    It probably has less to do with preference and more to do with the majority of their region's tournaments having a different format to all the other ones. My assumption would be that the July 20 and Oct 6 tourneys for China will be the "correct format" for the Global Championship.

    But you can ignore this and just be mad if you want

    I think you might be onto something with Mage & Rogue.

    Probably the mage would be "add random SPELL" rather than minion, but it definitely seems like they trying to get mage back into spell mode.

    And I could certainly see the rogue quest being something like "Play 5 cards from another class" and getting the Hallucination power.

    As others have said i think the priest power will be Resurrection-related in some way.

    My guess on Paladin would be Secrets-related: like "play 6 secrets" and the reward being "Add random secret to your hand/put it into play"

    I would love/hate if Warrior was bomb-related: "Shuffle 5 bombs into your opponent's deck" gets you a weaker version of Mr. Chu's power from the Heist (either shuffle only 1 mini-bomb, or shuffle 2 but they only do 1-2 dmg)

    No idea on Hunter - could be spell related since they leaned into that pretty hard, but Mech-realted also not impossible.

    Considering Blizzard-Activision just nerfed a bunch of cards' artwork just because of China, more preferential treatment for them is not surprising.

    I've always been a huge proponent of additional cosmetics in the game, specifically board flair.

    Board flair was an idea I had a while back where we could unlock (paid or unpaid) items that would sit beside the board and would showcase your achievements (like 1000 wins with a class) or just be cool looking stuff you could interact with during a game much like you can a normal Hearthstone board.

    The biggest blocker in creating such a system is mobile Hearthstone sadly. Mobile doesn't have any extra space beside the board for fun stuff like that, and there's no real room on the board for fun without removing the other corner that gives the board a theme. How do you think they could go about implementing this but for mobile users as well?

    But yeah, super on board with this! A leveling system for said cosmetics would definitely let you stand out more too as you play more and more Hearthstone, rewarding players with cool stuff that isn't just winning 5 games every season.

    Disprespectful:  So you think the developers SOLE purpose with nerfs, is to piss you (and other players LIKE you) off?  You honestly think that?  "Dev #1: Hey fellow devs.  Let's nerf this card.  But let's do it JUST TO PISS people off. Dev#2:HAHA YEA THAT SOUNDS AWESOME!" 

     

    I believe everyone is welcome to give feedback, both positive and negative.  But using language like you chose, is just pathetic.  It's a hallmark language signal of a generation of newer gamers who are ...frankly speaking...entitled little shits. 

    If you want to give feedback,  my suggestion is drop the cutesey sarcastic bit.  Sarcasm doesn't get anyone anywhere, especially in written/internet communication.  Leave sarcasm where it's best used, verbal communication.  Where the nuances of sarcasm can come into play, and not be misconstrued at all by any interested parties.  I'd also suggest whenever you want to write feedback, especially regarding a creative process; take a step back; think about how you would feel if YOU were the person who created the very thing you were criticizing; and then remember that there are people on the other end of your posts.

    Developers are not some nameless shadowy figure who is this wispy embodiment of evil when things are bad, and this apparition of blessedness when things are fun.  They are people.  Who make both good and bad decisions sometimes.

    There's an important quote that I hope you read and take away some meaning from regarding this topic:

    What statistically unplayable/underplayed cards in the Basic set means is that those cards are likely inherently unusable in decks for any player regardless of their level of skill or experience.

     

    I think that's the root of the problem.

    As a new player who joined early in 2019, I was enthused by the then-rotated cards, and left at a MASSIVE loss following this Spring's rotation, even in spite of my small collection.

    Some of the standard and classic cards feel like absolute useless junk that will never be usable again as they stand, and some are even Legendaries...so many cards feel just rotten when you open them (Nat Pagle, Tinkmaster, that 1/4 taunt ape every one laughs about...)

    I thought they were filler (well the ape seems to be), but only later did I realise they were leftovers of once powerful cards.

    It's just a bit sad and it feels like they deserve something to be done about them: replace, un-nerf (partial or total), or just plain HoF.

    That said, I now enjoy playing Wild now and then: HoF is not a proper solution and either Wild needs to be looked after properly and respectfully, or new play modes need to be invented so old cards can be used.

    I really love the mature approach taken by TES:Legends, accepting "strong enough" nerfs to keep cards but not rotating anything.

    To me it is the strength of the digital format, that old cards can always be fixed instantly with global reach, not just banned.

    And maybe some pet batlle as well? Pet uses a "mini-pet-deck" etc. Can lvl up, unlock talents what not.

    That is a very nice idea. It could also open up the opportunity for blizz to sell additional skins for your pets.

    Well, all decks try to cheat somewhere, this is called "using synergy". And some synergy is more serious than other and then you want to call it cheating :).

    Turn 4 Barnes into Y'shaarj or a turn 4 Voidcaller into Voidlord/Mal'Ganis is toxic and mana cheating -but if you don't want to call that mana cheating than be my guest.

    It will be so nice! The idea for more cosmetics has been around for sometimes by now and, if I'm not wrong, recently the've spoken about putting both decks "horizontally" so that the card back of each player can be seen better, just to show off a bit, so may something is moving and we'll see more costumization option.

    I think iv identified the problem, or at least one part of it: you have to be logged in on the site, then no error. Obviously it shouldnt matter if you are logged in or not, we will have to fix that, but you can work around it this way for now, sorry for any inconvenience!
