bring players back. I'm going to share this post to the official forums. I'm also gonna pitch additional creative ideas.
I view the same thing as the OP , only seeing the 3 white bar on a PC ... BUT it is because i was zoom in a lot (i am an old man with need of glasses !! :-P) so when i zoomed out i saw the regular menu.
Hope this help
Seeing the white bars on PC will happen if you are zoomed in or have your display resolution set low.
You should have access to the forums though via the dropdown "hamburger" menu even on desktop. I'm able to see it and use it just fine here, though it sounds like something might be going wonky for some so I'd love to get to the bottom of it.
If you aren't able to get to the forums from the "hamburger" menu, are you able to show us what you see via a screenshot? Can be uploaded to a site like https://imgur.com

[Game] Name another card that has the same...
Dr. Morrigan
Deathrattle: Returns to your deck
(Doesn't have to be written like this e.g. swapping with another minion is okay too)

For sure. I was lucky and got a pack, too, but I'm pretty sure that makes us the 1%
Archmage Vargoth and Time Warp
This is in Wild, right? Aren't there like a shit ton of broken/otk combos?
Is it possible to reliably draw Vargoth every time? Because that's when the word 'broken' comes in.

Idea for a new cosmetic item
Great idea. Racking it on to some sort of progression system to evolve would be so nice once those daily quest logs are empty
Here's some art, make a card! [Legacy Game]

Dead serious here. I'm one of those folks who had, and currently MISS, that old program where it was just a cat chasing after your mouse on your screen
